Forgive my fever dream matchup. Have at it
The fight takes place at the edge of a forest in an open field
The Monarchs are transported to the world of the fantasy nation
Members for the Monarchs: Seshethkunaaz the Dragon King, Akura Malice, Northstrider, Emriss Silentborn, Reigan Shen, The Eightman Empire and Queen Sha Miara, and Ninecloud Court.
Everybody involved will act in character, with the one exception being that the people in charge of said fantasy nation will want to kill the Monarchs
Other than that, they can do so by any means they could/would
Assume any magic systems will be equalized
The fantasy side wins if they either destroy the Monarchs outright
The Monarchs wins if they either destroy the fantasy side outright or successfully defend against the fantasy side's efforts for 10 years
Morals off for both. Both start 20 meters apart. Both have all of their gear. Fight is won through the last man standing by either the death, incapacitation or BFR of all other opponents.
Morals off for both. Both start 20 meters apart. Both have all of their gear. Fight is won through the last man standing by either the death, incapacitation or BFR of all other opponents.
This is Zombie Gregor. Both start 20 meters apart. Both have all of their gear. Fight is won through the last man standing by either the death, incapacitation or BFR of all other opponents.
An alliance of characters with fantasy characters take on the Great Tomb
They win if they defeat the Guardians and Ainz and/or conquer the tomb as their own
Everyone is in character, but team is willing to not kill each other
The team shows up 100 feet from the Tomb's entrance, other than that Ainz is given no warning about this attack
Round 1: Speed equal
Round 2: Speed unequal
The team: Rand Al'Thor (Wheel of Time), Anomander Rake (Malazan), Eragon (Inheritance Cycle), Percy Jackson (Percy Jackson and the Olympians), Lord Ruler (Mistborn), and Catherine (Practical Guide to Evil). All of them are at their peak with all of their gear except Rand and Lord Ruler. Rand is before the Final Battle and Lord Ruler is his normal self
Both of them at their full power, who would win?
I’m sure my opinion on this one will probably be more in line with you guys for once
Rules notes and win condition
All of the Necrons initially emerge in New York city(it’s the most populated by both sheer numbers and even density so showing up in it gives them a head start)
The US can and will use all means necessary to stave off extinction as long as possible including nukes(again this is another survival challenge like with guard
When I say only necron warriors I mean only necron warriors, (Assume it’s like the empire of the severed where they’re programming and memories got screwed and they all fall under the command of tomb world master programs rather than actually having a character lead them)
The Necrons have infinite time, if the last US citizen dies of old age while in hiding after evading the Necrons for years on end then that’s a wrap
I already stated how things are gonna go in the title no need for a win condition just how many of the disgusting non-organic freaks does it take?
Round 1 : Geralt at his max vs Vampire Lord with all perks unlocked and powers vampires have shown in ESO in their base.
Round 2 : Higher Vampire vs Vampire Lord
Rules are over complicated
No powers or weapons that can wipe out Towns instantly.
All Vehicles must be created (including ones that could kill everyone given enough time and resources)
The companies are involved in this war.
Consoles, hand held devices and other accessories have become weapons.
Let the 7th corporate wars BEGIN!
Context: I am a man of faith who believes in intelligent design but I read certain parts of the Book of Genesis figuratively, as opposed to literally like the Young Earth Creationists.
According to Young Earth Creationist readings of the Book of Genesis, dinosaurs and modern mammals, as well as human beings, lived alongside each other (They reject the idea that Earth is billions of years old and take the days of creation in Genesis to be literal 24-hour days, and they take any metaphorical interpretation to be an attack on the authority of God as revealed in the Bible).
Let us entertain this mindset for the sake of this post and see what would happen if every single extinct theropod dinosaur from the Mesozoic Era lived alongside humans in Bible times. So, imagine Spinosaurus in Egypt during the Ten Plagues of Exodus, or a Velociraptor making a nest in a cave near Sodom and Gomorrah, a Tyrannosaurus having a run-in with Jesus Christ Himself, Joseph from the concluding books of Genesis running into a Compsognathus, Noah's sons, Shem, Ham, and Japeth, interacting with a Dilophosaurus, the Apostle Paul racing with a Deinonychus, etc.
