I got his yarn from Value Village and started making an Amigurumi project with it. But now, I will probably need more. Please help identify the brand and hopefully it’s not discontinued yet again. Thanks in advance for the help.
Got this one for free. Trying to make a dragon and probably going to run out. May be discontinued. Probably rhss
Hi 👋 I got this yarn on clearance from joanns maybe 6 or 7 years ago and have since lost the label. It was originally in cake form. Any guesses or help would be much appreciated thank you!!
I got this yarn probably 5ish years ago as a teen to try and learn to crochet but never did, it sat at my parents home for forever until I rediscovered it the other day. Unfortunately I have no clue about the weight or anything else but I most likely got it at a Michael's or Walmart, if that helps. It's pretty soft, the texture reminds me of Bernat blanket yarn but I tried to look for any Bernat yarn in this color and couldn't find much.
I got two bags of this yarn at Spotlight in New Zealand and am curious to know what it is, since it's very distinctive and looks unlike any yarn I've seen before (but I'm also relatively new to the yarn and fiber arts worlds). In real life, the purple looks more maroon. They also had another bag that looked like the same yarn in a colorway that was green with red flecks, if that helps. I'd appreciate any leads!
I threw away the label when I moved back to my home country. The original ball was a large skein.
FYI: I bought this in Korea. I looked at the website of the store where I found it but it wasn’t there anymore. My best guess is Merino Print Wool? But I’m not entirely sure that’s accurate.
Any help is appreciated!
What is this yarn please?? I got it a few years ago when I first learned to crochet & have no clue from where
I'm less interested in brand and more interested in how many yards I have. It burns like 100% acrylic, comes in at 11 or 12 wraps per inch, 12 yards per 10 grams, and reads as .4 oz on the scale (which is .05 off the standard conversion). The scale is not that sensitive, so I've either got 480 yards per pound or 550 yards per pound on a worsted weight/4/Medium yarn.
These skeins generally come in 7 or 8 ounce sizes. Does 240 yards in a skein of DK/worsted weight sound right? The comparable yarns I do have labels for have 481 yards per 8 ounces. Should I use that as a balance to the equation to find [x] yards per 4.7oz?
Cotton coiled around a nylon core, very soft and bouncy. Fingering weight, with a very slow gradient from pastel green to vibrant yellow.
