I am asking because I say something about presentations in one of my college app supplemental essays, so it would be kind of embarrasing if we never present anything at all

So i used ai in a programming assignment and got 91% but after that I got an email from the professor saying that i used some concepts not used in class and they suspect i might have used ai or copied from someone. I was thinking that i could maybe just learn that one concept they didnt taught in class yet(arrays) other than that all the other stuff i know how to do it and also i did in class tests earlier and did good on those too. Like what would they do in the interview?
I had a mediocre first year. This year, everything went downhill, and I ended up with a 0.9 GPA and failed many courses. I also stopped communicating with everyone, including family, for over half a year, and I don't know how to recover. Any advice?
Note: I am an international student.
He friends, I am in the last school year and I want to go to Switzerland to complete my studies at the university. I have money, but I dont know how to communicate with universities in Switzerland. If any one have information, I wish you to inform me.
I’ll be 20 when I start university (nearly 21)- due to personal/ mental health reasons I wasn’t able to go in 23/24. Would I be better off looking for private accommodation for mature students? I will have to move somewhere as the university I want to go to is far away from home
hi, what are the best universities for a homeland security, counterterrorism. foreign security, or any major that would fall under that umbrella
Hey everyone! 👋
I’ve been thinking a lot about creating a new social media platform that’s ad-free, privacy-first, and genuinely focuses on connecting people without all the noise and tracking. Imagine a space where you see posts only from the people you care about, in chronological order, with no intrusive ads or data mining. Just pure, community-driven social media. 📸💬
Here’s the vision:
I know it sounds ambitious to take on Instagram or Twitter, but with enough support and the right vision, I believe we can create something meaningful.
👉 Check it out on mona2lisa.online — I’ve already started building it, and would love your thoughts and support. Would you join a platform like this? What features would you want to see?
Hi everyone,
I’m currently based in Europe and looking to study Cyber Security abroad. I’ve applied for a student visa twice to study in Quebec, Canada, and despite having CAQ approval both times, my visa applications were unfortunately rejected.
Now, I’m considering whether I should try applying to Quebec again or shift my focus to universities in the UK. I’d love to hear your advice or experiences on both options. Specifically, I’m interested in comparing:

i want to become a private detective/something along those lines. i'm thinking of majoring in criminal justice, and a minor in something else, like forensic psychology. what would you guys recommend?
As the title says, i'm wondering if the university you go to really matters.
What i mean by that is that when you complete your bachelors degree, graduate and eventually get a job, when hiring you, will the university you have gone to matter in the job market ( salary, post, opportunities ect.)? It might seem dumb to some of you but I just feel like it's such a big deal for some people to attend to a T20s or an Ivy league school, when most of them end up getting paid and getting the same positions as other workers that have gone to normal universities.
While it can sometimes be perceived as a dream for an hs student to attend those schools, i just don't get why people to stress themselves this much when they can get the same product in a school that it much more accessible and less stressful. I mean yes those schools are prestigious, they give you a high quality of education and everything but in the end, you'll generally end up doing the same job as people that didn't attend to top unis like you did. Some people see getting into one of those universities as a must and make their whole life about it; which is kinda sad kinda sad when you see all these people apply to those schools just for 90+% of them getting rejected.
I just don't get why it has become such a trend to attend top schools; maybe I am too dumb to comprehend the whole thing but i'd like some outer pov on this please...
so my i’m is kinda in a situation where i really dont like the uni im in right now. so i really want to transfer to a cuny and i want to transfer by next semester. im in my first year so i was wondering if i submit the application as a transfer applicate and if i get accepted i will tell my advisor then do my complete withdraw. and is it okay if i apply to multiple schools higher my chances? how is the application process like?
is this a good idea??
thank you guys
Do you have ADHD and want to help increase knowledge about the disorder? Hello all, my name is Colin McLaughlin, I am a doctoral candidate from Kansas City University and I am currently looking for participants for my dissertation. The purpose of my study is to explore how social skills and self-beliefs relate to the academic success of individuals with Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The hope is that this information might be used to help with the treatment of ADHD. Participation is anonymous (you do not have to give any information that would identify you) and simply requires you to fill out the survey located in the link below. This should only take 15-25 minutes of your time. In order to participate, you must be diagnosed with ADHD, you must currently attend a university program that uses GPA (grade point average), you must be at least 18 years old, and you cannot also be diagnosed with autism or an intellectual disability.
If you meet all of these conditions and would like to participate, here is the link for the survey:

