Hey guys,
I'm flying into Chopin during the afternoon of the 25th of December with my flight departing at around 10 the next day from Chopin. I'm worried about the transportation situation so could anyone let me know if the trains will be open during my stay?
Thanks
Do people know what this alarm is for ? And what do to if you hear this alarm..
I got no clue..
Hello!
I will be going to Poland soon. Unfortunately, I only have 1.5 days in Warsaw... On the first day, I’ll be visiting the Royal Castle and some other sites in the city. However, for my second day, I’m trying to decide which of the other palaces to choose: Muzeum Łazienki Królewskie OR Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów.
I have other things going on that day so don’t have time for both places.
Note that I will be visiting Łazienki Park either way (whether or not I go inside the museum) early in the morning, and I have a concert at Wilanów (entry only to the Sala Biała, not the rest of the palace). So I'll be going to both areas. But in terms of expositions, halls/rooms, displays, etc. which would you say is more interesting?
Hi Everyone, I will be visiting Warsaw for a week this November . However, I need recommendations for the very "best" lounges, bars, clubs, with a very nice atmosphere & vibe to "meet matured people". I am 38(M) , visiting from Switzerland.
My music preference are : bassanova, house, techno, trance, jazz, 90's hiphop.
Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
Also, are there any websites that I can check for social events in Warsaw? Thank you all for your recommendations. I really appreciate!
I have a 9 hour layover in Warsaw coming up. Is that enough time to see the city? And if so, what are your top 1-2 things?
Alternatively, are there accessible lounges in the Warsaw airport to be able to enjoy a comfortable space and potentially have a shower? Any other airport tips would be so appreciated!
I’m flying in from the U.S. so I’ll be a bit tired but can push through!
Hi everyone :) I am a Maltese citizen from Malta with a valid European driving license.
I have been in contact with one of the representatives via phone and they specifically asked for an international driving license. I have called the Polish Embassy of Malta and they agreed with my statement that since both countries are in the EU, I do not require an international driving license.
Also anyone had any experiences with this company?
Thankyou
Hi everyone, can you recommend any bars where they would show basketball Euroleague games today, or can put it on if I ask? Preferably places where it would be safe for a woman to go alone. Thank you.
My friend comes over for a day, and I am looking for some tables that could be reserved indoors today and that provide the ball and the rackets, preferably without the need to acquire some sports club card
Hi guys! I'm coming to Poland soon and I'm meeting people in Poznan. Only flight I could get was landing in Warsaw Chopin Airport.
My question is. I land at 8am. How feasible do you think it is to go straight from the airport to Warsaw Central Station to catch a train to Poznan? If I book the train for 2pm or something, is that enough time to get through security, grab some lunch, walk around a bit before catching my train? I don't want to book a hotel if I can avoid it. Thanks!
Edit: thank you to all of you who have helped! I can see a strong consensus thag i should have enough time.
I have Australian passport and ill have one checked luggage. Does that impact it? Not sure how i feel about roaming Warsaw old town with a suitcase.
Hello I live in the United States I recently got my Polish dual citizenship.
I’m wondering how I can easily trade the Warsaw stock exchange now that I have a Polish passport.
Thanks.
Hello!
We are MiauKotki, a small group who got together to save cats in need from all over the city. Our mission is rescuing cats from the streets, forests and other unsafe conditions, providing healthcare and finding homes. In the last few weeks we managed to find forever homes for over 15 cats, and catch many more, who currently reside in an apartment we are renting in Bielany or foster homes.
We sacrifice a lot of our own time to help them, but we don’t have enough funds. We have to pay rent for the apartment, so they can have a safe, warm place to wait for their loving forever homes, we have to pay for food, litter and vet visits.
We would greatly appreciate any help, including
Currently, we have 3 main fundraisers

Thank you in advance for help in any form.
I’m attaching a few pictures if you want to see some of our rescues <3
I know about many events in clubs, but we were planning to spend some time with the kids
Hi there, student living in Warsaw for 2 months or less here. In the student accomodation there are no pans, pots, dishes or anything or the sort. I don’t like the idea of buying everything new since I can’t bring them back and it would be a huge waste, do you have any recommendations about places where I can buy second-hand kitchen equipment or even better, rent it? Thanks in advance!
Does anybody know when Warsaw will start decorating for Christmas? I'm returning to the USA at the end of November and am hoping to see some decorations before I leave. When will everything be done and the lights be on by?
Thanks

After nearly two decades in the making, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw finally opened last week.
With the initial concept dating back to 2005 and groundbreaking in 2019, I was surprised to find the space so empty at its launch.
With such a long timeline, I’d expected it to be filled with the best, most innovative, and thought-provoking pieces from Poland's contemporary art scene.
Some great peices there (in my opinion) and the building is impressive (in my opinion).
Does anyone know why the museum wasn’t full of incredible exhibitions?
Are there any future plans to showcase more of Poland's modern art?
I know for a fact that in my home country (Italy) is extremely hard for any foreigners that don't speak Fluent Italian and don't look like Italians to rent a home.
How hard is for foreigners in Poland to rent a house?I work for my own business, and I am not employed in Poland, family of 5 (3 kids and 2 dogs).Should we hire a Polish lawyer to contact real estate agents on our behalf to increase credibility and the possibility of getting accepted for a rental house?
Will I get in trouble if I undergo a blood work/test for different medical reasons other than smoking or dr*g tests and they find thc?
Hi everyone!
I have just moved to Warsaw from the UK.
I am interested in casual weightlifting and indoor bouldering and so I'll likely get a separate gym membership for each.
I have some questions about common gym courtesy:
Also, if anyone has gym recommendations that would be super useful. I am looking for something close to the centre and budget will not be a problem. Things like sauna/swimming would be a big plus.
Thanks!
I’m looking for some recommendations on where to take my boyfriend for his birthday. I was thinking of taking him on a couples spa/massage type of situation and I’m looking for some recommendations. Help would be extremely appreciated! Also if anyone has better ideas for an activity we can do on his birthday instead of the message I’m very open to ideas.
Hello, I want to join a boxing club. I want to spend all of my free hours going to a boxing gym. Is there somewhere here where I can seriously get into boxing?
hi guys! i’m a student looking for an affordable gym membership and stumbled across a website called beactive. on the site it seems that with a beactive card i can gain access to lots of different gyms in warsaw and the price is also very affordable, they have a deal right now 6 months for only 389zl. i’ve been looking at other gym prices and comparing to everything else i’ve found this deal seems too good to be true, so i just wanted to come on here and ask if anyone has any experience with it and how is it for you? all responses are really appreciated and thank you for your time :)
Just visiting here for a few days with some friends, and we really wanna visit some sort of market, or plaza with carts. Specifically, cheap merch and football shirts.
Is there any special place that we should visit?
Thanks!❤️🤍
I'm looking to connect with any concert organizing groups in Warsaw to bring an artist to make a queer-friendly event! dziękuję

Help me choose my trip!
Okay so, i am trying to plan a three day trip with my boyfriend (im Dutch hes Belgian) in december, either to Warsaw or Helsinki, and i am not sure which to choose… we first considered Helsinki but one of my friends said it would be too small for three whole days, so we added Warsaw into the mix. One of my boyfriend’s coworkers then said we should skip Warsaw altogether so now we dont know where to go… we want to visit museums, eat and shop and just walk around and explore the city! any help or recommendations would be much appreciated!
Hello everyone,
I hope you are doing fine, could you please give me an approximate idea about the salary for a mid level software engineer in Warsaw?
What would be a good gross salary to be able to live "normally" and save few bucks?
Thank you in advance!
