Like a Freshman or Sophmore in HIGH SCHOOL. That's like KINDERGARTEN TO 10TH GRADE, AT MAX. 11 Years in school... If you been to school that long, you're sure to have learned some things like Math, English, and Reading.

I refuse to believe you can't read stuff like Milk, Bread, Eggs, etc... BASIC WORDS YOU LEARN IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!

• More On The Education: Projects that gives you directions and the steps. Imma also add a GPS in when driving but the theme is DIRECTIONS. If you can read steps for a science experiment or steps for an easy, you can read "Please Remove The Card", YOU AIN'T GONNA TRICK ME

I asked a couple weeks ago to get off for a couple of days since family who I havent seen in 6 and a half years is coming to visit me and i wouldnt be home… i got off everyday besides tomorrow (monday) and I was also told by my coach that they dont give alot of unpaid time off (quite annoying as a minor who doesnt really have a choice when it comes to not being home ectect) but anyways i am not able to work tomorrow due to being so far away from home… i have 4 hours of ppto and my shift is 5hours with the scheduled in 1hour lunch on the app… (would be 30 mins but yk) is there a way i can use the ppto to only get a half point? So I have been at Walmart for a year now in OPD. A week ago I injured my foot pretty severely and I went to the doctor for an xray but they found nothing so they referred me to another doctor for an MRI. I am unable to walk on my foot and was given a boot and crutches. I called out yesterday so now I am at 4.5 points. Hi y'all, I do service desk at my store and had one of my daily/ training questions come up that I would like to find something on the wire to confirm.

Basically it states that if a store were to be caught refunding snap/EBT items without a receipt we would be out of compliance and fined and/or made to leave the program. My SM has a really bad habit of 'taking care of the customer' without knowing these things, so I'd like to be able to print and post the page so when he tries to have us do it we can show him why that's not a good idea.

I've tried a couple different searches but haven't found anywhere stating we could lose the program. Any help is much appreciated!

I've been wanting to post on here a while now, just been so busy with work, my kids, and I'm enrolled in college part time. This morning though I'm aggravated and close to calling ethics on the people lead and a associate I work with. Back story I work in claims, I have been in this department over two years now I've been with Walmart almost three years. In my department its myself, my claims team lead, the girl who works in DSD, and recently we have a fourth claims associate. The original girl in dsd had taken a leave of absence for medical reasons so while she was out on leave it was just myself and my team lead. The fourth girl was a team lead for upfront, but she was demoted so they moved her back to claims with us temporarily until the girl came back from leave she was supposed to go to stocking one when she came back. But because our fourth girl is so close with the people lead (so close she calls her mom) she opened up a whole entire new position back for her in our department when the other girl came back from leave, so now she's permanent. My issue is the girl who is close to the people lead calls in constantly, at least twice a month but somehow never gets pointed and next week my hours were cut. I have worked 40 hours since I started in this position 2 years ago, I never call in but somehow mine are the ones who are cut not hers. If we don't have the hours for a fourth claims associate shouldn't she just removed from our department? But she won't because how close she is to the people lead, might I add this girl is in a red on coaching because how lazy she is. I needed to vent because how pissed off Iam, I'm the one who needs the money but I get punished in the end just because I'm not a suck up. Oh and to top it off she called in again, TODAY

What other stores have their event merchandise staged outside in the lawn and garden center? Unless my store is the only one stupid enough to do it

So back in August I got Covid and I told them, and they said not to worry about it, but my symptoms dragged on for awhile, and my leave to Sedgwick wasn’t approved because I hadn’t worked at Walmart long enough, and I got let go for “job abandonment” because I didn’t call, since my coach told me not to worry about it.

So I have a couple of questions, I just applied to another Walmart and they gave me a call saying they’d love to have me, and wanted to schedule an orientation. Is this normal? Also if I go through with it and accept the offer, what are the odds they rescind it? Also can they see if I previously worked at Walmart, I accidentally applied with an account that was different than the one I applied to the other Walmart with. What are my odds of actually getting this job?

