USMNT All-Time 26-man Roster

Tried to make a 26 man roster of our best players of all time. Starters in bold.

Disclaimer: There is nobody pre-1990 World Cup because basically none of us watched them and it would be guessing based on stats and grainy highlights.

Forwards

  • McBride
  • Dempsey
  • Balogun
  • Altidore
  • Wynalda

Honorable Mention: Earnie Stewart, Joe-Max Moore

Wingers

  • Pulisic
  • Donovan
  • Weah
  • T Ramos
  • G Reyna

Honorable Mention: Cobi Jones (I'm devastated I couldn't fit my favorite player with the all-time caps record, but I don't think he was ever better than any of these guys at their peaks)

CMs

  • Bradley
  • McKennie
  • C Reyna
  • Adams
  • J Jones

Honorable Mention: John Harkes, Yunas Musah

OBs

  • Jedi
  • Dest
  • Beasley
  • Caligiuri

Honorable Mention: Jeff Agoos, Steve Cherundolo, Deandre Yedlin

CBs

  • Pope
  • Bocanegra
  • Dooley
  • Balboa

Honorable Mention: Tim Ream, Alexi Lalas, Desmond Armstrong (I know he played RB in '90 but these days he'd be a center back)

Goalies

  • Friedel
  • Howard
  • Keller

Honorable Mention: Tony Meola (only because of that glorious ponytail)

Who did I forget?

[Brian Sciaretta] Congratulations to Houston-born Fabian Hurzeler who has lead St. Pauli to the Bundesliga. - He took the head coaching job last January at the age of 29 and in a relegation battle. He orchestrated an immediate and phenomenal turnaround - Back in the day with the U.S. U-20s

Josh Sargent embracing the mother of Amber Sheehy after the game. Amber was an 8 year old fan who sadly passed away of cancer last week ❤️.

It's time to accept that Gio Reyna needs to go to the Eredivisie. Martin Odegaard did it and now look at him. Sometimes you gotta go backwards to go forward.
