I’m a senior but my gpa is at a 2.11 and right now I’m not sure how else to get it up to take level 400 classes. Has anyone else had this issue and if so how can you get it up? I’m passing 2 of my courses as of right now but struggling in my 3rd and it’s not offered in the winter courses. Follow up: how much do winter courses typically cost?
I’m about to finish my first year of undergrad at a community college and I have to transfer to a 4 year university in Wisconsin (uw) and I am on a Pre PA track. What are the best uw schools that will get me accepted and prepare me for a PA school? I’m hoping to hear from alumni’s, current PA students in WI or anyone who’s knows of someone in PA school of already a PA. Any advice or questions are welcomed!
Has anyone taken FITWELL 114 Weight Training I, previously SPT&REC 114? Looking for some fun classes for next semester, and would also love to brush up on my lifting. Not interested in hanging out with a bunch of bros. Instructor isn't on rate my professor.
Hey I wanted to start working out between classes and was wondering if the klotsche has showers/locker rooms?

Okay obviously this is lame (or maybe not idfk) but how do people just... know about parties?? I don't get it. How the hell does one find a party to go to? Also, who even throws them??
College parties have always been sort of a fuzzy concept in my head and I feel like I'm missing something. My friend and I want to go to some Halloween parties but not only do neither of us have any other friends, but she also has no clue how to just "find a party." Is it this frustrating and obscure for everyone?
Please fill me in on if I'm missing something or if it really is just, "ya gotta just walk around until you find one."
So I just decided to drop a 5 credit courses so I need to add some courses to stay full time, what half semester classes are available at UWM.
Any idea when will we get Grads tickets for Dec graduation event at UW-Milwaukee?
Does anyone know of any easy online classes to take? Preferably one that releases all the course work right away so I can run threw it
Hello,
My puppy chewed the cord to my Rupublic of Gamers laptop. (ASUS) Modelo GU502LW 60mm barrel connector.
Does anyone have a cord I can borrow? I have one on order from Amazon, but it won't be here until the 28th and I got lots of homework to do. Help would be greatly appreciated.
How are business Adm class are in the winter term?
It’s too late to register online or by mail, but you can still register to vote on Election Day at your polling place. Here’s what you’ll need to bring:
1. Proof of Residence: A document showing your current address in Wisconsin, such as a Wisconsin driver’s license, utility bill, bank statement, lease, or a government-issued document.
2. Photo ID: A valid photo ID to confirm your identity, such as a Wisconsin driver’s license, U.S. passport, military ID, or a student ID with proof of enrollment.
Note: If your Wisconsin driver’s license has your current address, it can serve as both proof of residence and photo ID. If the address on your license is outdated, you’ll need a separate proof of residence document.
Can’t wait until Election Day? You can also register in person before Election Day at your municipal clerk’s office, or other common locations like the DMV, public libraries, or city hall.

See you there!

What are the best on campus jobs? i applied to a few on handshake but haven’t heard back. Is it hard to get a job working for the university
Any frat parties this weekend? Thanks!
Hey everyone, I’m graduating this December and I know already going to need extra tickets (first gen graduate). I know tickets will be issued in the next couple weeks or so and I’m looking for an additional 5 tickets. Putting out feelers to see if anyone is willing to part with even one or two of theirs. I’m not sure how many extra tickets will be available and I like planning ahead. This is super important to me because I will likely be my grandparents only grandchild that they can witness graduate from college. If it absolutely comes down to it I’d be willing to pay too.
https://mediamilwaukee.com/home/mark-cuban-to-visit-uw-milwaukee-with-kamala-harris/
The article in Media Milwaukee claims that the campaign event today will take place at Lubar Entrepreneurship Center, and Mark Cuban will also be present.
I believe it also claimed the time of the event would be 12:20pm, but that has since been replaced with "The exact start time of the event is unknown, but the event is expected to take place in the late morning".
I'm not sure where that information came from, can anyone corroborate it?
Edit: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has a YouTube livestream scheduled for 12:45, despite an article that indeed lists 12:20 as the start time.
I hope this is allowed; I have a valid prescription. Has it gotten any easier to fill adderall in the UWM/east side area? I am a recent former and would like to be a student again soon but being diagnosed shortly before the shortage and then trying to go back to school was a disaster. Its a huge part of the reason I quit (again). It always got worse around mid term and finals and the last time, spring 2023, I went 3 weeks at the end of the semester without my prescription. It wasn't the longest period of time but it was probably the worst timing.
Has it gotten better? I do not want to attempt again until I know I can reasonably expect to get my medication. I currently live further out and if there are issues, its a couple days, a weekend, not weeks of waiting.
Opinions from current students? I mainly use walgreens. When I was over there, I'd use the two oakland walgreens and the one on brady but it was often a crapshoot.
Does anyone have details?
Doing some searching on this sub some people have said the CS programs are outdated here, but this was a few years ago. Has it gotten better? Was this not entirely true?
In the CS course catalog there is a listing for CS 522 - computer game design. It looks really cool and I'd love to take that, but there's no listings under "last taught", and I can't find any information about it anywhere online... Does this course even exist? What is the point of putting it in the catalogue just to not ever teach it?
I just wanted to shout out Immy’s on Oakland because I stopped in today for lunch and I got a student discount. 15% off lunch for students/teachers on Tuesdays and Wednesday. Got a hearty vegan meal that was perfect for the chilly weather today. This spot should be bumpin but it’s dead in here :/
Feel free to recommend your favorite local spots for lunch in the comments!
Yo, PSA, the locks on stalls don't really work. Someone could push it from the outside so knock on stalls before going in and if you're in one be on guard 😭😭
Does the restor in sandburg sell stamps? I havent seen any but I might be blind
