My son has a below knee cast and is rolling around on a KneeRover. We wanted to go for his birthday but concerned he won’t be able to ride. Does anyone know if he’ll have any restrictions? Not sure if we should postpone the trip.
TIA
I'm a gold passholder, and I'm looking to go to Fan Fest with some friends who aren't passholders. They'll probably do the 2pm early entry, but assuming I'm not blocked out that day, could I just get a general admission ticket for Fan Fest and go into the park at 2pm with them? It would save me ~$40 but I want to make sure I'm not missing something.
So I'm thinking of taking the fam for a trip to Universal Studios Hollywood as Orlando isn't an option for us at the moment.
We've never gone before to any Universals but went to Disneyland and did almost everything for the 3 days we went, but we definitely were wiped.
Was thinking of going sometime in May, on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday potentially, so that means the regular park closes at 5:30 for Fan Fest i believe. Definitely want to hit up fan fest.
With all that said, do you all think all of the events of Fan Fest can be done all in one day/night? What I'm thinking of doing is one regular day at Universal, no Fan Fest or express, and then the Fan Fest Express pass that let's us in to the park at 2PM and into Fan Fest at 5:30PM.
I know details of Fan Fest are really new so I understand if advice is limited. I was thinking of just going one day, but I think it'd be a good idea to try and do 2 so we aren't rushing through everything.
We want to hit everything as possible. I will say I'm mainly there for experiences like frog choir/spirit rally for example as rollercoastes with major drops scare the crap out of me. 😂 Can do intense ones, just not big drops. So if y'all have information on which ones have that, it'd be much appreciated.
For reference, can do Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, and Thunder Mountain at DW and had a fun time with those. Could not do the Guardians or Incredicoaster.
I’m a nanny and next month I will be going to Disneyland and Universal Studios with the family I nanny for. I am 5’1 and around 220 pounds. I have PCOS and carry a lot of my weight in my midsection. It will be me, the mom and two 7 year olds.
I am well aware that I most likely will not fit on the rides and I’m extremely anxious about it. I’ve expressed this to the mom when booking the trip and she shrugged it off that I will fit.
Would love some thoughts from people who have actually been there and are plus size, have a plus sized loved one.
If I can’t fit, will the kids be able to ride by themselves with her?
Hello! Trying to plan my first big trip with my boyfriend in May for fan fest and was wondering if Expedia is safe to book a hotel on, specifically, Sheraton. My boyfriend gets a “deal” on there from his work and it would make it cheaper than if I used Sheraton’s offical website.
Is it safe to book on there? trying to save money but be safe about it, of course.
Thanks!
Now while the initial announcement excited me- I now think the marketing has been a little misleading. It's been marketed as a similar event to halloween horror nights. But upon looking through the media release + hearing more about the event, it's starting to sound more like a glorified photo op event. From what I can tell, there's really no walkthrough attractions being built in soundstages or anything (except maybe star trek , still a little unclear?) , It just seems like you can meet rare characters, Seems crazy to charge the same price for HHN & get so much less. I'll happily eat my words if I'm wrong
Visiting Feb 19th and the 22nd. Will Waterworld be back open by then? It was the only ride I missed out on last year when I went. Appreciate any info!
We are going to LA universal studios on 01/30/2025, I feel the crowd there on weekday is less now, so wondering whether people that already went has recommendations on whether we should buy fast pass or not since fast pass is kind of double the price.
note: we are there for only one day
Thanks for replying!
I know about the up and coming fast and furious ride but just wanted to see if there are others, maybe in like Mario land or something.
Ok, I’ve read through all of the previous posts, but some are from quite a while ago.
What’s (currently) the best and easiest way to get from LAX to the Burbank area? Thinking of staying at the Garland. I’m traveling solo with my son, so it needs to be easy.
(I know flying into Burbank is an option, but it’s more expensive and there aren’t any direct flights.)
Hey everyone. I'm wanting to know your thoughts on taking a six month old baby to Universal Hollywood this summer. I'm leaning against it because of the heat, exposure to pathogens, and not being able to fully enjoy the day.
I'm wanting to know if anyone has any similar experiences and advice. Thank you!
I’m a huge Chucky fan and ever since I was a kid I have loved to carry things around with me (I’d even bring stuffed animals to school lol). I have a Chucky doll but I never take him anywhere since I don’t want to freak people out or anything. I went to 2024 Halloween horror nights and noticed a couple different people carrying around Chucky dolls at the park. Would the park allow me to take him in with me next Halloween? I don’t want to bring him with me just to have to talk it all the way back to the car if it’s not allowed. I looked it up online but couldn’t get a straight answer.
Hi everyone! I'm going to Universal for the first time in a looong time. I know they have carts with beer everywhere, but beer upsets my stomach now (yay me lol). Is there wine inside the park? Would be happy to hear recommendations!
Hey guys I’m planning a trip to visit on Valentine’s Day, is there anything I should be aware of or anything special happening that day? I’d really appreciate the feedback 🙏🏾
I’m going to Universal on Friday! Haven’t been in a while. Has anyone been there recently and can answer some questions! I am going as Marty McFly, is there any photo ops anywhere like the car? Does the studio tour stop at the clock tower to take pictures? Anything else I should know as a BTTF fan before going? Thank you!!!
So I was going to go to Universal Hollywood soon, and was wondering if there are any must do attractions vs skip able attractions. Any help is welcome.
Hello. I noticed on my app my ticket says "AP Silver FG DDB2" but on my printed ticket it says "Silver Pass DDB2".
Just curious what the FG means
Thank you
Sort of a USH noob here - considering getting a pass for a year just to do something different for me + the kids, but I'll be honest I'm more excited about the notion of eating and snacking my way around the various places.
I noticed that very few places offer breakfast, which is my favorite meal, but there's little information as to when/what days they serve it. If there's one complaint about the USH app it's that it's lacking in the food and beverage department - mobile order isn't done within the app and always kicks you to a browser, etc.
Anyway for the regulars, does this mean that breakfast is served only when the park opens earlier, like 8/9? I've only ever been in Januaries where it's open at 10. Thanks in advance.
just checking in to see if anyone at the park is experiencing rain? my weather app showed a forecast with some chance of rain and i want to be aware of any bad weather before i make the drive over there.
Hi, my partner and I are flying out of LAX in November at 8pm on a Monday. We’re considering spending the day at Universal but we’d have our luggage with us during. We would arrive around 8am. Is there anywhere at the park we could safely store suitcases like this? I know there will of course be lockers but we’d need something pretty big!
I have a 4 year old and was thinking about taking him on a Saturday in the next upcoming weeks. Down side is I probably won't be able to make it to the gates until 130pm/2pm ish. It will be his birthday and was thinking about surprising him. Is it worth the ticket if I show up this late to Universal. If I do , I would probably get the fast pass or what ever is equivalent to that.
Thanks for the help!
I bought a wand in the Orlando park and was wondering if it would work in the Hollywood park.
My husband and I are going to Universal Studios today. We have been pass members for years but we now have a 6 month old baby!
We plan on just walking around and eating but are there any rides we can get on with our 6 month old baby?
I think I recall a couple on the studio tour with their baby but I am not sure… regardless we may skip that one if are allowed because I’m nervous my son with bust up crying and we have no way to leave off the tram 😂
