Hello, after having a big shock that i messed up with the prerequisites, so now i'm planning to take HR as my major. but the problem is i cannot find the require course : 350,369 when i register. is there anyone have the same issue like me?
I'm registering for classes and I noticed this lecture was at the same time, same place, but had two different sets of seats. Anyone know why/what it's for? Maybe a different area of the room?
Hi, I am transferring from the University of Saskatchewan to the University of Regina and some of my cs courses didnt transfer so I am having to take the introductory course again. I'm posting to ask if anyone has taken the CS 110 bypass exam and if so what sort of questions did they ask? At UofS we did python for the class but I cant see anywhere on the course description what is used in this course.
Thanks.

Hi guys, I am an international student from Vietnam, and I am currently studying remotely at the University of Regina for the Winter 2022 intake. I am planning to arrive in Canada this March. However, instead of going to Regina, Saskatchewan, I will go to Winnipeg, Manitoba, to visit my uncle's family for a few weeks before returning to start the in-person class in May.
I have some questions about my situation:
It is the first time I travel to Canada and I have to go alone, so I am very nervous.
Thank you very much for paying your attention.
Let me know if this is not the right place to post this.

We will be holding this year’s Stephanson Cooke Interprofessional Event on March 3rd, 2022 from 9 - 11:50am.
This year’s event intends to help students recognize their role in influencing positive and respectful academic and workplace cultures through AASAS province-wide campaign #momentsmatter. Guest speakers include Naheed Neshi, Anthony Parker, and Kiara Mikita. Healthy, inclusive and safe workplaces effectively address sexual harassment. Positive workplace culture is essential for personal well-being, team success and job performance, but creating positive cultures can be a bit of a mystery. Post-event, students are provided with resources to recognize healthy/unhealthy workplaces and tools to take action.
We will be providing $25 gift cards to 10 participants as well as certificates of completion to all that attend the event.
For more information click here.
Thank you for your interest!
Howdy folks. We're hosting a province wide virtual game jam as part of the Global Game Jam. A game jam has teams of people (or crazy lone wolves) create a small videogame (or boardgame) about a specific theme within 48 hours.
Never made a videogame before? No problem, we'll teach you.
Don't have a team? We'll find you one!
All you need to participate is a computer.
Instead of PLAYING videogames on the weekend, why not MAKE your own?
Is anyone else still not able to view all of their classes for the upcoming semester? I've been registered for a while but can only view one class and one lab. I can't figure out if the problem is on my end or if profs just haven't made the class available yet.
Hello everyone!
I am currently in High School and am planing to go to URegina for A degree in Computer science. I wanted to know how is the computer Science program @ URegina? How is the co-op? And in general if it’s worth coming here for Computer Science? Also, how easy is it to get a job here after finishing your studies?
Thank You!
I hate this goddamn place. I’m so tired of all these restrictions when I’ve been doing everything right.
Is the option to switch from a degree to a diploma programme available here at U of R?
If I get admission in Biology degree, would I be able to switch to computer science or business administration diploma? If yes, How?
Is there quit option available here at U of R. Means can I quit a degree program after taking admission and get into a diploma program?
Hi guys, I am a first-year international student at the BBA program, so I have some questions about the courses and classes:
What are the advantages and disadvantages of 5 classes per semester and 4 classes per semester? (U of R suggested 2 options to choose including 5 classes per semester and 4 classes per semester, but I don't know what should I choose. Is it better if I have more classes in a semester?)
What are the differences between MATH 103: Applied Calculus I and MATH 110: Calculus I?
Do you guys have any suggestions and recommendations to deal with university life T_T? (I am so nervous for the first time I am far from my family)
Thank you very much for paying your attention.

Where does everyone look for sublets available for the summer?
I submitted my MS (Winter Semester) application last July and I still haven't heard from the university since. According to the application site, the department is still on selection process. To grad students, around what month did you get your acceptance rejectionletters?
Ps. I am an international student, I need my acceptance letter for my visa application.
Just looking to talk to anyone that is in the program or has already taken it. I have a few questions. Thanks!
I’m considering applying for the Living-Learning Communities. I was wondering if people who’ve lived in LLC can share their experiences, what it was like, the activities and such, what to expect, etc. I’m considering applying for the Global Citizen or Health and Wellness LLC.
I recently applied for the social work degree at UofR and I am looking at living on campus for my first year. I am looking at one of the single dwelling apartments that are more expensive for the year and was wondering what kind of furniture I would need if any at all. Also looking to see how I would best be able to meet people as I am a mature student that'll be from out of province. Any advice on living situation and school life would be amazing
