Can larger(length) SAKs be molded like the smaller knives?

I have carried a SwissChamp for the better part of 20+ years. I've wanted one of the larger knives, like the Hercules and such. Problem is, there's not one model that has most of the options I'd be looking for. I.could.probably buy 3 and have what I want in the larger knives, if they can be broken apart and rebuilt like the smaller units. I'm not looking to.make a super sized SwissChamp, but taking the majority of the tools. I use the most and putting them.together.

Thanks John

After years EDCing my Minichamps alox, I've opted for it's big brother the Pioneer X to complement it.

I like all the tools for Swiss Champ but it feels too big in my hands

I like all the tools for Swiss Champ but it feels too big in my hands. Can it be modded into two separate Victorinox SAK with no duplicate tools?

Looking for Help to Find the Model of a Multi-Tool

When I was in Bern my aunt living there gifted me a Victorinox multi-tool in silver with a grid finish covered in transparent resin. The Victorinox logo was also silver so it was quite understated and you couldn't distinguish the branding unless up close and personal with the multitool.

I am trying to find the model number to purchase this again. Although I was able to carry it and travel with it flying to many countries and across borders due to its small size, I had to forfeit it at Charles de Gaulle aeroport. It is about 3 adult male finger widths wide (I assume you don't have sausage fingers, so 2 in sausage finger width).

Thank you in advance and have a great day.

Customization rivet pins and screws

I am planning to build a custom sak and I need to know what sizes screws and rivet pins I need, and preferably also where (in Europe) to buy them.

What do y'all use the pen blade for?

In the SAKs with two blades, how do you distribute the work between the two if you do?

I personally own two climbers, in one of those the pen blade is for everyday cutting and the big blade is for mostly food, that's the one I EDC.

On the one I use for working around the house I mainly use the big blade and keep the pen blade really sharp for precision cuts when I don't use a utility knife.

So how do y'all do it?

Big dilema

Hi guys! I’ve just bought the one on the left for my wife. She wanted one just like mine. When it arrived, her multitool has the Camping stamp on it. Is there any difference between her and mine? I see no difference, but just in the fact that it is stamped with Camping. Is there any reason why mine doesn’t have the stamp on it?

Multi-tool Oil replacements

I live in a place where it's hard to access the official oil to lubricate the joints, so I wanted to ask if someone tried using Krytox 105 oil on their Victorinox (it's way easier to get where I live and have a bunch leftover from some keyboard projects).

According to Chemours (the manufacturer), it does comply with this NSF H-1 thing that the official stuff has on the bottle.

Taken from Chemours' brochure thingy

So has anyone tried it, and if so, how did it go?

First time repair.

Although I've carried these for as long as I can remember, I've never had one apart. I bent the tip on my edc super tinker being an idiot (I knew it was going to happen, but I didn't have much option. ) Taking the opportunity to pull one apart for the first time for a new blade. Any tips here? Far as I know. Heat the scales to aid in removing. Drill the pin and don't mess the bushing up. Then pretty well swap the blade and peen a new pin in? Probably a pretty fine line between just right and too tight as far as the pins and action go I'd assume.

Thought I would be red kind of guy always

The photo doesn’t do the white scales any justice but they really are awesome. From left to right: Climber, Super Tinker, Hiker and my latest addition the Explorer

The neodimium magnets I got for my SAK turned out to be too thick for the can opener slot, so I found another place to tuck them in

Couldn't find a 6 mm x 2 mm magnet with a hole in the middle. Apparently they only make 6 mm x 3 mm, which is unfortunately too thick to fit a regular tool slot.