For this hypothetical, we'll start after Noah and the Great Global Flood (Genesis 7:19-23) and we'll end the hypothetical with the Roman takeover of Jerusalem in 70 AD. How long would the carnivorous theropods last if they lived alongside the characters of the Holy Bible as the literal readers of Genesis would have us believing?
The Harry Potter world is hit with a zombie apocalypse 2 years before the Deathly Hallows. How does the wizarding world handle it? Will they be forced to break the Statute of secrecy in this kind of global disaster? For some reason magic can't cure the zombies.
Round 1: Walking Dead
Round 2: Dawn of the Dead (Remake)
Round 3: Last of Us
Bonus: Can Harry, Hermione, and Ron survive them?
A walled off Berlin gets teleported to AoT E1, all their infrastructure (think pipes, electricity) continues to work and the geography around Berlin molds so it can fit the newly appeared city (for example, a river spawns so the Oder can continue flowing through the middle of Berlin.
How does the series change? Can East-Berlin survive against the titan threat?
R1: Berlin is alone and gets no outside help.
R2: Raisin bombers are able to provide east Berlin with additional weaponry / resources but can't attack themselves.
The Culture (just after the Idiran-Culture War) is set to face off against a large coalition of authoritarian sci-fi regimes. Can they overcome the coalition? Or will the commies(/j) meet their demise?
The Coalition (Peak Strength):
The Imperium of Man
The Necrons
The Galactic Empire (SW)
The Terran Dominion (SC)
The Terran Empire (ST)
The Cardassians
The Dominion (ST)
Principality of Zeon
The Empire (Dune)
The Empire under Leto II (Dune)
Goa’uld Empire
Helghan Empire
The Galactic Empire (Foundation)
The Ori
Imagine this scenario, a random person suddenly wakes up to find themself with a superpower. After finding this out, this person decides to become a supervillain and goes out to commit a big crime(for example: robbing a bank). A swat team comes in, their only goal is to stop them dead or alive. The real life supervillain has whatever superpower of your choosing, can the swat team stop them?
A mistborn, a windrunner, and a feruchemist battle in an all out battle royale. All of them are of similar skill levels and experience.
The mistborn starts with two full vials, but only enough Atium for maybe 1 second of use.
The Feruchemist has all his metalminds decently full. He can choose to bring a weapon with him but only 1.
The windrunner has sworn enough ideals to have both blade and plate.
R1: location is a street in Luthadel R2: out in the open on the Shattered Plains. R3: Interior of a building
Who would Win?
For whatever reason, Gabriel and Kroenen have been thrown into a fighting pit and must fight.
Gabriel has his knife fashioned from the trophy, and Kroenen has his two bladed tonfas.
Gabriel is in complete control of Madison’s body.
Who wins and who dies?
Could a team consisting of Itachi, Obito and Madara (alive, healthy & in prime) take out the entirety of the Demon Slayer universe?
For context Griffin and Kryuger is.a PMC fighting he enemies KCCO and Sangavis ferri right after ww3 ended Sangavis ferri is a rouge AI that wants to destroy humanity KCCO I don't remember much the grand armee at its height is 600'000 including bavariand badens Westphalians prussians Spaniards poles etc including artillery imperial guard navy etc So round 1 13 Vendarmiarie 2 the Bastille 3 streets of Paris the grand armee side gets 10'000 men including 3 arty 100 old guardsmen 1000 Westphalians poles bavarians and Spaniards the rest regular french line infantry while G&K uhh hm K98K Negev AK,15 and AK,12 and screw it give them defy team and Anti Rain team
First of all I’d like to say I disagree with what most people were saying in the last part of this….series? But the whole point of making the post was to ask what other people thought so I’m not gonna throw a fit by I am gonna explain my reasoning, feel free to skip if your not interested.(My personal estimate is 50 mechanized guard regiments, and 5 air all high balled to the max even then I don’t see the guard actually winning air superiority ever just not letting the US have air supremacy long enough for the ground units to knock out all its airfields since 40k aircraft don’t typically have stealth capabilities like modern fighter jets do vastly evening the playing field even if imperial radars can no doubt detect stealth planes at a far longer distance than modern radars which is the only reason the air regiments could actually fight fifth generation US planes at all, link here to that post to formulate your own opinion on the matter: https://www.reddit.com/r/whowouldwin/comments/1gieosp/how_many_mechanized_imperial_guard/)
This episode of “Warhammer vs the USA”’s rules notes and win conditions are:
