Most common solution for Wart removal is Duct Tape and Salicylic Acid or ACV(Apple cider vinegar).

19, Male. Sexually active. Got it yesterday morning. It was smaller.
I have had a few plantar warts on the bottom of my feet and a large wart under my big toe nail for 10+ years. I have tried everything from duct tape, ACV, over the counter acid, multiple podiatrist visits, beetle juice, you name it. Nothing worked. I finally gave up and just accepted the fact that I would have these for the rest of my life.
A month ago I needed new body wash, and I picked up Dr. Teals with epsom salt and I carried on with my daily routine. After not worrying about my warts for a month or so, I decided to check them out and they were 95% GONE. The only change in my routine was adding in Dr. Teals!
This stuff is a life saver. I wish I would’ve tried this out sooner!
I’ve been treating the wart with anti wart products for a few weeks now and it was working until a few days ago, when it was really painful to walk after I put the medicine on it and then it turned black yesterday so I put tape on it and woke up to this after I saw that the tape looked bloody…
We've been treating her wart for about two weeks now, applying Wart Off solution each night & covering with waterproof bandaids. Yesterday at the beach it started bleeding, I think the kite string she was holding may have pressed/cut into it as she flew a kite with my dad. We cleaned it up, sprayed alcohol and covered it again. It's just looking so red and raw, not sure if this is normal appearance as it goes through the process? It used to have a top layer that peeled itself off. We haven't been debriding at all since she won't let us and says it's sore.
Have had these for a few months, and wanted some confirmation. Always been anxious about it, and have been keeping on top of my health to mitigate any more from developing if ever. Took shots for Gardasil already just to prevent other strains.
unfortunately don't have a before photo. really went in and used cuticle clippers + soluver plus to remove a small wart, but now skin that was damaged is raised like a bump (you can kind of see the outline in the pic). should I start debriding?
It's on the inside of my pinky toe I'm pretty sure it's a wart but don't know what. Will it go away on its own or is there something I should do about it?
I have a few warts on my hands that have been resistant to 19 percent salicylic acid and OTC freezing. I've been using a nail clipper to cut any hard skin off, cleaning the clipper with IPA in between uses. The clipper caused bleeding though and now I realize that probably caused the warts to grow since the virus got into new blood vessels that were previously infected during a single session.
I just had my first cryotherapy session at a dermatologist. I've been instructed to keep doing the SA and to debride with an emery board in between usage of the SA.
But then I've heard that using the same emery board can contaminate surrounding skin?
How do you debride in a way that doesn't make matters worse?
I started to develop a bump at the top of my middle finger about a month ago. My boyfriend immediately said that’s a wart because of the little black dots that started appearing the center of it I’ve frozen it. I’ve tried gel. Tried the bandages. Soaked it and softened it up and used a public stone to scrape off any dead surrounding skin. This one just won’t come off. I’m starting tot think I need to go to a dermatologist? It’s starting to hurt and become extremely sensitive whenever I touch or grab anything.
Okay I have a thumb wart, I’ve had it for two years and I finally got nitrogen treatments for it. There’s a blister forming underneath the wart since the latest treatment, and it’s sore. Do I just leave this? What are the consequences if I hypothetically ripped it off??
Hello
i’ve got 3 stubborn warts on my foot which simply never go, i’ve had nearly a year of acid, then laser, and then SWIFT, but they’re still there
I simply cannot afford to splash this much on treatment indefinitely, so does anyone know how i can acquire cantharidine to this end? Podiatrists just don’t cut them out anymore
I previously had a small crescent moon shape cluster of plantar warts on my toe - got them 'microwaved' off to good success a couple of years ago.
Noticed a couple of specks on the skin - not exactly similar, but not different. I pared it back and applied salicylic last night - here’s what I’m left with. Anything to see here?
Have now applied a salicylic sticker over the red dot.
I know its not over yet, i can still see some wart but i was wondering if the fact that my wart is no longer painful or bleeding a sign that i am getting closer to reaching normal skin?
Bedsheets, towels, shoes, yoga mat... What am I supposed to do? I keep finding divided information, including
-dont worry about it, HPV is everywhere and impossible to get rid of
-burn everything and buy new
-wash and dry on hot
-pour bleach on everything
-spray Lysol on everything
Is there a risk of reinfection from these items? Is it better safe than sorry? I'm not sure what to do here.
