Is my subject enrollment and term selection correct for my upcoming master's course?

Hi everyone! I'm starting my master's course on 3rd March, and I've been able to enroll in only three subjects so far. These are for Term 25 - Autumn, SC1, WSTC T1. I just want to confirm if this term selection aligns correctly with my program schedule. Has anyone else faced a similar situation or could provide some guidance?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I’m confused

Hey everyone, I just got a Fail for Financing Enterprises BUSM 1010.

Based on my calculations, I have already earned 47.2 marks (38.6 from prior assessments and 8.6 for class participation). However, my total grade for the subject is listed as 48, which means that I did not receive any marks for the final exam. I completed the final exam, and I am unsure why it appears I received no marks for it.

Is there any chance that this is a mistake or I actually gone below 50% for the exam so they just didn’t include it for the total grade?

Thanks

Physiotherapy

Hey everyone, I’m really passionate about studying Medicine, but I’m in a bit of a tough spot. I’m in Medical Science and my GPA is good, but not quite good enough for Medicine, and I know how hard it can be to improve it as I go further into my degree.

I want to make sure I’m planning for both pursuing Medicine and having a solid backup plan with good job prospects.

With that in mind, I was wondering how manageable it is to achieve a high GPA (6.5+) in physiotherapy? Content is one thing, but how it’s assessed is another thing, so any advice or insights would be much appreciated!

Electrical engineering

Hey

Anyone’s that’s done electrical engineering or any type of engineering. I’m really worried, as for literally all the subjects that I’m about to do for the next 3 years, (I just completed 1), there is a 50% or 60% final for everything.

My question is, is it hard to pass the subjects because of those finals, I’ve been contemplating moving as other universities actually have the percentages moved around and have a better chance of passing them.

Any insight would be appreciated.

How are the assessments in Psychology?

Hey everyone I really want to study medicine and I’m aware of the trap of doing a medical science because it’s an “easy” degree to get good grades in. But now I’m in the predicament in which I’ve got a good GPA, but not good enough for Medicine, and going into second year I’ve realised that it’s hard to mend a GPA.

However, my biggest issue is that in planning for the worst I want to choose a degree in which if worst comes to worst I have somewhat of a good job outlook. I know how redundant a Medical Science degree is.

So in planning for Medicine as well as having a good job outlook; I wanted to ask how “easy” is it to get a good GPA (6.5+) in Psychology? I understand that content is one thing, but the way they assess content is another thing. Any help would be appreciated :)

True rewards early entry!

Hi!! I had a quick question. I applied to the first round of early entry true rewards!! I am elegible for it as I read the criteria and all. They’d usually send an email either notifying you of being accepted or declined. I haven’t received either of these the first round. And the second round releases next week Friday ( 22nd of November).

If I need to do anything or change anything to be elegible for the last 2 rounds please tell me :)) all help would be greatly appreciated!!

Can I Get a Refund If I Switch Unis and Courses?

I’ve accepted an offer to study public health in Western Sydney and also paid some advance, but now I’m thinking of moving to Brisbane. The problem is, there’s no Western Sydney Uni branches there, and on top of that, I’ve realized I actually want to switch to nursing instead.

The faculty told me the fees I’ve paid are non-refundable, but I’ve heard from a few people that sometimes you can get a refund depending on the situation. Has anyone dealt with this before? Is there any way I could get refund?

How hard is it to fix a GPA after first year Medical Science?

I’ve heard people say it becomes much harder in second year onwards to get HD’s because first year is a lot more chill.

UwU

Uni’s like this full-blown fanum fever dream where you’re powered purely by cold brew and skibidi-level anxiety, fronting like you’ve got a sigma-tier five-year life plan. Every week, you get yeeted into a lecture hall where some professor's out here speedrunning theories crafted specifically to make you question if you’re running on even one brain cell. You got 24 hours in a day, but half of them vanish into the void while you stare down a midnight deadline on an assignment you just clocked has, like, five unread readings lurking in the shadows.

Tutorials? Straight feral. You sit there nodding, maybe tossing out some NPC-tier buzzwords, all while your brain’s fanum-spiraling, begging you don’t get put on the spot to actually explain anything. And don’t even start on group assignments—fancy way of saying, “Welcome to the mogging grounds where you’re the only one with a sense of deadlines, and yep, you’re about to hard-carry this entire squad.”

Exams? Total edge-fest. You speed-cram like your soul depends on it, only to slide into the test room and realise half of what you studied was for the wrong unit. Now you’re stuck decoding questions like it’s some alien dialect straight outta Area 51.

University: the full-on sigma lifestyle, a cursed combo of caffeine, existential dread, and the most overpriced fanum grind that somehow becomes your whole existence. Sleep? Just a mythical creature at this point.

accepting early entry but i'm confused

So i was offered an early entry into a course and I want to accept it but still be eligible for other courses at other unis. it says that even if I accept I will be able to get offers from other unis but while accepting the offer it's asking me to apply for HECS and I'm not sure whether to do it or not because I don't want to apply for HECS for a course and then want to do a different course at another uni and then be in extra debt or something. idk I'm just not sure what I should do

GPA suspensions

I am a first year and I have a 1.33 GPA I failed my first two subjects. In the progression policy it says my grades are enough to get me suspended. If I fail a third subject would I get suspended? If anyone else has failed multiple subjects can you please tell me how it went for you.

Early entry question

Hi, I recently received a conditional early entry into a bachelors degree from my year 11 results and the only condition that is specified I need to meet on the email is to complete my hsc exams.

Does this mean that I can get a terrible atar and terrible marks for my exams and still enter into the uni and complete my degree?

Can the uni take the offer away if I get a bad atar and hsc marks?

On the website, under hsc true reward “frequently asked questions” it says if u received a early entry through year 11 results then whatever atar and marks you get doesn’t matter!

I messed up, how do I proceed?

I am currently doing a Bachelor of Sports and Exercise. I'm in my last semester and about to graduate and apply for my post-grad Doctorate of Physio at MQ. Or so I thought. In excitement, I had a huge oversight and realised I still had one unit remaining.

I've applied to UAC and did all the requirements (I thought I was scheduled to graduate), but now I am freaking out as to what I should do. The unit is not a summer but is only offered in Spring 2025.

I don't want to delay my studies another year on top of a 3-year doctorate.

I think I can transfer to MQ somehow and do the unit earlier?? I'm not sure

Is there anything I can do? Any advice would be appreciated
