Waratahs training session

Just saw them setting up at Matraville sports high. And saw them training at Randwick Boys High (the field looked amazing) last week! Wonder why!?

2018 Waratahs season

Not getting to excited but much better improvement than last year at least. The basic ball skills need more work and so does defensive structures. The mentality seems to be much improved.

Are there any club sevens teams that play regularly in NSW?

I really want to play sevens but all I can find in NSW are one off tournaments where only registered rugby clubs can enter.

Anyone know if there are teams you can join that play only sevens and regularly? Or even a tournament that I could enter with a couple of mates and not be affiliated with a rugby club?

American visiting Sydney looking to go to a Waratahs match

I am going to be in Sydney for work between 1May2014 and 7May2014. I was hoping somebody could give me some information on how to go about getting tickets for the Waratahs v Hurricanes match on Sat 3 May at Allianz Stadium. I found this website to purchase tickets in advance. What section would you suggest I purchase seats in? I am familiar with AFL, but i know this is a much different sport. Any advice you have for a first every Rugby match?

Folau out for Sharks match, what changes need to be made?

First of all, I feel moving Beale to 15 and Horne to 12 is the worst possible move. This is how I'd lay out my backline:

  1. Phipps
  2. Foley
  3. Crawford
  4. Beale
  5. Ashley Cooper
  6. Betham
  7. Lucas

I feel we need more kicking options especially against SA opposition