Tactical ineptitude: As cool as the black Templars are their melee focused combat doctrine is really only effective because 1 their super soldiers who are equivalent to 100(though specifically for the level tactical ineptitude we’re discussing here it’s probably more like 60-80)guardsmen in terms of power when high balled to the max(Which we will be doing here because 10-40 doesn’t really make sense even in universe for 40k and if that’s all their worth then they ain’t doing jack to the US) and 2. 40k is a fictional universe that operates solely on the rule of cool(and that’s why we love it) but in this instance they’re invading a real world location and their lack of practical tactics is huge mark against them no matter how much they scream “The emperor protects” while only wielding a chainsword and charging 8 tanks all firing at them. (Honestly despite the ultramarines having 6 times less forces I think they’d actually secure more success than the black Templars against the US and that’s precisely why they weren’t chosen for this cause asking if the most strategically, tactically and logistically sound space marine chapter wins against the USA in this same scenario, is like asking if a grenade can vaporize the leaf right next to it)
That being said 6,000 soldiers and a couple hundred vehicles no matter how powerful, is 6000 soldiers and a couple hundred vehicles having all the power condensed into a small unit has both benefits and drawbacks, there is strength in numbers after all
No orbital bombardment for the black Templars(given the aforementioned tactical ineptitude they probably wouldn’t even think to do such a thing until all their forces are dead anyway) and no nukes for the United States(Unlike the last 2 times since it’s an instant win button against only a little over 6,000 targets)
The US military can’t recruit any new troops or manufacture any new weapons or vehicles, what they got is what they got for the entire fight(though they can bring out mothballed old equipment if need be) and that’s solely based on the black Templars win condition
In a similar vain the Black Templars aren’t getting any reinforcements their entire chapter is already here and none of the rest of imperium is coming to help they probably have enough supplies on their ships person anyway so for once someone is actually on par with the US in terms of logistics
The US gets about one week to prepare for the invasion(which is absolutely enough time to mobilize all active duty forces since the US military is a logistics organization that only dabbles in warfare) but the black Templars get to drop anywhere and of course can use air and space craft to rapidly redeploy to the next war zone
Win condition: The black Templars must wipe out atleast 95% of US military personnel(including reserves and national guard), vehicles and bases(Yes 95% of each) if they don’t then it’s a win for the US(Heck killing a single full company of 100 spaces marines is a win in its own right for anyone I’m pretty sure the US would be able to pull something like that off with its classic infinite missile, drone and artillery spam) also unlike the Guard the Templars don’t need to occupy anything since 6,000 marines +A couple hundred vehicles, no matter how powerful couldn’t possibly hold 3.8 million square miles of land alone (even in lore the space marines purpose is to wipe out armies so the guard can occupy worlds with little resistance if I remember correctly)
Also depending on who you think wins, how much damage do you think the losing side does to them, how many Templars does the US take down with it, who percentage of US military assets do the Templars destroy if they don’t meet the win condition?
I know it might sound silly but the Rabbids got some good feats.
Rules: Rabbids get everything across every game, TV series, Movie, etc. and the Rabbids start on 5 random planets that aren’t controlled by any faction.
Take Note, This Version Of Venom Is Fire-Proof And Can Sprout Giant Wings. (The Host Is Harry Osborn And He Has Already Come Into Contact With The Meteorite.).
One of the NJ mob's legal troubles reaches the office of federal judge Philip Banks. Tony sends Chrissy and Paulie to intimidate him, but they get lost in Pine Barrens again, so Tony has to do it personally.
Both in-character. Both unarmed. Victory by knock out.
Both will fight in their strongest form.
Both at the current peak of their power in either the manga or anime, excluding novel kars
Members are as they appear within the anime. They start the fight in their normal (but armed) states, but if it's too out of their league, they are allowed to utilize their magic gear powerups. They also don't have strict time limits this time, so they can stay for as long as necessary to plan until they're ready to strike.
