Can anyone locate the coordinates to this bridge/waterfront in montana?
Presumably this is in Tianjin, China. Any help is appreciated!
Malta, May 1942. Possibly in or near Ta'Qali, Kalafrana or Valletta. My grandfather (right) was in the RAF, and I'd love to know where this photo was taken - of course, there's very little to go on. I'm told the tree on the left is a Canary Island Date Palm. You can see the high kerb with chamfered edge, and the curved kerb behind them. They are standing in front of a park bench. Any help appreciated
This is a photo of my grandmother’s school and the only information I have is this photo and the fact it was somewhere in Glasgow, most likely central.
Any help at all identifying the name of this school or where exactly the photo was taken would be amazing, thanks.
I tried looking into the videos to see if they posted wheels it was from and nothing :/
My first post, made an account just to track down this location. I'm trying to find where my father-in-law is in this picture. It's somewhere in the American Southwest, taken in the late 70s or early 80s. Thanks for your help.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKiuqAdmAII The main areas of interest I want to focus on is the intersection/road where the Case 580 Super E backhoe was breaking old asphalt (3:29) and the area where they were building the highway retaining wall with the two auger-equipped machines (the Hitachi UH122 LC painted in the DBM Contractors livery and that smaller crawler auger drill along with that Cat 325L 10:53) 4:52
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hqOf35Tb5g Go to 9:28 and 22:45 to see more clear footage of this 325L digging and loading in this area along with that Hitachi UH122 LC.
The reason I need to know where this intersection along with this highway and it's retaining wall in addition to the "cliff" the 325L are is because I want to re-enact this construction project in Construction Simulator. But Astragon, the company who makes Construction Simulator needs reference images in order to reconstruct the said area. So far, I managed to gather Google Map images of the area around Queen Street and Spadina Avenue of Toronto when they repaired the streetcar rails back in 2012 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rPL6nPDJNk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84FHrk4WKFQ) But I'm stumped on the location of the footage in Awesome Road Construction Part 1 and Part 2 (the areas I specified). I need to know those areas' exact locations and what they would look like Today on Google Maps to be able to turn it into a game map for Construction Simulator.
what would be your guess? picture was taken from photographer tom nebbia.
I've recently tasked myself with finding the location of this interior from the game Tomodachi Life, but haven't been able to get any solid leads. I've gotten a few reverse-image search hints that this is in the Alps area, more specifically Switzerland. The appearance of limestone cliffs rings pretty Alps-y to me, but I am a bit thrown off by the A. horses, and B. the pine trees, which look like American or White Pines to me. Let me know if this is a place anyone knows or has any thoughts about!
This was taken from a cross-Africa trip in 1929, and I am trying to locate the place in Africa where it was most likely taken. There are some similar beehive villages in Aleppo, Syria, but the traveler went from Cape Town to Cairo and then Haifa, in British Mandate Palestine. Aleppo is too far north.
I posted this in a few other places and there was a lot of speculation about whether the load on this truck is safe and legal. A handful of guesses where it is.
I’m pretty sure it’s a Chinese license plate - looks like:
挂 • L C8306
You can see some examples like it at https://olavsplates.com/china.html
Can anyone say where that license plate is from? Really just a curiosity at this point.
Help me win this bet! Thank you!
The site has nothing to do with the house but I just really want to know more about it
Picture from about 1945. It says Westminster Abbey but Im wondering if its actually Canterbury cathedral. I cant quite find the right picture on line. What do you think Westminster abbey or Canterbury Cathedral.
