Derrick Rose? ¯|(ツ)/¯
I’m trying to get the combined Jazz+ and UtahHC+ online but when I try to check out all I’m getting is a “Saving information” loading screen that never goes through.
Anyone else seeing this issue?
I am looking into getting the SEG plus subscription for the jazz and Utah hockey club. I watch everything through my Xbox and just saw that neither of the hockey or jazz platforms will have console or smart tv support. I'm wondering if i just use the edge browser on my Xbox if that will still allow me an easy way to stream the games on my tv. Just curious what others did last season with the jazz+ subscription.
Im trying to purchase tickets for a game for the upcoming season on ticketmaster. But only the section and row number is shown for available tickets, not the specific column. Is there a way to see exactly where the seat being purchased is?
I may be wrong but I get the impression that Jordan Clarkson was asked to take on more of a facilitating and passing role the last couple seasons. IMO Jordan Clarkson’s value comes from being a shoot first player, the type of player that always has the green light to shoot and can be instant offense when the team offense is starting to go stagnant, acting almost like a pressure release valve. To me it looked like there were many times last season where Jordan would hesitate (and think about a pass) as he was putting up a shot, turning the shot either into an awkward shot or an awkward pass. I think this may be why his shooting efficiency has dropped over the last couple of seasons. If Jordan is allowed to take on his natural role as a shoot first player, he can solely focus on his shooting and efficiency, making him an asset to the team either as a trade chip or the spark plug that he has always been. Thoughts?
I was looking for karl malone 1999 mvp stuff and theres like no footage or speech ive come across of him when he got the mvp was it cuz of the lockout?

Didn't expect this, but Collin Sexton has the highest (See worst) defensive rating in the entire NBA. Clarkson is close at #10.
https://craftednba.com/player-traits/sieve
This one has Clarkson as the #1 worst defender and Sexton as number 11. Keyonte at 21.
That makes me a little bit worried. The only good defenders we have on this team are Kessler, and to a lesser extent Hendricks and maybe Cody Williams. That is a bit scary to me.
I really hope that Collier comes in and plays great defense so he can get some minutes this year, because we clearly need as much help on defense as we can get, especially at the guard position.
If we are planning on looking for a long term 1/2 guard to put next to Keyonte, I really think we should focus on getting a lockdown defender.
If orlando doesn't resign Jalen Suggs, I think he would be a perfect back court partner for Keyonte. Another could be Cade Cunningham if he eventually asks for a trade from detroit. He has great size, can handle the ball and shoot, and can defend a little bit. He would be able to play into his defense more on the jazz with another ball handler/scorer instead of handling the entire offense.
Dyson Daniels would be interesting if we could pry him away from New Orleans. I know they would be interested in Kessler, as they need rim protection and floor spacing, and Kessler has one with the potential of adding the other.
I wanna see your guys man caves with all your Utah Jazz gear. Put some pictures.
It seems like most are over JC. But if anyone thinks we should get rid of him please stop. He is all we have left of an era, and Loyal Players are so rare to us. We aren't competitive and shouldn't expect to be winning right now. People like JC are a gem for the state. And he is just a person. Would you want to move after setting a life up somewhere for 6 years? Not everyone wants to win 6 titles and some just love to be somewhere they are loved and where people appreciate the work and passion they put into something. He isn't our 6th man of the year. He is our 6th man of the decade!
He is loyal and we love him and all he has done for us. Lets do that!
I spoke with the mods first before sharing this, and thought it was a relevant topic due to taking a look at Keyonte George's game. I recently made a video looking at his offensive game, and saw some interesting things. He has really impressive touch that on floaters/runners and shot well off the dribble, but surprisingly struggled shooting off the catch. I also thought he showed some intriguing passing, but like many young guards was still learning what types of passes he can make against NBA defenses. Was also interested to hear what Jazz fans thought about Keyonte's game. Do you think long term he can run the point, or is he more of a combo guard? Looking forward to hearing what types of expectations you have for him this upcoming season.
I was quite enthusiastic about the new Utah Jazz in 2022-23. I believed the team was so talented that they could have jumped into play-off regular appearance just by leaving everything on the court as it is.
When I returned to follow the NBA these days, I found that the Jazz had a worse record in 23/24 and the rebuild isn’t over as I had expected.
So, from the POV of fans engaging with the team everyday, how really are the Jazz right now?
SI.com has the Jazz picking no.5 and selecting Nolan Traore with Ace Bailey still on the board. I don't think there is any chance it will turn out this way, considering the Jazz probably don't want to go with a small backcourt again with Keyonte playing one of the guard spots. Thoughts?
Keep in mind the playoffs only has 16th teams so if you are below 8, you actually have a below average defense whereas 8th in the regular season means you have a top defense.
2017 Jazz was 3rd out of 30 teams (90th percentile) in the regular season but drops drops to 7th in the playoffs out of 16 teams. (56th percentile)
2018 Jazz had the best defensive rating (100th percentile) in the league but drops to 4th in the playoffs (75th percentile).
2019 Jazz has 2nd best (97th percentile) but drops to 8th in the playoffs. (50th percentile).
2020 Jazz go from 13th (57th percentile) to 13th (19th percentile).
2021 Jazz go from 3rd (90th percentile) to 12th (25th percentile).
2022 Jazz go from 10th (67th percentile) to 10th (37 percentile)
2023 Twolves drop from 10th (67th percentile) to 12th (25th percentile).
2024 Twolves from 1 (100th percentile) to 7th (57th percentile)
On average over 8 years, Gobert led team defenses are better than 83% of teams in the regular season (great) but only better than 43% of teams in the playoffs. (Below average).
How come?
then they better commit and I want them to tank for every single game except for the in season tournament games. 🤷🏼 it’d give me something to look forward to at least.
I personally belive he could be the first option on a deep playoff run but number 2 on a championship contender. If we help him have good teamates a conference finals run or finals run is possible. But we need another superstar veteran point guard.
