Hi, so previously I bought Bobbi Brown foundation and primer at a department store where they could help me try it on/determine color. Now that I’m more educated I’m of course not going to buy Bobbi Brown again, but wondering what vegan and cruelty free brands you recommend for sensitive skin that you can go to a store and try on?
Ideally each would be under $70 if possible. I love elf for eye makeup but when I tried one of their skin products a few years it caused an irritation so I assume I need to go higher quality.
I was using amlactin because I read they were cruelty free and found out they’re actually not. I’m looking for something as cheap as possible and I’m not picky about it. I don’t care if it’s benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, lactic acid, doesn’t matter. Just looking for a exfoliating body wash and lotion that isn’t the physically exfoliating type with gritty stuff in it. I would prefer to be able to get it from Amazon, Walmart, Aldi’s, or BJ’s, but if it’s cheap enough I can get it somewhere else.
I like a mascara that can really build up on the lashes, but I have yet to find that in a vegan formula! Any product recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks!
I recently splurged on an Omnilux and am looking for something I can wear during treatments to boost results! Can be a mask (translucent kind not opaque), serum, or toner.

Hey everyone,
If you've tried 100% Pure skincare or cosmetics, I'd love to hear about your experience! What products did you try? How did they work for you? Did you notice any significant differences in your skin or makeup routine after using them? And most importantly, would you recommend them to others?
I'm particularly interested in hearing about the effectiveness, quality, and any standout features of the products. Your insights would be incredibly valuable.
Looking forward to reading your responses! Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts and experiences! 🌿✨
I'd like to try some A-Derma products but I'm struggling to confirm whether the brand is entirely vegan and cruelty-free.
I also want to confirm any parent company is also vegan and cruelty-free. Can anyone help?
I have cystic acne which has been 'reignited' so to speak from my hormones and I just started using Aklief and Spironolactone to help. Because of me using Aklief though I no longer use the benzoyl or salicylic washes on my face because the two combined are way too harsh. However what brands are incredibly simple in their formulation like Cetaphil and Cerave but don't use or test on animals? Price wise I'm okay spending around 20 usd as long as the bottle is like... Reasonably sized? I'm a college student so I'm not able to buy the most expensive things ever.
Thank you guys :(
I damaged my skin barrier and am struggling to find a cruelty free moisturiser that can help repair it. Any recommendations would be very helpful. I have dry skin prone to acne and Cc in certain regions and am sensitive to fragrance.
This is my holy grail for both facial acne and scalp psoriasis. I see that derma E has salicyclic acid face wash and shampoo, but both of them have tea tree oil. I know that tea tree oil supposedly helps skin conditions but I have had very bad experiences with scented products in the past.
Any idea?
...doesn't exist for us vegans, right? At this point, I am low key jealous of people who can just walk into any pharmacy and grab a 16 oz bottle of Cerave or Cetaphil. I am tired of spending so much money going through endless little bottles of cleanser. I want a fragrance-free gentle cleanser in a big bottle, for a reasonably cheap price. Well, moisturizer too to be honest. The Ceramedx cleanser is nice but only 8 oz. Any recs for anything that's 16 oz?
Both the regular version and the mini have disappeared off their website and Amazon, but I can’t find any information about a discontinuation.
hii, i’m looking for a cruelty free recommendation to spot conceal my acne scars. i’ve been trying to use color corrector too, but there’s quite a learning curve for me. so, spot concealing is still my way to go.
i’m currently using the simply ageless cover girl solid foundation bc it’s quite full coverage, but wondering if there’s better options :)
I got skincare covered so I mainly want to know what else y'all use after that. I don't like foundation because it makes me want to claw my skin off. I do like those no-makeup looks. My skin is combo, leaning towards dry.
I got the basic makeup stuff such as concealer, eyebrows, lips, and mascara. But the 'face surface' stuff eludes me. I would like to step it up a bit and feel a bit more girly.
