Hello Cougars! I'm posting this here as we at KnowRivalry have decided it's time to collect some data on CFB teams to determine some data based answers on rivalries, especially with the college football season being over, I figured now would be a good time before the Spring to collect data.
With the help of message board members beginning in 2014, we—the students and professors of the Know Rivalry Project—began answering this question and others related to rivalry in the FBS Division I. Please help us update and expand our results to ensure that the Cougars are included by taking the time to complete our newest survey:
https://umassamherst.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3FdJ8eN2EgFCfCB?mbsrc=krdir (Scroll down and select NCAA FBS Div 1)
Our previous results have been featured in numerous sports media outlets, as well as the Wall Street Journal and New York Times. You can view those results, links to media coverage, and learn more about us at our KnowRivalry.com website BUT we'd prefer you didn't until you completed the survey via the link above... we don't want to influence your opinions provided in the survey. We use the Qualtrics online survey software for data collection. This academic research has been approved by two US universities' Institutional Review Boards (IRB) and it poses no risks to respondents. You'll find more information on the disclosure agreement that is required to start the survey. Thank you for helping us to include Washington State University by participating and please share this with any other fans that may also help.
We appreciate the time you take to participate in our survey as it's very helpful to us to get some great data on rivalries in FBS D1.

Instructions: comment who you love and who you HATE “I love (This Team) and hate (That Team)”
Results will be counted up and this map will be posted again 3 weeks from today with each state filled in with who they hate the most.
College football is the greatest show on planet Earth and with this season reaching its climax, we want to know who the villains are in your narrative. Who does your team play every year that you relish beating and lose sleep over losing to?
Feel free to share this map with other subreddits or people who might find it interesting, and thank you for taking the time to vote.
Hello all, not a Cougars fan or alumni here, but I just made this quiz about current and former Washington State alumni who have been in the NFL, and I thought some of you might enjoy it. There may be some people I might've left out or some pictures that are hard to use, but I just thought it might be a fun challenge for y'all if you're feeling up for it. Have a great day and all love to Pullman! I called a game there in 2022, and the city/fans were really cool!
hi everyone, i’m going to wsu in the fall and was wondering what the skiing scene is like. i know theres not much in pullman, but is there any nearby ski resorts in idaho? and do alot of people at wsu ski? thanks
UPDATE: willing to pay your first months rent .
Hi all! I am looking for somebody to take over my lease at the Grove apartment complex from December 2023-May 2024. You would be living with my two roommates (both women) and you would have your own private en suite bathroom, meaning the only areas you would have to share would be the living room and the kitchen. The apartment is completely furnished so the only things you would have to bring would be decor, sheets, etc. Everything is very modern and I have had no trouble with any of the appliances. The door to the bedroom locks for extra privacy. You would also have a walk-in closet and an in-unit washer and dryer, meaning you won't have to haul your laundry and pay at a shared area. One of my roommates does own a cat; her name is Violette and she is super friendly and playful. She loves to cuddle, so if you're an animal lover this is the place for you! The bus stop is less than a minute's walk away so if you don't want to pay for WSU parking then it is a great alternative. Rent is $725 a month with utilities included. Contact me if interested!
Got dawgpack tickets. Please take them off my hands. You know you want them
Is there a way to look at the statistics for whether the cougs decide to run or pass? I know they favored the pass, but I was wondering if there was a statistical breakdown of the play selection.
In the first 10 mins these guys point out that removing the pac from the Auto playoffs is difficult since Pres Schultz is on the board of the CFP and they need to be unanimous. As a result whatever the Pac 2 would still get the play off money that would have gone to the power 4, but split 2 ways not among 10 schools. That being said now it might be worth it to ESPN to fund WSU & OSU to the BIG 12. Personally I would prefer to rebuild the Pac that represents the west and WSU or OSU can get access to the playoffs. Kinda crazy Fox networks started this by funding UO & UW to the BIG 10 and now ESPN maybe have to get involved. I'm sure lawsuits will be coming if this was true. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbdnsB9pvFE
Unfortunately, the Alumni Association isn't doing a PreGame event (super bummed!), and I'm looking at tickets through the WSU Ticket Office site which are $62, though of course you don't know exactly where the seats are yet. I know they'll probably be in the end zone, but the La Alianza de WSU (the Latinx Alumni Chapter) has seats for sale in section 28a, which is in the end zone, for $32. Trying to figure out how much better the seats for $62 could be. Last time I was at the Rose Bowl for a WSU game, we eneded up outside of the Coug section which was fine, but always more fun when surrounded by fellow Cougs. Anyone here have any experience sitting in the visitor section of the Rose Bowl? I'd like to think 28a is going to be right in the mix with the rest of the Cougs? Also, FYI, in lieu of a PreGame event, the Latinx Chapter is meeting at Homestate in Pasadena two hours before kickoff. Which is almost worth it to attend just for the breakfast tacos! Go Cougs!
Hey Cougars fans! We analyzed picks from sports media outlets such as ESPN, The Athletic, CBS, and NBC Sports. Here's what the experts have to say about the game:
Nathan Beighle, USA Today: Washington State is 2-0 at home where it has outscored its opponent 95-43. It has yet to allow more than 25 points in a game this season and beat Wisconsin 31-22 at home as an underdog. The Cougars’ strength is with Ward through the air, and it will be the toughest test yet for the Beavers, who have held 2 opponents to single digits.
Oregon State suffered 2 of its 3 losses last season on the road, going just 3-2 away from home. This will be an amped-up environment like it hasn’t seen yet this season.
His Pick: Washington State Wins (+125)
What do we know about the lawfirm that WSU was represented by during the court appearance last week? I read that WSU hired high dollar lawyers, who are they and what do we know about them?
Why the fuck did cam ward let himself get sacked so damn much? That had to be 10 sacks at least. He needs to do better, especially if we’re gonna beat colorado Oregon and Washington
I’ll be in a crimson wig and probably some face paint. Hope to cheer alongside y’all today. Go Cougs!
I have 2 front row seats with back rests to Wisconsin game. I am unable to attend and am willing to take a small loss on the price of the tickets. DM me for details.
