I recently went to the ArenaBowl game with the Valor, and holy cow I had a good time. It almost shocks me how underrated this sport is, I prefer Basketball over Football because of the pacing of it, but Arena Football is literally a cross between the two, sort of.
Tickets were so cheap too, what a shame. (I mean, it’s a good thing for us.)
Cheers to another mysterious season! 💪
Valor win by a score of 69-55.
I have 4 extra tickets that I ended up not needing (Sect 227, Row A). If you're interested let me know!
They will play Baltimore next Saturday at 7 PM. Game will be on CBSSN.
My ticket rep gave me a few extra Party Zone tickets for the Valor game tomorrow night (Friday June 29th). These tickets are standing room all inclusive (food, beer, wine) behind the end zone. They're usually $49, but I'm willing to sell the 4 extra I have for $25/each. If interested let me know.
Anyone know if the home opener is still happening? A potential Caps game 5 is listed for the same day.
The TV listing for Friday's Washington Valor at Baltimore Brigade game has been pulled. ArenaFan.com reports that no arena football games will be on NBC Sports Washington this year. Any games not on CBS Sports Network will be on Monumental Sports Network & the AFL's platform.
With the win against the brigade , the valor can sneak into the playoffs. They need a little help, but can do it.
Next week the Valor need a win against Cleveland and some help from Philly. This would put us at 3-10 and Baltimore at 4-9, setting up a play in game.
The follow week we would then play Baltimore for a play in game. Winning would put both teams at 4-10 , but Washington would hold the tie breaker by winning the season series 3-4.
So really this starts with DC winning out. If we drop next week against Cleveland it's over. While Baltimore did sneak out a win against Philly, it would be stunning to see them pull it off a second time.
While the chance of post season success is low, it would he a great way to finish the season and leave a good taste in our mouths moving into year two.
Man what else does this dude have to do?! QB goes down, in steps the next starter for this franchise for the future. AND WE STILL CANT GET A STOP!!! 41 should be enough to be in the ballgame. These teams are not that much better than us!! We've got the pieces to move ball, but where the hell are the pieces to stop it??
D.C. fan who lives out of market. I'd love to be able to watch the games. What are my options? I'm in Philly so when they play the Soul I'll be ok but other than that what do?
