Hi, I figured I would ask on here since I can't find an answer anywhere else; does anyone know how one would remap finger gestures when using a pico headset? Vrchat never rolled out an update fixing them for pico, and I don't know much about remapping stuff.

I started playing in early February of this year around May. I found an avatar of a high cat and I took on that persona. I would get high IRL login and tell people “ hi my name is high cat , I get high in real life and ask people high questions , are you down to answer my high question of the day? “ and what comes after usually is some very deep interesting conversations , some laughs and some good times. I’ve asked people what’s their concepts of the afterlife. I’ve asked political questions. I’ve asked people what their favorite childhood memories are and more questions every day. Of course I’ve had some people not respond at all or just be mean, but most people have been very welcoming very nice and again, some of the most amazing conversations I’ve ever had if you have ever run into me I would like to thank you as I continue my adventure through vr chat as now officially SirHIGHCAT I can say give vr chat a chance yes there may be some bad apples, but there’s a lot of amazing people funny people, and I guess you can say some cool catz

I dont get it, I get on vrc I join random lobbies (mainly looking for 18+ groups to encounter a few less children) I vibe with people and I have a good time 9/10 times.

I do not have a well curated friend list or smth either and its not like im super social it takes me on average 20 minutes to start talking to the people I hang out with

But appearently according to all the posts here that should be impossible which just confuses me, like what are yall doing to not have fun or meet people in this game??

I have a powerful PC at home, but im traveling a lot. My friend wants to sell his laptop and im thinking about buying it for my travels. What you think? Would vrchat with quest 2 run with this config?

My original plan was to go with the BoboVR S3 and a couple of battery packs to be able to play for as long as I want without interruption, but it seems like they don't ship the batteries to where I live. :(

What other solutions are available and recommended? I plan to play PCVR for the most part.

So yeah putting up stickers was a nice cute little addition to vrchat+, but tupper, for the love of god, if I wanna hide the sticker, the author of that sticker then shouldn't be able to put up the SAME sticker right after that.

i've searched as much as i could but i cannot find any bee avatars that fit my fursona, so i'll have to make my own. if anyone has any advice for a beginner in 3D modeling PLEASE give me anything to help me out and make this process easier because im already overwhelmed. i've created a reference sheet of my sona to use as a guide, id like to have a rig skeleton for me to use to build on top of it. also if they're any tutorials on how to be able to add toggled clothing and accessories that would be great

The code workshop will take around an hour and there is no required experience in VR or social VR applications, simply a good attitude to learn and discuss how to keep users safe in social VR. All workshops will take place on Zoom and through Miro, and will be one-to-one.

I play this game in desktop mode and I join random public worlds most often. But one night I jumped in a karaoke place to listen to some songs and maybe get some ideas for new songs I can listen to. But I didn't realise I accidently joined a group instance and they kept coming at me and yelling at me to give my age or I would be kicked. I got so nervous I forgot the button for texting a response and I kept pressing T (I think the button is Y). I was finally kicked after the last guy had his fun yelling at me for my age. I have joined many different instances with people who love going around and kicking people relentlessly and it just feels... wrong. I get the 18 and up thing but bombarding people and acting like they are daft for not replying fast enough is rude. Whenever I see people getting kicked for random reasons it just makes me feel like I am apart of some weird vrchat bully group and it makes me uncomfortable.

I've been really wanting to go look around in publics but I've honestly been really anxious about it, I went on just looking around nifty looking worlds on my own. But recently I've been trying to see IF i could maybe go out on and try to just see some public stuff.

I just would like some insight on what worlds would be best for me to just chill in, and maybe run to some people and just. Not risk any toxicity. I've heard so many good things about this game but I've just been feeling hesitant still.

okay so uh my Creator Companion took like 3 hours to create 1 unity project. I used to think that its not actually doing anything and that it is broken and nobody knows the fix then I thought to myself "what if I should just wait longer and maybe it will create it eventually", and sure enough it did but it created it in 2 ish hours, almost 3.

Do anyone know how to fix this? creating a project usually take like 10 seconds why is it taking hours now?

I've been exploring avatars lately, and I'm really interested in trying out different toggles. However, it feels like everything I find is just a copy of something else. So, I'm specifically looking for unique, underused, but still super cute avatars. (I use Quest)

I'm not into furry avatars, but I absolutely love ones with animal ears and tails. Also, I'm mainly looking for female avatars. (Do cute male avatars even exist? ...asking for a friend)
