Can I shoot my compound bow in my backyard?

I live in Waukesha County, not in the city and was wondering if it's legal for me to shoot my bow in my backyard. I would only be target practicing.

My house has about 1.5 acres of backyard, and I have a compound bow.

Some good ol' Waukesha history. Bottle of Clysmic spring water, bottled at the Clysmic spring in Waukesha, Wisconsin and shipped all across the country from 1878 to 1919. The one that I have here was likely made and bottled around 1915, towards the end of the springs era.

Fellow Waukesha Co. residents...please drive safe and defensively in the mornings. There are ZERO reasons there should be accidents on 94E every morning. Take a few extra minutes, go the speed limit, and pay attention to what’s around you. Thank you, and have a great Monday!

Wedding Venue

Just got engaged! Fiance and I are looking, searching, hunting for unique wedding venues within 30 minutes of our church, St. Anthony's on the lake, and can't seem to find the perfect fit. Any suggestions would be great! Really want something different and "under the radar."

LOST CAT in Sussex

EDIT: Apollo is home safe and sound! We found him last night 1/2 mile north of home. He was gone for 24 days total.

Our cat, Apollo, went missing on Saturday night from our residence in Sussex. Apollo slipped out of the house around 11:30 Saturday night, when we arrived home for the evening. Photos of Apollo can be found here: http://imgur.com/a/vEPIB

Apollo is gray with dark gray stripes, a white underside, and white paws, with white markings around his eyes that look like mascara. He has a bump on his left ear, which can be seen clearly in one of the photos. Apollo typically loves people and is very friendly. He is 5 years old. He's a tall cat (long legs and tail) and is slim but muscular. A neighbor we spoke to was fairly certain he'd seen Apollo Monday morning, so we are hopeful that he's just out on an adventure.

My husband and I are extremely anxious to get Apollo back. Please reply if you see a cat matching his description, or even if you've got tips or tricks for us to try out. Thanks!

What we've tried already:

  • Set out moist food, dry food, and water.
  • Set out a blanket he likes to sleep on.
  • Set out some of his favorite toys.
  • Put used kitty litter out in various places in the yard to lure him in with the scent of him and our other two cats.
  • Set up a live motion sensor feed of our yard, that alerts us immediately if it detects motion.
  • Posted flyers in local businesses and handed flyers out to nearby neighbors.
  • Contacted multiple humane societies, our vet, the police department, the microchip company, and others.
  • Borrowed a humane live trap from the humane society; baited it with some of his favorite food.
  • Hung some of our dirty clothes outside to get our scent out there. Our neighbors will think we're crazy.

Best spot to take dog swimming?

So I just moved here about a month ago. We've been exploring the parks and lakes and trails a bit, but haven't found a good spot to just let our dog swim in the lakes. She won't jump in so needs a kind of beachy area or ramp, but it seems a lot of places like that don't allow dogs.

Any suggestions?
