Can someone tell me about Sage Hills church? I’m relatively new to Wenatchee (about 2 years) and not at all religious. But, my son has friends who have invited him to attend Sage Hills with them and their families. I’ve seen news reports of sex abuse charges against the pastor as well as cult like activities. I can’t find any information regarding the outcome of the charges but obviously find them extremely concerning. Does anyone have any information? I’m very wary of religion in general but trying to let my son explore, but this sounds very frightening.
My neighbor's dog has been outside for hours and it's been dark for awhile now and the dog's barks are starting to sound sad and desperate to go inside. Is there a number or a specific agency I can call about this?
Because of recent events. Is there safe spaces for us? Alphabet mafia please give me heads up on how to meet more of my people in the area 💯🙌🔐
I dont mean political controversy over this whatsoever so please understand that.
I’m looking for a tattoo artist in the area who will make me feel comfortable getting a tattoo revolving around women’s rights? Not controversial. But I want to make sure I feel comfortable around here. I’ve only live in the area for less than a year.
Again not trying to start fights just genuinely asking.
Seeking wisdom/recommendations for Wenatchee area structural engineers, floors are sagging in part of my abode and I have ignored it for a couple of years because I was #verypoor after closing. (Thankfully, the internet confirmed that my house wouldn't fold in like a deck of cards).
Anyways, if you have someone you know or have worked with someone that kicked ass I would appreciate intel. Please and thank you!
Hey all, I’m considering applying for membership with the country club. Before I do so, if anyone is a member themselves, is it worth the cost? What are the typical assessment fees per year?
Folks are starting to speak out and push back against Grace City Church Pastor Josh McPherson's recent voting guide for Christians and rampant lying about American history.
After conflicting reports, I have decided to ask the source- Wenatchee locals. Is it true you get 300 days of sunshine? What is the weather like from Thanksgiving to May?
Not affiliated in any way, just noticed them for the first time on the loop by the statue at the base of 5th St. they have great breakfast sandwiches, ice cream, baked goods and homemade soups. They’ve been open for two months and are in that crucial phase of building a customer base.
Our food was all made fresh for the order and the prices were about what food used to cost two years ago. So, $8 for a good sandwich with grapes and a cookie, as opposed to $15+ most places these days.
Go give them some support if you use the Apple Loop trail!
Looking for a photographer for family photos. Hoping to pay reasonable and not spend half a mortgage. Any suggestions or recommendations in the valley?
Looking to find a place in town where I can buy a new pair of work boots, and most importantly try them on. Any good spots?
Hi! I just picked up roller skating and I'm looking for places to practice near Wenatchee/ East Wenatchee. I know it's not the ideal season, but I'm still hoping to get in some outdoor practice before the snow hits. Also gathering ideas for spring.
Do you know of any fairly open, flat spaces that would be good for skating? Ideas could be... parking lots that are mostly empty, tennis courts where I wouldn't be too in the way, some other large paved area? Keep in mind that I'm a brand new skater and don't do well with large cracks or bumps.
I've thought about the confluence trail, but I'd like to practice in a more open area by myself first.
I'm also aware of the skating rink in soap lake and hope to make a trip there sometime.
Thanks!
We’re lucky to have so many great parks around here. What’s your favorite? I really like Rotary - they’ve really fit a lot into the space. How about you?
Are there any areas around Badger MTN where we can snowshoe or pull a partially paralyzed adult on a plastic sled.kids will be snowboarding and the adults need something to do. One has some paralysis.
$100 bucks. It’s up near mission ridge. Maybe 50ft tall tree
Hey y'all. I live in the 2500 block of NW Cascade in East Wenatchee and my cat recently got out yesterday. If you find him or even see him please contact me at andre.hopkins05 on Instagram. Sorry if that last part breaks the "No Advertising" or Posting Personal Info part but I am just very concerned as he is a very afraid cat who's never gotten out before.
EDIT: I am willing to give a $50 cash reward to anyone who can get him home safe. Thank you.
UPDATE: He has been found.
I have been scouring the rental ads like crazy and i am beginning to lose my mind. i find a rental that says it’s pet friendly, there’s a weight limit. i find one with no weight limit and a reasonable pet deposit, the rent listed in the ad is a lie it’s actually $300 more. CAN SOMEONE EXPERIENCED IN RENTING AND FINDING RENTALS PLEASE GIVE ME SOME RECOMMENDATIONS ON WHERE TO LOOK? i just need a 1 bedroom that allows large dogs AND a cat that IS NOT $1600-2000 a month
And it's packed full of bogus history and rightwing political misinformation and conspiracy theories.
I just had the best experience at the South Mission Jiffy Lube. Got my brake pads & rotors replaced, and my engine oil changed on Sunday. Amazing customer service and good prices. Check it out.
Just looking to have a few bundles inside for my stove.
Any fun Halloween parties happening tonight? Feeling festive 🎃
Is there apple pressing in wanatchee? Apple capitol of the country?
If you would like a shot at a gigantimax Pokemon please go to rotary park
I have a 24" high floor safe, but don't know the combination. I'm lookin for someone to come to my place and open it.
NCWLife did a thing. apparently stuff is getting uncouth at the college.
I’m looking for a gym that offers classes where I can also socialize and meet with people around my age (in their 20s and 30s). I was looking into the WRAC, but from what I been told the crowd there is closer to 60s. Just wondering if anyone knows any good places? Maybe younger folks just don’t like these class workouts.
I live in south Wenatchee, along the Alcoa-Malaga highway. What is the most convienent spot?
Make sure to vote everybody! And good luck to your candidate of choice :)
