Vacuum recommendations for Hardwood & Area Rug

My house is primarily LVP floors with area rugs in just about every room & bedroom. I'm looking for a vacuum that can satisfy both. I've had a Shark Rotator for about 6 years now and it works great on the rugs and picking up dog fur, but it's not very good on hardwood. I have a robo as well, but it also seems to do a mediocre job on the bare floor. Not really looking to spend anymore than $300. I have two small kids so convenience is a key. I've read a few threads pumping cannisters for the bare floors, but I'm not sure how those would work on area rugs. I do enjoy the convenience of an upright.

Bissell Little Green Muilticlean at Costco

Bought the above machine at Costco. I’m curious how many of you are familiar with it vs its other variations and if it was a good buy vs paying a little more for another model.

I plan on removing small stains on carpet, upholstery and the rare vomit stench leftover when the kids don’t make it to a trash can

It sounds like motor power is a key feature to consider. Is that true? Any other features that are important?

Analysis paralysis! Help me choose a bagged canister vac!

What I have: 1200 sq ft. Luxury vinyl plank, porcelain tile and one low pile area rug. Kids. Dog in future. Long haired humans.

What's important: Long cord (not lots of outlets). Hepa. Dusting tool. I'm tall, so a longer wand is helpful so not slouching ha.

Budget: Ideally under $400. Can stretch to $600.

Looking at Soniclean, SEBO, Hetty (because PINK!). I think Miele's cord is too short for me.

Thank you for your thoughts!!

Which Miele?

Which would you purchase. I have all tile and hard wood floors except for our living room low pile rug. We also have a regular vacuum we can use on the rug.

Where to buy a Sebo E3 premium on Black Friday discount that will ship to CA?

The best discount I’m finding knocks it down to just under $1000. Anybody having any luck finding one for less than that?

Tineco iFLOOR 5 Breeze vs Tineco Floor One S3 Ultra

Hi Experts

For Black Friday i see these 2 vacuums are similarly priced. I am in Canada, so vacuums are not that cheap here.

https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/tineco-floor-one-s3-extreme-wet-dry-vacuum-blue/16474519

https://www.amazon.ca/Tineco-iFLOOR-Breeze-Complete-Self-Cleaning/dp/B0CRR8FJSD

I tried to figure out between these 2 which one is better but did not get much comparison.

I have mostly kitchen tiles+hardwood+area rug (no carpet).

Experts please advise.

TIA

Edit:
Budget: $250-$300

Hey all, I’ve had my Sebo E3 for about two years and it’s been great, but recently the parking bracket cracked. Is there a way to fix this without sending to the manufacturer? Any help would be appreciated!

Meile Duoflex HX1 for everyday cleaning

Hi guys
We currently have a Meile C3 but find it a little bit of a chore to clean with it everyday.
We would like to get a cordless vacuum for everyday cleaning and have seen the Duoflex HX1 in our local electrical shop for £270, our floor is 75% wood 25% tile and our house is a tiny little thing.
I like the brand and many of our appliances are Meile and have never let us down, would the HX1 be a good choice for us?
Thankyou guys in advance

Hoover H-Free 100 cut off after 15 seconds

I bought this vacuum cleaner Hoover H-FREE 100 HF122GPT three months ago, I used it three times. In the instruction manual they recommended charging the battery fully before first use, I only charged it 6 hours. However, it worked fine till today, when I cleaned with it for like 7 minutes without stop, then it started to cut off power, then when I press it goes for 15 seconds, and it shuts off. What is going on ?

The problem is that when I bought it, it was announced it has 45 min of autonomy, which is basically not true.

Looking for a vacuum.

That is a all in one for pet hair and dirt. On carpet and linoleum floors. I really don't want to spend more than $180. I prefer a cannister I don't want to go back to a vacuum with bags. I can have a chord on it also, the battery on mine dies after about 20 mins of use and I spend most of the time charging it.

Cordless Vacuum Cleaner as primary for small flat recommendation

Hello,

since my Dyson Absoulte V11 sadly died resently, I am looking for a replacent.

My flat has a about 50m2 and is Hardwood only. I am from Austria, and my Budget is flexible, I dont have a problem with spending a little more to get a quality product.

I have a lot of small corners and crevicies, which is the reason why I vastly prefer a cordless vacuum. I only have comparably small interconnected areas, which makes using anything big just a hassle.

