Mostly just Walmart stuff.
Finally a subreddit for all things Wal-Mart.
If you have anything interesting to post,
Please do.
This is basically a virtual break room for employees so prepare to be roasted if you try fuck around with that vibe
NOTE: This sub isn't heavily moderated. I do my best to keep spam out and the trolls under the bridge. I believe that the best subs are the ones where the mods stay out of the way (for the most part).
EXTRA NOTE: Don't act like an asshole. If you have to ask yourself "am I being an asshole?" You probably are. Cut it out.

I don’t want to get charged for it
I've been with Walmart for almost 10 years and took my first FMLA leave in December. My return-to-work date is mid-February after being extended a couple of times. During this time off, I’ve realized how much happier I’ve been away from Walmart and have started applying elsewhere. I've had a couple of interviews, and if I receive and accept a job offer while still on medical leave, would there be any issues with quitting instead of returning to work?
Would appreciate any insight from those who have been in a similar situation!
My store told a transgender associate that they have to use the family restroom exclusively. Personal feelings and politics aside, are they in the right to do that?
It's why I always stop the machine a couple times as it's lifting out. So it doesn't have momentum and drops straight down.
The guy on the video with his goggles on lol just let it go without stopping it even once and it went too far on the pallet. So it's 70/30 off center
According to my coach walmart doesnt give a fuck if you have covid, you gonna work it or get pointed. How does LOA work with sedwik? Im at 4.5 points which i will be down to 1.5 in 2 weeks time…..
Towards the end of my shift, I was finishing shoe freight and to prevent overstock, I took stuffing off the shoes to make room in the shoe racks. Then I threw that stuffing at a customer’s cart and her boyfriend said it was physical assault. I said I was sorry and I didn’t mean to because I was frustrated at work. I know it happens but I need to control myself more and be more mindful at work, especially in front of my co-workers and the customers.
Okay so me and my mom went to the walmart by our house (we’ve never gone there- I work at Target so it’s more convenient but I wanted to go see Walmart’s Valentines section)
There’s an upstairs section with a cart escalator right by the front door so we decided to check the second floor out after browsing the first floor.
The door guard lady looked at us and we went upstairs with our cart… but it only led to a parking lot. We hadn’t paid yet so I had to go downstairs again and get baskets so we could carry them down (cart escalator was only one way).
We paid after and then went out the main door, but I’m wondering if Walmart’s got us flagged? I don’t know how their security works in comparison to Target (which is my only reference for AP)
Sooo it's my second day working as an ogp and I accidentally rammed into an old lady on my pick walk. Can I get in trouble for that or?😭😭 I feel terrible and I apologized
One of the reasons I got into working outside as a cart pusher is to share celestial sights like this(the Moon on the left and Venus on the right in close proximity to the Moon)to those that can't get outside.
Anyone else having problems with getting a customer support chat going they want you to call. The delivery I had is delayed but shopped no one will answer I’m not trying to sound paranoid but all this has happened in the past few days wouldn’t have anything to do with the tariffs etc right? Idk I was just curious
I had a delivery made and want to return a can of unopened powdered milk. Walmart makes it mandatory to select a return reason, but it has to be one of "Missing Item," "Past Expiration," "Poor Quality," or "Damaged." It is none of those things; I just want to return it since I don't want it anymore.
How would you go about this if it were you?
It's so nice how to find out who are your real friends are after being backstabber by someone who you thought you could trust yay now I get to find a new job thanks
Guys me thinking that it’s finally over and not hearing this music on repeat for 10 hours a day ITS STILL HAPPENING WHEN CHRISTMAS HAS BEEN OVER
Officially quit Walmart today. Didn’t even make it a month. I get that for a lot of people this is sort of an exhilarating feeling but every associate at my store was really just so kind and helpful to me. My Coach and my TL were also just amazing people. I really didn’t want to quit but I’m in my second semester of college and am enrolled in 20 credits which is already challenging but when you also work 32 hours a week, it becomes unbearable (at least for me.) I was honestly really sad about it but I am happy to have free time again, it feels like I can actually breathe haha. Just felt the need to share this.
What if when in the assistant manager training program you won't have your availability open for all shifts? Is that required?
In general I'd like to know how NHM are ran? I've been getting more interested. I've looked on career preference to try to figure out "team lead" pay at the local NHM I can't find much but I also think maybe the role isn't even called team lead there? I heard it's fewer managers and more responsibility like each lead is more like a coach. I like that, I would enjoy being all over the store like a support manager back in the day. I also was told hourly managers get more like $24 per hour as they have more responsibility. I've been in opd 5yr and asked to promote multiple times but I want out of OPD as I've learned it all and honestly I'm bored and I'd like to learn storewide management.
So I started at Walmart today (orientation) and my next day is Monday just to finish my training on the computer and my first full day is Feb 8th, when would I get paid? I haven’t worked a bi weekly job in sooo long lol. I saw that the pay period ends on the 14th so would I get paid then since I started in the middle of the pay period?
Why we don’t got no eggs, I was here yesterday at work and we had eggs and in less than 24 hours they’re gone. Are we getting ready for some??
Can all employees view Workaday? I had a pic taken and posted there. And am curious to see it.
Some guy wanted to film his piss kink porn in the store today, got caught recording himself literally pissing his pants in the store, and then when security went to escort him out he asked if he could grab a couple items first.
Do you donated milk how many days before go bad. 3,4 or 5 days. Or try to sales it.
With drops of blood on them I meant to post...
Imo the entire truck should have been sent back to DC for them to deal with. I told one TL about noticing blood on boxes and he did nothing about it. Only until 15 minutes later after we kept seeing more blood spots on everything we were told to just put on plastic gloves they have in the store supplies.
I'm doing one touch and using my phone to scan things occasionally...I see drops of blood on the breakpacks
howwww do you keep your department on process with the massive influx of freight and underwhelming amount of help/associates? asking for a friend 😭
Had to pee like a racehorse today, and both the front and back restrooms were closed by maintenance at the same time. This should be absolutely illegal.
This is going to be a fun year 😂
Alright I just wanna know yalls opinions on customers bringing their own bags.