Face stuff that confuses me:
Do i need a primer or is my skincare routine enough?
Is foundation powder similar to the liquid kind? Is powder better without feeling like I'm being suffocated?
Is setting powder / setting mist necessary?
I have a concealer so would I need BB cream or tinted moisturizer?

Nice to have: zero-waste, minimal routines, fragrance-free items
I would love to see everyone's routines with products listed, please comment below! :)
I need some recs, guys!
I feel like all the lip SPF I find, since Vanicream discontinued theirs, isn't vegan (usually they contain beeswax)
And the couple I found, like MD Solar Sciences, is over $20 a tube, and that's just not viable, given that this is going to be my daily lip balm, and its size is diminutive for that price.
Hi, I’m looking for an alternative for water tint of channel. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Hi!
Some E.L.F. products, like their Retinoid Serum and Vitamin C serum, can no longer ship internationally. Does anybody know how/where to get them in Canada (Quebec) or have any recommended alternatives?
Thought it might be a good idea to crowdsource a post for lightweight summer moisturizers that can be used in humid conditions. (I haven’t found one I like yet, so this post will hopefully benefit me too). Please share your faves! Thank you!
Combination skin moisturizer
Hi! I'm looking for a moisturizer recommendations.
I was using Boscia Tsubaki swirl moisturizer, but it seems to be discontinued 😢. I usually have combination/dry skin, but recently it's been raining a lot and my skin is more oily. I live in USA so I'd appreciate brands that are sold here 🫶🏻
I have already tried these:
First Aid Beauty ultra repair
Clinique Dramatically different gel (love it but is not cruelty free, so I won't repurchase)
Elf Holy Hydration, the one with spf but I hated the smell :(
Thank you!
I just found out that the lipstick I’d been buying new units for the last 3 years has a refill policy. I could’ve just refilled my favourite color, and it would’ve saved me money too. Seems like a good direction towards reducing single-use packaging and adapting sustainability. But I doubt, Is it accessible to all? while I live in a large city, what about the customers that aren’t. How are the brands ensuring that this refill program is available to remote locations?
I’m sure that the process of collection, recycling, and refill is complex and time-consuming, which makes it challenging for most budget-restricted brands. But if this concept is not scallable than it doesn’t make any big impact on planet.
If you’re founder or leader of any such brands, how are you making sure that your vision of circular packaging is correctly reaching out to your customers?
I have been using beauty counter for a while (gifted to me and ended up being the first time I had a real skincare routine and it works well with no problems for my skin). But I am ready to move to a new brand(s) for products and am overwhelmed with the options. Help please!
I was just wanting to know if anyone has tried the Huna Cleansing Cream (or will try it, because I would appreciate feedback on it before I try it)? From the description, it is a cleansing balm that turns into a cream, but it has some shea butter in it, which usually would break my face out but this seems to have other ingredients (i.e. lightweight oils and enzymes) that might counteract the effect. It looks to be cruelty free too. Anyone who ends up trying it in the future, feel free to PM / DM me too
Recently asked my derm about getting it and even with my insurance they said it would be at least $90 per tube!!! I feel like there are cheaper sources? Anyone know where a good place to order from would be?
My skin is a very pale olive shade with a greyish/ muted undertone and the best colour match I ever found was Missha Perfect Cover 13. Does anyone know of a vegan & cruelty free alternative?
Suggestions please! I don’t really wear makeup. Looking for something I can put on every day that protects from the sun and does not irritate my skin or eyes.
I want it mineral based and vegan. Tint would be nice to prevent white cast and also even my skin tone a bit as an added benefit.
Thanks!
i really loved the nyx glitter primer before i went vegan, i used it all the time to make shimmery eyeshadows more impactful/prevent them from creasing and was sad when i saw that it contains beeswax meaning i can't purchase it anymore. does anyone know of any similar products? thank you!
I'm looking for an unscented one that doesn't dry out your lips. Suggestions appreciated!
