A question I’ve never seen posed anywhere, but one I ponder from time to time. Would love to hear people’s thoughts. Thanks!
Hello, my friend, brother, and father in law are coming down from Canada this weekend for some golf and football game vs. UCLA. Leaving our car at Grange Fair.
Just wondering if there’s any recommendations of a tailgate we can pay to join to eat and drink a bit. Or if we’re nomads and keep walking around if there’s a place near the stadium to restock beers and maybe some food?
Lastly, is there a place for those that do not have a car and are not students (no home base per se) to go for a good tail gate?
Thank you in advance.
Edit.
Thank you all for the quick responses. It is very much appreciated. For sure we’ll have a good time wandering in some PSU apparel and chanting “WE ARE”.
Thanks again.

Me and a couple of my buddies are planning on going to the whiteout game on Nov 9, we’re from Canada so we’re gonna need a place to stay, was wondering what your guy’s recommendations are, because the Air b and b prices are ridiculous.
I’m bringing the family up this weekend and it’s my teenage daughters’ first game! We were hoping for a white out but we bought the tix way before the themes were announced.
Now that it’s a noon game, our original plan of campus exploration (creamery, statue, old main) etc have been moved until after the game.
My question is this: how crowded are the restaurants usually? Do people tend to stick around in town? What are your experiences with restaurants after noon games?
Thanks!
Buckeye fan coming in peace. Plan on attending the game first Saturday in November. Have a place to stay about 20 minutes from campus. Curious to hear recommendations on where to park. Ticketmaster is selling for $80 a piece so trying to avoid that. Are there other options? Also, what bars or restaurants should we try to go to?
Appreciate the insight and very much looking forward to seeing the best atmosphere in sports.

See link. A lot to take away here, but the main eye-catcher (to me, anyway) was how for the first time this defense resembled Manny Diaz's defense from 2022 and 2023, especially on 3rd down. Codutti called it "Radar" but it appeared to be the same DNA as Manny's "Prowler package" -- jumbled, confusing mess at the line...four DBs stacked at the first down marker giving the appearance of man when it's actually zone. Have to wonder if that was Allen's doing or if the plan all along was to restore some of Manny's philosophies...because this 3rd down stuff is nowhere to be found on Allen's Indiana film.

Interesting look into some unique offensive line formations from Saturday and the thought process into doing them.
I will be coming to Happy Valley for the Ohio State Penn State game and couldn't find accommodations in State College so I am wondering how far I should be looking at booking a hotel. Coming from Buffalo what city should I be looking at that's not too far of a drive in the morning and after the game. I have been looking at Dubois, Clearfield and Philipsburg as options. Also, would love any recommendations to make my day in Happy Valley a memorable one.
Thanks in advance

Me and my wife will be watching the game in Waikiki! Come join!
Searched through older posts to find an answer but most everything I found was referring to overnight RV parking. If doing RV parking but showing up the morning of the game, are there lots other than the overnight RV lot that can be used or does it have to be that one? Cheapest I can find on resale sites for the overnight lot is a little north of $1000 for the Ohio State game on Nov 2nd and obviously want to avoid that if there is any way to, thanks
See link. We, like a lot you, were surprised how 'non-vanilla' Kotelnicki's play-calling was on Saturday given the caliber of opponent...so that's what we had coach look into - formations, motion, design, in-game evolution of certain looks. Personally, he said he's more of a 'keep things under wraps' kind of guy until the exotic stuff isneeded, but that Kotelnicki is the opposite (obviously). He also mentioned there's a good chance we see ZERO of the stuff we saw on Saturday vs. Illinois, UCLA and USC and that all this was nothing more than time-wasting bait that defensive staffs at Illinois and USC now have to acknowledge.
