I just wanted to say, I’m beyond thrilled that this and similar subs are up,and running full speed ahead. I’m sure most of you have noticed the complete and total leftist slant of Reddit (kinda hard to miss😆), and these Demoncrats are going full speed ahead too, working their tails off, to win this election. It wouldn’t matter if Mickey Mouse were running, that’s just a formality to them getting that foot in the door, then owning the door, and attempting to shut it forever. I’m really not sure how a nation became so divided and just plain a total wreck, but I do know they’ll do their level best to make things even worse. The common man/woman will wonder what in the world they voted for, after all is said and done, which is probably why we’re having the such success changing so many minds, because they remember who they voted for in 2020. Their disastrous border policies have created a crisis for Americans, and now, in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, those rebuilding their lives are paying the price. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas revealed that FEMA has allocated over $1 billion to a migrant assistance program over the past two fiscal years, leaving disaster relief funds dangerously depleted. As rescue and recovery efforts continue across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee, FEMA is running out of cash, with more storms on the horizon. Even worse, the majority of FEMA’s resources and personnel have been diverted to address migrant issues instead of aiding the Americans who need help now.

Calling graphic artists for a holiday-season project for r/Walkaway and sister sub r/ExDemocrats (details within)
Mods are considering launching a collective holiday card on the sub, so that our community members can share good words and well wishes to each other during the upcoming Thanksgiving through New Year's holiday season. It's a heartbreaking time of the year when family members reject those who have left the left or Democratic Party, losing the ability to get with family during the holidays if they have been ostracized for their beliefs.
If we have enough artists in the community, we could run a competition on making an original holiday card artwork, and let the community vote on 2024's official greeting card.
I'd just like to share these general details in this post and really get your feedback and ideas on this in the comments, so we can develop the idea together and make it a real community collaborative idea and project that we would do annually.