My first Idea was to get another dyson since it worked fine other then dying a little spontaniously. But as the didn't get any cheaper (especally the new models) I am open for any brand recommendations.

LG CordZero First Impressions

Ok - I know this sub hates stick vacs, so I’ll will preface with the information that between Black Friday deals and being a partial gift from my parents, my fiance and I paid $150 for this thing. We have a 2k sf house that’s mostly hardwood with a mildly-shaggy area rug in the living room and the bedroom. We have two cats, a black domestic shorthair and a Siberian - both love to shed egregiously, as cats do.

We have a Shark Apex DuoClean for heavy duty stuff, and a Eufy robovac for passive cleaning, but needed something like a Dustbuster that we could just pick off the wall for 30 second spot cleanings around radiators, litter boxes, steps etc.

The specific model we got is the A923KGMP. For me, the highest priority was something that had a replaceable battery, as our outgoing Dustbuster does not and it can now run for a minute tops.

I didn’t care about the self-emptying and all that since it’s just more stuff to go wrong and these things are disposable in the long run. My fiance will be a full-fledged Attending doctor in 18 months and then we can think about getting a nice Meile canister.

ANYWAY, with all that context, I’ll say that this is a nice piece at the Black Friday price of $300. I put it together and let it charge overnight. Immediately gave it the hardest job in the house of vacuuming our living room rug that the cats love to sleep on. It did a great job, extracted a ton of stuff, and kept on going as I went around the perimeter of the 1st floor.

It ran for a good 15 minutes at the highest setting, not bad for a battery that isn’t broken in yet, considering I was using the powered roller head. Suction was good, more than enough to pick up cat hair, litter and dirt.

Fit and finish are as expected, not super polished but not terrible. Ergonomics and weight are nice, usability is simple and straightforward.

Overall, if you need a stick vac and can get one of these systems for $300 or less, it’s a solid buy (especially if splitting with a partner). It’ll keep our house more tidy between cleanings and get into places that are inconvenient for a robot or corded unit. Were it full price, I’d just grab a Henry Quick instead, but yeah I like this thing. Cheers

Cordless vacuums recommendations?

Looking to purchase a cordless vacuum and can’t really decide. Shark auto empty has a nice design, dyson v8 also is lightweight, pros and cons.

Looking to capitalize on black friday/cyber monday prices. I know cordless vacuums have a short shelf life with the lithium ion batteries but our corded one is a pain to get out and really meant for the “full house cleaning” days.

I’m wanting a cordless one for those quick clean ups where there are crumbs in the kitchen or in the hallway for quick and convenient cleaning. Our townhouse only has hardwood and tile with area rugs.

Budget is $100-$300

New Sebo E3 owner here -- thanks for the recommendations.

Like a lot of us here, I'm celebrating bringing home a new Sebo Airbelt E3 yesterday. Another successful Black Friday deal. I got mine from Abbott's Vacuum Center in Nampa, Idaho. The owner hadn't really thought about Black Friday, but when I asked about it he knocked $100 off, and then when I offered to pay with a check he threw in a few attachments for free. So it doesn't hurt to ask. This is my first high-end vac in decades, and hopefully it will end my crazy obsession with buying vacuums like they were a pair of socks. That was possibly my first time in a dedicated vacuum shop, and when I walked in I thought I had died and gone to heaven ("my people!"). Cheers, and happy vacuuming to all!

Cyber Monday panic

Looking for the best option and leaning towards a Miele but want a gut check.

Floors: 50% tile 50% carpet Environment: 2 toddlers - 2 hairless cats with crystal litter - 2 adults who work from home - hair shedding is VERY prevalent in ur home.

Home: 1980s build with no reno. Gets dusty.

Price: under 1000 but ideally around the 700 range or under

Willing to invest a reasonable amount but need it to last and be quick. I don’t have much time to spend on deep cleaning so it needs to work the first time around.

I know we mess with Mike, but how do we feel about the robot vacuums?

Does anyone have a miele robot vacuum that they love? Looking to get one for my wife (we have pets and neither of us are avid vacummers) because I've been tipped off that she got me an e3. Any thoughts?

Cordless vacuum cleaner recommendations

Hi All,

Which is recommended out of AirRAM MK2 Vs Dyson v8 Vs Shark (IZ400UK) Vs Samsung Jet95 Vs Henry Quick? Budget between £200-£250. Mainly it will be used on laminate flooring as secondary vacuum to a corded Henry.

Thanks