Thank you for your consideration!
I (18f) am doing an apartment share at uni with rebecca (18f). Initially, she seemed excited to flat share, however, it’s been 1 week and she seems to have changed.
When we first were planning apartment sharing, she seemed very nice. I was happy that even though I was doing going to uni in a new place, that a roommate that seemed nice. However, now that we have moved into our apartment and started uni, our dynamic seemed to be very different.
She is more extroverted than I am, so after uni or in between lessons she goes out more whereas I don’t rrly go out as much as her. am worried that she doesn’t like me because I’m not as outgoing as her.
I’ve also found that when she speaks to her other uni friends, or speaks to me when her uni friends there, she speaks with lots of enthusiasm and more energy (the same way she spoke to me when we first planned flat sharing). But when she speaks to me by myself, she speaks with less enthusiasm and less energy.
There was also one time when rebecca was sitting in between myself and her friend (julie). I think they were talking about me since I noticed they were whispering a lot and kept looking at me, whilst shushing each other. I overheard rebecca telling julie that she regrets sharing an apartment with me, since she thought my personality was dry, even though I have only been here for a few days.
Things are still rrly civil with my flat mate and I, so nobody has said anything directly to each other. I rrly like my apartment and don’t want to move. Does anybody have advice on how I can become closer with my roommate since I feel like we haven’t really been able to bond much?

Hi all!
Im a first year university student and am looking for some advice regarding which elective to pick.
I have decided to do an elective during the 3rd trimester of my uni as to take off the workload for next year, however im stuck between which one to pick.
Orginally i was going to pick the easier route by doing a subject designed to help students in uni, basically just a whole how to write essays, reference ect, which can be useful but mostly used for an easy pass. But as i was researching my opitons I feel drawn to picking marketing or project management, as its not an area i am currently studying but i feel passionate to learn more about those fields.
If anyone has any advice please let me know
I know this is an odd question. The reason I ask is because some masters are only available in 1 or 2 places in my country and I just can't afford to move. That is why I was looking for online master programms. Sadly, there are not that many I can do in my country :( but in the US it seems like almost every university offers what i'm looking for.
So again, can i do an online masters from an american uni as a european (from home in Europe)?
Hello, I'm looking for the cheapest tablet for university but that allows me to use a pen to write and has low ping latency.
I was looking at the Lenovo M11 with 4GB ram and 8GB ram and I don't know if there will be much difference or not, because I only need to take notes, not play video games.
Thank you very much for taking the time to answer this.
Here’s a refined version of your message:
First of all, I apologize for any grammatical mistakes; English isn’t my first language.
This is the first time I’m sharing this, and I’d like to know if there are others who feel the same way.
In high school, I studied in a school where teachers were kind and lenient with us. Even so, I was a good student with strong grades and good attendance. But there was always this small worry about university – I felt that university might expose my true level as a student and that maybe I wasn’t as good as I thought.
Now, I’m in my third year of university and my second year in my major. I feel like I’ve become worse. I struggle to study and don’t feel like I can perform like I used to in school – almost as if that worry has come true.
I’m not a student who doesn’t care; I do try and put in my best effort. But I feel like I was much better in the past. I also think I could’ve done better in the preparatory year, but I didn’t. I wanted to major in engineering but couldn’t; I ended up finding a new major that I like, which is good. However, I still feel like I’m underperforming.
This is my second year in urban planning. I’m doing my best and hope you are too.
I just wanted to share my feelings about this topic. Thank you for taking the time to read my message, and sorry for the length.
Have a good day.
Shoutout for chatgpt for fixing my grammatical mistakes
HI,
I'm a 2nd-year undergraduate student studying Accounting and Finance. I'm currently looking for placements for 2025 for a year. I would love to go abroad either to Belgium or France. The only problem is that I don't really know where to look. I've looked on ACCA for some, but they only give me jobs or graduate placements for those countries.
If any of you have any tips or ideas of where I could look, that would really help.
Also, I'm only fluent in English but I am learning Dutch and French.
I applied for a lab tech assistant at a university (I’m 22 and just graduated my masters) but my gf who’s 18 is a freshers at the same Uni. Would this be ok?
I have submitted my application for Princeton for early action. My teachers and school counselor are on holiday due to diwali. So, they are not able to upload my LOR and transcript till Nov 4 Monday. But, the early action deadline is on Nov 1. Can my counselor and teacher upload the LOR and transcript after the deadline?
