When Numero does reissues, it’s almost always because the label is completely defunct. But Kill Rock Stars still does plenty of Elliott Smith represses (and looking at discogs they’ve been pressing other records too). Obviously Elliott is bigger than Unwound, but even still the Unwound represses have been selling really well over at Numero. Was just curious if anyone had any insight to this, I’ve always been curious. Maybe it was just a matter of neglect?

Anyone know if you Unwound will be playing more gigs soon? Haven’t seen any other bookings online.

Looking at this image I realize that I always thought of this album as something magical and fantasy like Post-Hardrock with a Medieval Fantasy theme, like those images of castles or epic artstation scenarios, I always thought that the typography of the album is simply unbeatable. So far I realize from what one guy said, this album is about the “End” of things, Not now. She never had a chance. I guess i had my chance. Just breathe. Six shots and I'm gone. When I left my island. And you thought the last century was bad. Im pure tired. This was a lunatic project. Maybe in November if you remember. When I was alive. A co to gra? Then on I'll tell you when...

desperately needing a way to get back home, anyone willing to carpool? :)

As a metalhead I'm not the one who would usually go out of the way to listen to lesser known rock bands. Just over a month out before Unwound are due to tour here, I decided to give this band a go (I have a soft spot for 90s bands). Much to my surprise I was instantly enthralled by their noisy droning guitar tones. They remind me so much of early Blonde Redhead and Sonic Youth.

Here is where I find myself in a quandary. On the same night they are due to play, I already have another metal show planned that night. Do I have a solution? Yes, I came to the decision that I am going to see Unwound play that evening and take an 8 hour round trip for the metal band on the next day. Everything is falling into place.

I can hardly wait to see these guys live!
