I was walking home tonight at 1:50 am in the vanier area and a lime green car(maybe a kia soul) circled me twice and then approched me to ask if i wanted a drive. I said no and the slim white male in a snap back driveing did drive away, but women in the area be careful.
Does anyone know a good lash tech that does lash lifts and tints in the Vanier area? I don’t mind driving a bit but prefer to not go downtown or the west end. Thank you!

Beastmaster Invites You to Electrify Skeleton this Halloween!
This Halloween, Vanier’s Beastmaster is asking the community to help with his most shocking project yet—bringing a skeleton to life.
After months of trying to animate the skeleton using his electric chair, he’s calling on his neighbors for a boost of positive energy. “The chair can spark the body, but the mind needs a charge from the people,” he says.
Join the fun at 300 Lajoie on Oct. 26 and 31 from 7-9 pm, to help the Beastmaster bring his spooky creation to life!
Bunch of signs on streets in Vanier that depict no street parking at risk of being towed? They look fake though. Anybody know if there's new bylaw being put in place or something?
Is anyone else smelling a weird "plastic on fire" smell outside? Anyone know what it is? It's around 7:30 on Tuesday evening. I'm at Blake/LaFontaine.
Hello Vanier community! I'm posting in the hopes of any sightings of my cat, Mo. He's semi-outdoors and has been AWOL from home since Sat 24 Aug, early morning. His usual territory is the Savard/Cyr/Jeanne-Mance area (he lives nearby). Pink collar, chipped, very shy so he won't approach anyone. Brown and tan; dark brown swirls on coat and tail. He may be avoiding home after having been spooked by something; he's quite skittish. If anyone has any info text/call : 613-983-2742. MERCI! Hi everyone, I’m looking to move to a place 1 street away from the Shepperds of good hope on Montreal road near Monfort hospital in the east end. Just wondering if anybody had any experiences about the area to share. Is the area safe? Has there been any increase of issues since the SGH was built?
I’ve lived around Ottawa my whole life. I lived in Nepean, Hull and briefly in the Sandhills area so I think the housing is a good idea and have never had any issues before but I wanted to hear some resident’s opinons. What is the area like compared to other parts?
Thank you :)
