Hi! I’m a high school senior interested in studying nursing and as this is one of my options, I was interested in how the nursing program is, as well as western as a whole compared to other universities in michigan.
Hey y'all, I've noticed we haven't gotten any emails yet for acquiring student basketball tickets, even though there is an exhibition game next Wednesday. Are there even student tickets for men's basketball games?
Hi, So I'm applying as international student for WMU in BS cybersecurity.
I want to know about the fee structure for international students and scholarship.
I have filled my application and just have to pay 100$ transfer fee. Is there a way to submit my application for free?
Also, how will an international student manage expenses there?
The only thing going on in town on Black friday. Put the turkey down, grab a friend, and come catch some live music and drink beer.
I'm considering getting a m2 or m3 MacBook and I was curious if any software used later in computer engineering won't be compatible with one?
While I’m waiting for my letters of recommendation to come through, I’ve been looking over my written statement but I’m not sure if it’s good enough. Any advice?
Hi y'all! I'm applying as a transfer student into the aviation program. I'm looking at on campus housing, but I'm not from Michigan and I have no idea which places should be my top choices. I'm looking for it to be on the cheaper side and I don't mind more roommates, but I'm very academically inclined and a quieter dorm would be preferable. Please let me know if you have any input. Thank you!
Has anyone taken this with gustafson. His exams have me freaking out he doesnt tell us what to study or also doesnt help out with questions.
i'm currently a freshman at msu looking to transfer to wmu for nursing and i was curious if anyone knew the average gpa of a student admitted to the bronson school of nursing? i know it varies based on the cohort but if anyone knows around where it usually is that would be super helpful
I’ve scoured the website and online and I cannot seem to find information about transfer students for aviation. To be clear, I am not changing majors. I’m not a WMU student, but would like to be.
I heard that the school does not currently accept transfers specifically for aviation. Is that true?
I have my PPL done and would be a second semester sophomore if I could transfer in and get accepted.
Does anyone have insight into the MSW program? I’ve heard varying opinions but I am interested in the class/internship opportunities. Specifically looking into the GR campus Is it still a good program to consider/apply to?
So I’m a senior and I recently just got accepted into the school, however a I weighing my other options for colleges to attend.
From the people who go there/have went there what are some of the biggest pros and cons of the campus and the school?
I have this nugget ice machine that my family was just gonna give away but i’m so sick of making ice cube trays i’m about to bring it to my dorm. It’s not super big, and I know they allow crock pots and stuff but it’s heavy and once that thing is in there i’m not taking it out. I know they do room checks on fall break. Does anyone know if this is against the rules?
There was a time when WMU was ranked among the top 100 universities in the US. In the most recent US News and World Report rankings WMU is among the lowest ranked universities in Michigan - well below 300th rank. Why the sudden drop in rankings? What changed?
Hey guys,
I made a post on here the other week about not receiving my refund money, well I finally did, but I received wayyy too much.
So I went to financial aid to see how I could return the extra money, blah blah blah they gave me a form to bring back to them, but the same day they billed my account the amount I was supposed to return and told me they “received my form” so I went back today and asked what that was about since I haven’t even filled out the form yet. And basically (had a different employee help me this visit) was told just to pay it ?
Has this happened to anyone before ? I just paid the bill but I never even filled out the parent plus loan adjustment form ?
Anyone that frequents here gone through, or is currently in, this program? I’m interested in applying but wanted to know a little more about the courses, primarily how writing intensive they are. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Currently have a 3.2 weighted GPA (3.1 unweighted) and a 990 SAT (don’t plan on submitting it) what are my chances at getting into the engineering program for mechanical or civil engineering?
I was wondering what the requirements are to get into a welding trade in WMU.
Does anybody know where I can take drum lessons? And if not lessons at least have free access to a kit?
I’m planning on applying for the civil engineering program as a transfer student for this fall. I had a good gpa in high school but when I went to college a few years ago go I failed out due to medical issues I was going through when I moved to New York. I’m currently working at a civil engineering firm as an intern getting work experience. Do you think I have an okay chance of getting accepted? Also I’m curious if I can get an alumni tuition discount since I have a weird situation. My dad is western alumni I believe but I have no contact with him and he lives out of state, do you think if I contact admissions if they would be able to help me out?
