I haven't tried it with all of them (so far Aranya and Daaru planter) but as long as it's small enough to be covered it should work. Seems like you have to place the floating planter BEFORE the pot for it to work though. Maybe this helps someone with decorating :)

EDIT: it also works with the Dormizone plants!

I'm fairly new to building new rooms and I've made a little expansion to the upstairs bit of the backrooms, but it's really dark and none of the lighting items I've placed seem to actually give off light. Are there any decoration items that that do light areas that I've missed? Or is there a workaround to light areas more?

With the addition of the backroom, I'm not dedicated to completely overhauling it. However when trying to clip this table into the wall, it tells me I don't have enough capacity despite this is the only decoration I've placed so far. Anyone know why?

My Alliance the Architects Anonymous is putting on a public decorating contest for the entire dojo community. The theme of the contest is Warframe, the game we play. I have a video with all the important bits of info.

Deadline for entries is Monday 10th February 2025.

1 Entry per decorator, so decorators from the same clan can enter.

New builds only, and no copies from existing clans.

No prizes due to EULA, but everyone will be featured on a community showcase video.

trying to make it look like a giant ship, and have interactable rooms laid out in a way so that there's a reason to revisit every room in the dojo after they're decorated. i'm a little iffy on using elevators since i heard they're janky but idk in what way exactly

The title says It, a color scheme ti match entrati decorations

I was trying to build something in my dojo, and wondered if, after placing several items, I could pay for them all at once?

I’ve been getting into decorating my orbiter recently so I’ve been taking it a little slow. I’m trying to make a full wooden floor for the front of my orbiter and work my way down. The problem being that I can’t place the floor under the market at all. Is there a way to fix this or is it just something I’ll have to deal with? (Image for context)

There is this one spot in the Entrati entrance hall where I can put absolutely nothing. Every time I try, the decoration goes red and I can't leave it there. I have tried moving it in with my mouse, as well as with the XYZ axis movement. It isn't just on the floor either. It goes up from the floors, like there is some sort of invisible wall or decoration that is already there.

I've changed spawn room around a few times in hopes it might reset it. I have been dealing with this for the past two weeks, so it isn't a log out and then back in thing to fix it.

Aside from just deleting our all the decorations and then deleting the room, is there any other way to try to fix this?

Is it because there's one of the taller rooms under it? Is that somehow blocking it? But only in that one spot. It isn't symmetrical at all as the other half of the room, in the same location, I could decorate fine.

I don't really want to start over.

little ideas for Qol for dojo decorating, mainly 4 annoyances i noticed while decorating my dojo

1-can't see how decorations look like while putting another decoration on them/clip one decoration into another (i have to guess, leave decoration mode & keep previewing decorations to see if they fit) please allow us to see decorations looking fully built while decorating if possible that is

2-allow us to preview how personal decorations look inside the dojo instead of having to donate them to treasury first (its a bit unnecessary if you have a lot of duplicates of whatever decoration you wanna use but still)

3-make doors open between rooms while decorating to allow moving/duplicating decorations easier between rooms (for decorations that were scaled/rotated, makes it a bit easier than having to remember how to rotate & scale up/down the decorations a 2nd time)

4-when choosing a room to build add a button at bottom right that allows us to see an enlarged picture of the room preview (this is kinda just to make it easier how to see how the room will look like without having to squint at the small image preview of the rooms, but probably not necessary)

these are mainly just ideas i had and not really Qols that need to happen, but it would be nice if they were ever included in a future update at some point (please correct me if i'm wrong about something though & thank you for your time)
