Pat Sajak needs to cut down on the yapping during the bonus round. It isn't fair to the players.
Come on, has "participation trophy" sentiment come to this touchstone of American TV?
I'm sure over the years contestants have lost due to adding an 's' to make a noun plural, so why should this be different? Pat even reminded the player immediately prior to their response to not embellish with extra words. Yet it happened, and some viewers are angry.
Ask the contestant to come back if that would help soothe ruffled feathers (this contestant only), but leave the rule as is. It's a tough world out there...
Hi Reddit, I'm Ross, and I'm here to talk about all things Wheel of Fortune. I was on the "Make Life Sweeter" episode and won a new Mazda CX-30, a week's stay in Barbados, and a total of $48K in cash and prizes! It was one of the show's first episodes since returning from hiatus due to the pandemic, so the experience was much different than that of a regular contestant.
I'm happy to talk about the entire experience – my audition tape, the day-of process, prizes, and everything in between. The whole moment is still surreal, and I want to share how I prepped for the moment.

I know the camera-work will suck for it, but Pat needs to actually go the OTHER DIRECTION, perhaps even to the floor, for the Final Spin, not crowd out the first contestant.

In honor of the sage master himself Pat Sajak being hospitalized and Vanna White taking the lead as interim host, I thought it's as important a time as ever to share my spec script for the series finale of Wheel of Fortune (for whenever that happens, possibly never). Be well, big P! I hope this brings him j-o-y in the recovery room!

Can somebody find the Monday, December 20, 1999 episode of "Season 17 Christmas Week Day 1" on "Wheel of Fortune", please?
When I started reading this book the prologue says 2000 years earlier and is in darkstalker’s time. After the prologue it says 2000 years later and the story starts. Is it 2000 years after the jade mountain prophecy or at about the same time as it?
You know when someone wins like the 1/2 car or like $500 of chicken or something, how are those pieces attached to the wheel?
Velcro? Sticky?
I can't find ANYTHING on it and have an ongoing debate with my mom haha
I guessed GIANT TORTOISE correctly with just the S and there were witnesses!!
Just wondering, why are the Collettes Tours prices such weird numbers? Was watching tonight's episode and the value was two dollars short of a nice, round figure. For example 8,698 instead of 8,700. Why not just toss in the last two bucks? My OCD mind thanks you for your answer.
It's fun to appreciate Vanna, even the odd things about her! For example, she is so old that if you sucked on one of those big "wheels" blood would come out before milk. But it would taste divine because it's Vanna's. Reply with your favorite odd thing about Vanna, even if it is speculation!
Hey so I was watching an episode with my friends that aired either June 29-30, 2017 and am trying to find it because we found a certain part funny. I'm not sure if it was a new episode or a rerun. All I remember was that there was a black contestant named James who I believe was standing in the middle. If anybody could name this episode it would be much appreciated.
I'm trying to find out information about the "Big Money" character who briefly graced Wheel of Fortune with his glitzy presence - I want to say in the early 2000s? Black guy wearing a giant glittery $5k wedge who would play out to commercial break saying something like "It's me, Big Money!"
Does anyone remember this unfortunate marketing gimmick? Better yet can you find an image or video clip of him? I have combed the internet and am coming up bankrupt (so to speak).
Has Pat Sajak ever spun a Lose A Turn or Bankrupt when it's time for the Final Spin?
