Hey y'all so I exclusively use monthly passes for public transport and hence I never have to take out my wallet unless I really have to... except for opening metro gates. It's the ONE reason I have to. Is there any dummy QR code that can open these gates?
These gates serve no purpose anyway. Just let people enter and leave in peace the same as buses and trams. If anything, removing the gates allow the city to fine unsuspecting tourists MORE often
Hi all, I've recently moved to Warsaw and was wondering what are the rules of parking around residential areas.
Specifically, in my case, the apartment block has a small parking area behind it with a sign "only for residents". I'm obviosuly registered here so I am a resident but how does that get associated with my car? If authorities come, how would they be able to verify that the car is associated to me, a "resident".
Hi Reddit. I am considering renting an apartment near "Westfield Arkadia" shopping center, and I am interested in the opinion of people who live near the railway or near "Warszawa Gdańska".
I am talking about follwoing streets: "al. Jana Pawła II", "Ludwika Rydygiera", "Rafała Krajewskiego" or close to them.
How noisy is it there, especially at night? And in general, how comfortable is it for you to live there?
hi, if there are any international students studying at SWPS, bachelor’s in psychology specifically, please please reach out to me!! i have a few questions about the university, program etc. it’ll be a great help!
Hello guys. I am not Polish but was looking at an internship opening in Warsaw. In the application form, it asks me for the minium expected amount of salary I want. What should I put there? 8000 zloty? My area of expertise is Electrical engineering with semiconductor focus, they might pay as much as software intern, but I have no idea. Thanks
Edit: I only put 8k because that's what I initially saw as a possible intern salary. It's a really big company you will have heard about.
Hi,
I'm looking for a spot where I could buy a packet of pan di stelle in Warsaw, thanks for help!

I want to learn how to shoot a gun. Which shooting range/ gun range would be best for that? One with good quality without it being overly expensive.
Me and my partner are looking for some cool/unique places to visit together. Something like Cybermachina, Zagrywki, muzeum flipperów or museum of vodka Koneser, where we can go and spent some time and have fun. Doesn’t have to be a bar, we’re also looking for museums or any other types of venues to visit, except clubs, which we don’t like going to.
Cześć wszystkim!

Hello everyone,
I did search the subreddit and could not find any posts that answer my question directly.
I am looking for spots around the city (all of Warsaw), where I can find different kinds of scarves (preferably plain ones with no threads or anything similar on the edges). Any local spot recommendations that are more hidden are welcome, but I am open to all possible options.
Preferably within the affordable price range (Max. 150 zł for something top notch). I’m eyeing scarves I could wrap around my head as a Babushka or so, so the material integrity and structure is important to me. Something made of either warm Cotton, Kashmir, Wool, etc.
I have found shops around the metro stations (Ratusz Aresenał and Dwozec Centralny), but I am certain there are more spots around the city, any leads would be appreciated.
So I am going to study for 6 months in warsaw and was wondering if there are any good/cheap gym memberships you guys could recommend me. I'll be living not far away from Lotnisko Chopina (the closer the better).
So I left this house over a month ago. And this landlord as I have heard from ex tenants didn’t give them their deposit back. And now he doesn’t answer my calls or texts. Tho we have a contract that stats the deposit is refundable. And I am afraid if I sue him is going to drain me with expenses and lawyers. So I am kinda in a state of not knowing what to do ? Hopefully somebody might have an idea that could help. Thank you
Hi guys.
I am looking forward to study at a university in Poland or Vienna or Prague.
I have been learning German for a year now in a reckless tempo. Rn I have like B1. In half a year I’m going to study economics or BA somewhere in Europe.
I’ve been to all of the three cities. Which is the better one to live as an immigrant in your opinion? Could you find a job in English only in Warsaw, for example?
You opinion is very valuable for me.
Hi, all! I am planning to meet a friend who lives in Pułtusk. I have never been there before. I tried looking up on the internet but couldn’t find any help. Any leads are helpful!
Hey Warsaw foodies, I'm on the hunt for the best mala dishes in the city - looking for that authentic numbing and spicy (麻辣) sensation with complex, layered flavors. Any recommendations for restaurants that do it right? Bonus points if they have proper Sichuan peppercorns for that genuine mouth-numbing experience.
Hey, can you guys recommend any universities for getting an easy degree preferably in a field of marketing? I’m choosing between WSB, Vistula, Lazarski, SGH. I need some level of education but I don’t want to be fully drawn to the university in addition to my working plans. Would be grateful to hear your advices and recommendations:)
Someone dumped a pile of break in a forest and it was reported in a German tabloid newspaper lol - Nieporęt
Hi All, Can you please advise on good lawyer? Before my divorce I’ve moved out from my aggressive ex. It’s been 1,5y ago, we’re finally divorced. I think about property settlement as it’s hard to pay for rent and half of the mortgage for the house my ex stayed in. During divorce my ex was aggressive in the court, writing bull shit in his statements. Therefore I need a lawyer that can cope with my ex screaming, cursing e.tc. Thanks!
Any recommendation for a dentist for good service with good price? It's for root canal and crown. It is over USD 4000+ in my area with insurance. I think it will be cheaper to send her on a vacation to Warsaw enjoy spending time with her family, while getting a cheaper dental.
I was wondering what option is best for car rental. I want to rent a car for 4 days and through booking.com there are some deals which let me rent a car for 4 days for 20€ which sounds too good to be true tbh. Would you recommend renting a car or is public transport better? Also is there bolt drive (car sharing service) in Warsaw? Used it in other places such as Lithuania and Berlin and really enjoyed this type of service.
