Hey friends,
Will be flying in, taking the bus out (Mestre). Short trip this time. As the title states, which neighborhood would you pick, Sant'Elena or Quarto d'Altino, to visit St.Marks and Rialto bridge?
TIA.
I'm debating whether to drop by Venice on the 18th or 19th, primarily to see if I can snag "rush" tickets to romeo e giulietta (which shows up as sold out on the teatro's website). How common are walk in tickets and is there a chance I might be able to get them? (I am aware odds are against me especially because it's a saturday/sunday).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, much thanks!
Ciao! Me and my girlfriend was planning to visit the Carnival of Venice. Unfortunately, She managed to book a flight and accommodation for February 1-5. That's why I'd like to ask for help. What would you like to see if you were me? I personally love nature very much. But I'm also interested in exhibitions and active programs. (The more you recommend, the better)
Thanks for the answers!
Happy new year!
Can I delete a report to the ACTV if it's wrong? And how can I do it if I did the report from the online site?
We just got back to the uk from Venice. We came in August and had the most amazing week as a couple but decided to bring our 7 year old daughter for new years. Equally amazing experience and we will come back year after year. Made some very happy memories
Title says all. What are his greatest achievements and what makes him special?
Hello, are there any live shows similar to Magic Mike London, Magic Men Australia or Sixx Paxx?
Planning on visiting Venice in a few months and wanted some opinions on this club please?
Where is best to stay if me and my friend wanted to come here for an event during our time in Italy?
I am also a bit confused on how to get tickets for this place off the event website, is it free entry?
Happy new year from Venice!
Does anyone know any shops where I can buy playing cards in Venice. Not Italian playing cards or tarot just generally playing cards. Thanks in advance!
Very glad to be in this city, here for the new year and Ive been having extreme nausea after a bad night, my medication isn’t working and MJ normally solves my problem immediately. respectfully I’m not looking for judgement I really just want an answer to my question if it’s even possible. I’m a young girl so I don’t want to go anywhere dangerous for it like train station or anything. I’m staying right near St Marks Square
Me and a few other young solo travellers are here for new year’s eve tonight and not sure what would be good to do. I hear there’s fireworks in the main square but it sounds like it’s gonna be packed and our hostel is on the mainland so getting back on the train also sounds difficult in peak new years.
Do you know of anything fun happening on the mainland? Maybe a club / bar or a hostel with a big party?
Would appriciate any advice!!! xx
Stopping in Venice for two nights in February. Any good Restaurant and “must-see” recommendations? Much appreciated.
My doctor said I should be fine. However, I want to plan for the worst case scenario that I need to go to a hospital in Venice in February. Which hospital would be the best?
So A while ago we made a reservations for the 4 of us at Barbacani for NYE. They just sent me an email saying they "have thought of an a la carte formula" and are increasing prices by 20-70%, and they are requiring a 150/adult and 80/kid minimum. Oh, and the email also says if you want to cancel and avoid cancellation fees you had to do it a week ago. So, any suggestions for a good but affordable dinner for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids)?
Hello all,
I know this a late request, but it turns out the myself and a few friends will be spending New Year's Eve in Venezia.
I am googling and looking for things to do, but I was curious if / what celebrations are normally held and if anyone knows of any gatherings, restaurants or parties that may still be available? We're a pretty chill group, so not looking for any crazy parties, just maybe some drinks and food and to possibly not spend the night in our hotel rooms. We are open to Venezia, Marghera or Mestre. Thanks
Ho visto l’immagine su Twitter ma non conosco abbastanza bene la città per identificare questo luogo
Hello everyone!! Me and a friend are traveling to Venice for New Years, we are both 20 and would like to start the new year off with a good party.
Suggestions would be very very appreciated 🥳🥳🥳 ps. We like house/ techno/ genuinely any type of good music
I’m a regular traveler to Venice (from UK), having visited several times a year for the last 13 years. I have learnt much Italian and can converse quite well.
However, this is the first time that I have visited at this time of year. I always stay on the Lido and have found it a friendly place to be…usually. This time though, there have been a few occasions that I have been treated very poorly. Sometimes charged too much at a restaurant. Sometimes pretended to be ignored at a bar, even when speaking Italian.
Is it because this time of year is seen as precious for Italian family-time and tourists are just not welcome?
I’m here for a months so hope things improve.
He was the nicest man, and would love to buy more from him now that I’m home - if any one knows his name I would really appreciate it
Does anyone know if I close the avm account I made on the app if I'll receive a refund of the remaining balance I loaded? It says I can close the account and delete all data, but I'm unsure if I'd get a refund for unused money that was loaded.
Thanks.
Many apologies if the the questions already happened before. We are planning a New Year trip to Venice and just found out about the acess fee. The online registration is closed, which leaves me confused if we can even enter the old town. Is it possible to pay the fee on a spot upon entering?
Thank you in advance for the response!
