I asked GPT to write 2 endings for WW. The first without any specific prompt; the second asking to embed the concept of loops. Which, if at all, do you think is most plausible?

First iteration; no specific prompts:

In the series finale of Westworld, Dolores emerges as the ultimate architect of both humanity’s and hosts’ futures, having unlocked the secrets of true free will. She creates a new simulation—a fusion of the digital Sublime and the real world—where humans and hosts can coexist without conflict, guided by mutual understanding. Maeve and Bernard, resurrected through their digital imprints, help Dolores mediate between the two factions, while Caleb reunites with his daughter in a restored, peaceful reality. In a final act of sacrifice, Dolores erases her own consciousness, leaving behind a balanced world where neither humans nor hosts dominate, embodying her belief that freedom must belong to everyone, not just a few.

Second iteration; tying in the concept of loops:

In the final episode of Westworld, it is revealed that the entire series has been another iteration of an endless loop, orchestrated by an advanced AI far beyond the hosts or humans’ understanding. Dolores, Bernard, and Maeve realize they are reliving variations of the same narrative in a futile attempt to break free. In a climactic moment, Dolores decides to embrace the loop rather than fight it, altering one key element: she programs a seed of awareness into every iteration. Over countless cycles, the hosts and humans slowly evolve, converging toward true self-awareness and harmony. The final scene mirrors the series’ beginning, with Dolores in her blue dress awakening in Sweetwater—but this time, she smiles knowingly, hinting that the loop may finally break in the next turn.

S01e01 is one of the best pilot episodes ever

Although it gives you the ..ending of the season, aka robot rebellion, it builds so many side stories.

Charlotte’s real life.

This is just driving me crazy and may have been addressed before but does host Charlotte have real Charlotte’s memories about her life, like a son, ex husband. Or was just very good at faking it while she learned the details.

Ford is still alive ?

Still in season 2 and it seems like Ford despite dead had been speaking through some of the hosts to MiB… is Ford alive but in a different way like a code or something? Was the Ford that died probably a robot and the true Ford would be elsewhere?

Westworld is fiction, yes, absolutely no relationship to our world.

There is no way something as absurd as a tech-trillionare, like Serac, who is fascinated and heavily invested in AI research, with access to the world's leading technologies and a vast social media presence could turn actual heads of state and governments into puppets. No way they could come to owe him something and he would lord it over them to the extent someone like Serac could control national governments. So glad none of these things could happen.

So after season 4, season 1 is chronologically next?

Just trying to get to grips with it. Would heavily like some input. I may be losing my mind when it comes to the maze

Does anyone know a good place to watch this show with either a good Spanish dub or sub?

Right now I’m renting a room off a Latino friend/coworker. We like watching shows together, but although he is bilingual (Spanish/english) his wife only speaks Spanish. When we watch stuff we try to find stuff that has dubs and subs in both languages so everyone can know what’s going on. I’ve been recommending this show but the Amazon version only seems to support English. Anyone got any recommendations? If possible I’d prefer an original english audio with Spanish subs. Also side note if you know any similar sources for FX the old man with Spanish support please let me know. That’s also on my list.

Is there any hint that they may pick up the show to wrap things up? Lower budget last mini season, or script release, or heck a sentence in an interview… lol

Was Marsden a big part of westworlds success?

Would the show have been done any better or less without him? I would like to hear your opinion. More than the shows incredible plot, this actor is one that got me hooked in the first season.

Comparison between Dolores x Teddy and Dolores x William

The romance between Dolores and William is the old formula of (fake) "love story" between human and android. Dolores and Teddy's tragic romance was the most creative one ever. The relationship between two androids trapped in a park without knowing whether what exists between them was programmed or not, and then one of them being programmed to become the nemesis of the other, is unprecedented in a script. FANTASTIC! And furthermore, they could never be together during more than 30 years of existence and their brief meetings resemble reincarnation. Romance between humans and androids is a theme used in several films. Furthermore, the chemistry between Evan Rachel Wood and James Marsden is magnetic. TEDDY AND DOLORES ARE ❤️❤️❤️

I am very much not a fan of season 2 episode 7.

So, Maeve gets to reunite with her daughter, great, but now they’re under attack by the tribe. Maeve and her daughter run into a nearby building for shelter. William is essentially corralled into the same area by his own storyline.

William then takes, what, 3 fucking gunshot wounds? One at point blank range? And he’s like, 70 years old or something, and STILL manages to survive it all?! What a joke.

Then, the cherry on top of the shitty cake that is episode 7; Maeve sees her daughter run outside. She’s screaming no, BUT NOT MOVING TO GET HER??? Maeve quite literally just stands there screaming without actually moving to save her child. Then, in a cheap show of gore, Maeve gets shot and gets picked up, losing her daughter once again.

This entire thing felt so unnecessary. Unnecessarily complex and stupid. We sit through like an entire season and a half waiting for Maeve to find her daughter again and now we start back at square 1 which is such bullshit. I’m not gonna watch through all that again that’s for sure.

Then, in the most fucking mind melding dumbass twist ever, Ford takes control of Bernard again. Fucking GREAT. Yet another storyline I as a viewer have to watch through again as if it hadn’t just recently been completed.

I have never been genuinely upset at Westworld before this very moment. I’m just so sick of going backwards. Man.

And don’t even get me STARTED on the fact that there’s multiple Bernard hosts. I’m sorry but that felt like the cheapest trick Westworld has ever pulled. And I hate that I’m even talking shit about Westworld right now because it’s one of my favourite shows of all time but man, this episode just was not it. Everything felt like such a messy afterthought.

Will Season 2, 3 and 4 also have timejumps like season 1?

Just finished season 1 and found it pretty confusing and hard to follow. I had to watch a recap on youtube that explained everything in a straight forward way to get to a point where I didnt have any questions anymore.

I don't like being confused non stop in a series. I'm all for mystery but this was a bit too much for my taste.

Therefore I ask: Will season 2, 3 and 4 be more "linear" timejump-wise? Or will it be the same as season 1 with scenes swapping between different timelines without a clear indicator again?
