Today's Wheel of Fortune will NOT AIR on CBS, due to the 4th quarter being long enough to extend past 6:30 PM.
Shouldn't it be tradition that the host do the final spin? I'm assuming he can't reach the wheel?
I was so upset for Oleg tonight, why oh why didn't you pick one of the letters for Touring a Winery rather than just solving!?! He would have won if he had 🫣 poor guy
Ok. So I have been very fond of Ryan so far on his debut season, and have defended him on this very subreddit. Today was the first time I have been upset with him.
Pat never missed a beat when it came to contestants getting overly excited and giving reminders about little rules, like when a contestant goes to solve in the speed up without calling a letter first, and I have seen Ryan do this before with other contestants.
The contestant that solved didn’t get anything from Ryan when he wanted to solve, on a $6000 a letter none the less, outside of an “Ok.” And this would have taken the contestant to the bonus round too.
I really hope he starts to be consistent with the assistance. Either never give it or always give it when it comes to gameplay rule reminders. I still think he is a great choice but it definitely made me miss Pat.
Instead of guessing a letter and getting an extra SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS, Oleh decided to solve right away on the last round??!?!?!??!? He just threw away so much money!!! FOR NO REASON. AND HE WOULD HAVE WON. WTF.
I noticed that no one ever uses the ‘wild card’ to double up on a high money wedge anymore. Everyone saves the wild card in anticipation of the bonus round.
Has anyone used it recently to get an extra consonant on a money wedge recently?
So I had a ten minute audition back in August and it was just a call to get to know us.
Prior to that though, I had a link where I had to do some toss up puzzles. I got the email for the audition the next day.
I've seen people talk about the auditions to do the 16 puzzles (which I did back in 2022) but not this one. Should I be concerned that I haven't heard back yet?
Anyone else feels like this was changed at the very last second based on the fact that it was Tristiana who won the prize puzzle? I mean, "rows of umbrellas" don't exactly scream Italy to me. I would have guessed some Caribbean destination but definitely not Rome/Italy. After the initial introduction/conversation where Tristiana revealed that she's studying Italian, and Ryan showed off his skills, it just felt like a setup to me. When she correctly guessed the answer, he kept asking her "Where do you think you're going?", and she was clearly lost. I mean, it's a cool story, and she was super excited but it just feels like WoF is taking us for suckers sometimes.
Hello Wheelers,
I know that contestants with the Wild Card are (almost) always prompted to select a consonant during their Bonus Round letter selection, after they have selected the normal 3 consonants and one vowel.
However, is it the actual rule that you must select a consonant and a consonant only as your extra letter?
Or can you actually select an additional vowel, so that you have 3 vowels in play (the free E, your normal vowel selection, and your Wild Card vowel selection) during the Bonus Round puzzle?
I feel like I have seen a contestant (somewhat recently) use their Wild Card during the Bonus Round puzzle and select an additional vowel and be granted the extra vowel.
Does anyone know if there are actual official current (or past?) rules published somewhere?
Thanks!
Watching tonight’s episode and Tristiana failed to guess the toss up. Then as soon as more letters came out she pushed her button again and Ryan called on her and she guessed it correctly. When was the rule changed that you can continue to guess on toss ups after already trying..?
It seems like WOF switches from the old set and the new set.
Anybody?
Hey,
I had my second audition today, casting person seemed to really like me and my energy, when I mentioned meeting my boyfriend at trivia and watching the show with him she asked me about that. Then she asked me if I liked Disney, but didn’t ask anyone else that. Then I did the 16 puzzles didn’t do the greatest but not the worst either. She said she sends the tape to producers and that’s it if they have questions will get back to me. So my question is how long until I hear back? And is her asking me about my boyfriend and Disney a good sign?
Thanks!

A few things to note:
To a wheel of sausage
I like Seacrest, but gotta admit, I'm not a fan of the dramatic 40K reveals lol
Cuddly Puppy was bonus
Cutie patootie too
Does anyone know the breakdown of prize cards on the wheel? What percent is 40k?
The new guy has been looking especially fashionable. Ryan? Is that his name? I think he is doing a splendid job and I am happy he’s wearing ties. BUT the sweater over the shirt and tie looked extremely nice 👍🏻 I thought. Good job new guy 😉😁
Does anyone win with checking spin ID or entering these end of show contest?