I'm an overnight stocker and have been on the job for 4.5 months now and I'm having an issue with one of my managers.

She never talks to me with respect. It started out of nowhere like 2 months ago. She always raises her voice at me and speaks with condensation. She always expects me to do things or know things I was never taught or told to do in the past, and it is always like she is looking for something to yell at me about.

Even when I ask her something like "should I zone this aile or do you want me on something else now" she'll get angry even though she told me to come ask her for an assignment when im done my current... I really use to like this job but its specifically her talking to me like I'm some moron that is making me now hate this job.

I've also noticed that when she yells at someone once, she decides that she now doesn't like that person and will always yell at them. She's never done this to any of the girls here, only the guys, but I don't think that part is all that relevant. We even had a guy two weeks ago that got fed up with her and straight up told her "stop talking to me with disrespect" and then he walked off the job. I obviously want to tackle it in a better way, but this just shows I'm not the only person that has an issue with her.

I'm planning on the next time it happens to respectfully ask "why do you talk to me in a condescending tone instead of just normally asking me something or telling me to do something"? But I'm not sure if this is a fireable offense or if I should approach this differently.

Guess these are good enough for foundations now.

It’s been 6 months since I was let go for having an earbud in, I was told when terminated I was eligible for rehire in 6 months. Now that it’s been 6 months I’ve attempted to apply at a Sam’s club instead but was immediately denied. So I tried logging into my old Walmart account and just applying, however it claims I’m not eligible for rehire and should contact my old HR for further explanation. What should my next steps be?

I just got it in the mail already, which is weird considering it’s not even past Black Friday events yet?

First I'd like to say, I don't suggest doing this unless you have a TL who isn't uptight, and if you are going to do this, don't tell anyone. Snitches are everywhere.

This little post is about how I figured out a way to make the scanner pretty much freeze, forcing a TL to unplug the entire scanner and wait for the entire thing to reboot and reconfigure..

So on a day that was a smaller truck, I was looking around the scanners screen when I noticed pressing HELP opens up windows explorer... So I figured I'll give this a try and see what happens.

On the corner on the screen near the clock is a keyboard icon, this will bring a touch screen keyboard to type. Usually used for typing the name of the person that did the preventive maintenance...

Okay with that keyboard pulled up, you can click the start button in the corner and type in Notepad in the search bar. In notepad, type the following without quotes "echo %random%"

Then highlight the %random% and cntl C cntl V it like 20 times. Now you will have a single line that reads echo %random%%random%%random%%random% ect...

Now, copy that entire line, and paste it below, making notepad now read as: echo %random%%random%%random%%random% echo %random%%random%%random%%random%

Now before you get confused and asking what this is doing, this is when I say press the back button and ignore this post. This post is for the devious. Now if you are ready to be devious, and don't know what echo is. Press the back button and ignore this post. Go play on a computer for a bit.

If you know what echo is, and know what random is. Now imagine a batch file that's 2gigs of nothing but random. Lol I copied the line for about 15 minutes, creating a giant file of echo and with copied about 100 times ... Then I copied that line and created a little over 1 million lines, each line reads echo %random% and random is copied roughly 100 times haha. This file was then created by clicking file, save as, then changing the file type from txt to All Files and renamed it "a.bat" and saved it to a random folder. I then ran the file and minimized it. Then I did that again. And again. And again. Soon I had about 45 of the 2gig files that are random generating over a million numbers, each.

Within 5 minutes the entire scanner just froze. Screen wasn't functioning, nothing was. Lol.

Story over.

And yes before you ask, I did delete the file. I was just seeing what it took to actually freeze it. That things poor CPU runs i3 .....

But it made me realize, before it froze there a point when the comp itself was slow at opening more those files. If you time it right, you can have that acting a fool without it actually freezing and nobody would know what the hella is happening.
