tomorrow is the preview day and i am so unbelievably excited but i want to make sure im as prepared as possible :) ive never gotten to have a full tour of the facility and im a tad bit nervous ill do/say something silly when talking to peers or professors. therefore, does anyone have any tips for things to bring or what to expect? id really appreciate that, thank you!! 🫶🏻
Am I screwed? Can I get another appointment with another advisor or am I just going to have to pick my classes myself?
There is one thing I can’t figure it out… I can get the point of who has more credits to enroll classes first but who can tell the means of the last name order😓😓😓 so our last names begin with Z deserve the latest time to enroll?? So we must witness them to choose the classes we want and nothing we can do until all classes we want all full eventually?? First time feeling bad about my last name
So I'm international Student I am going to apply for this program August 2025. I have so many doubts in my mind
Is it right university. Intership program is worthy or its just a gimmick. University tire. Work after study completion. On campus opportunity are there or not ?? Any suggestions for similar universities. Pros and cons.
Hello! I’m interested in going to U of L next year in the fall, is the campus walking distance from class to class or will I have to get on buses to commute?
Hey yall, I’m graduating (yay) in December. Does anyone know what date I could have the degree in my hand by?
Hi! I recently got admitted into uofl and I’m very interested in the ULEAD program available but the only info I can find about applying is this one short list of requirements posted by uofl school of dentistry. I was wondering if anyone knows if this program is still active? If it is, do they also consider your common app info? It says they require two LOR (which I already have submitted through the common app) and I’m wondering if I need to submit two different ones. Thanks in advance!
If so, can you reach out to me? I'm thinking about joining, but I don't know if it's too late. I also want to know how much time it takes up
I'm a sophomore here, very extroverted and I love watching and playing sports, working out, thrifting. If anyone is down looking for new friends I'm more than down to chill and hangout!
So I'm a commuter student and I want to have my package delivered to the Canon mail services to pick it up. Is it possible?
My advisor is booked until after course registration but I need to get this hold off my account. Can I have an on call advisor do it, also when are those offices even open?
Hope someone here has taken a class with him if you did please comment or if know someone comment as well. Thanks in advance! - Class number PHIL-225
Why they make it so messy?I have no clue what date I should enroll courses.why don’t they just point out a day for all of us? And what do they mean by the special students? If I wait till November 7 will I be able to choose what I want to enroll?😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
So basically, I’ve been looking at the trifecta apartments and I’ve been trying to figure out if there’s any hidden fees like yeah you have to pay 150 for the application fee, but is there any type of fees when you move in like a security deposit
I need people who has or is currently living in the trifecta apartment to respond
I’m a junior at UIUC and will be coming to Louisville for a co-op internship in spring
Been advised to stay in housing near the campus, what are some of the best and worst places?
How’s the social/party scene here?
Thanks!
Anyone here done a 3 week winter session before?
Thinking about adding a class for this winter, but 3 weeks seems crazy fast. Curious if anyone has tried and what their experience was.
I'm an international student, have just been accepted for MS in mechanical engineering but untill now I know very little about academic life there and challenges. Can someone help me with it?
Any chemistry PhDs currently or recently graduated? I'm looking for honest reviews before I apply for next fall
Hi everyone - 6 of us are travelling to Louisville on Saturday Oct 26th for annual trip. For some of us it's our first time in Louisville, or in state of Kentucky. We get a hoops run on all of these trips but indoor courts seem limited in the city and surrounding area other than the Rec Center at the school for the hours I need it which is 530 to 730pm on Sat 10/26.
The rec center only allows in guests when accompanied by a student with a 1-guest maximum. Thus I am looking for 6 students interested in playing hoops during that time. We will pick teams and run 5v5 with 1 sub on each side. We could also do a mini 3v3 tourney. This will be a fun and competitive run..... plus I will pay you $15 each for helping us with the access and helping us get a full court run in!! many thanks for considering this atypical yet sound idea!
I am a freshman BioE major, and I have to take PHYS 298 next semester. Based on how my schedule looks, I have to take it with either Dr. Davis or Dr. Smadici. Both have terrible reviews/comment on RMP, which option is less bad?
hi! i'm a prospective student, and since i've been admitted i've been looking at the housing options for next year. im applying for the honors college and considering the global village themed community, so my main options are kurz hall and bettie johnson. (in case you can't tell, i'm desperately looking at the suite style rooms, haha) so, if you've lived in either hall, especially in those communities, what has it been like? would you recommend it?
What are some easy A classes that don't require much effort or studying to pass that you would recommend I take? I need to load on extra classes to reach 150 total by the time I graduate so it doesn't matter which subject they are. They can be online or in person, preferably online though.
Edit: If you know any profs that teach easy or relaxed content the recommend them as well!
Anyone who lives at U-Pointe/Bettie/Card Towne. please tell me what the pros and cons are!
I’m a freshman trying to figure out where I want to live next semester, and since they don’t give tours of second year housing! i had to use instagram to see clips, and these three looked the most promising. I currently live in community park and i like it here. but i definitely would love to be in an apartment style. anything helps!! thank u in advance!
I am a CIS major taking CIS 199 next semester. If anyone has taken the course, do you recommend it in person or online? It would be inconvenient to take it in person, but I would prioritize a good grade over convenience.
I’m getting graduation pics done on a weekend on campus and I’m wondering if ALL the buildings are locked up over the weekends or not? I know the library is open until like 5 on the weekends but does anyone know about all the other buildings? I’m gonna need to change and trying to figure out if there will be a building I can go in the bathroom and change in or not. My pics start at 5 so I wouldn’t be able to use the library since it closes at 5..
Hey yall, I'm a Psychology major looking for friends on campus. Does anyone know of study groups on campus or want to join with me to study? It would be nice to meet people and also do my work at the same time lol.
I'm considering taking chem 201 online during the summer instead of in classes during the fall. Is this a good idea?
Anyone know where to get a bluebook for free on campus?
Im an international student thinking about enrolling in this program, Is it worth it if my plan is to stay and work in the US? Is it challenging to find a internship/job in Louisville?
