I want to buy an unlocked android phone next year that is capable of accepting esim and is doesn't have to be new " 1 or 2 yrs old " and at least 6.7" and higher

I'm having a problem with my Lightspeed LTE line. About a week ago data and texts just stopped working. Maybe it needs reprovisioning? Any ideas on how to get it back working.
I have a couple of lines that have expired and I do not plan to renew them. How do I unpin them from the dashboard? When I click on the line, it takes me to the “purchase a plan” screen.
I activated my Black Friday free 30-day trial on Dark Star yesterday. I have 2 USM lines for my kids and wanted to test it for myself - I’m on Verizon currently. The Black Friday deal includes a whopping 2 GB of data, which I blew through in one day, now it’s useless.
What exactly is the point if I can’t compare data quality between my current provider and USM?
Why shouldn’t I just cancel this on day #2?
I've been transferring all my family to US Mobile, so far I've moved 4 lines over and there is more to come. This is a great service that I've enjoyed the support and quality so far. But I did run into something that not sure the work around.
What if I'm visiting somewhere outside the 180 countries where Roaming is available? right now wifi calling seems to be the only option with USMobile. But let's be honest, some of those countries not in the roaming plan doesn't have dependable power or internet. What happens then? will I get phone calls? will I be able to make a phone call from there ? support indicated that my phone will not work.
With all the major providers, outside of the 180 countries listed in the roaming list, you could receive calls and make calls, but at a high price and sometimes that is ok, when its an emergency or must be done. Curious if I'm missing something or something that has been reported and USMobile might be working on.
I switched to USM and purchased an annual plan with the annual QCI8 Dark Star add-on. At first, I teleported around for the fun of it, returning to Dark Star which absolutely rocks for me in SW Montana. Does the add-on automatically re-activate since I'm on Dark Star for good, or do I need to contact support?
Randomly my mom's cellular stopped working. She waited to Sunday to let me know. I've been on a text chat on the us mobile website for about 2 hours.
They keep having me try things related to refreshing caches, resetting default settings, toggling on and off configurations on her phone.
I am also on a discord call with my mom and walking her through these steps..
I just don't understand, it's been 2 months since I got US Mobile. Is this kind of issue common? I've never had to mess for hours around to get access to cellular before..
Should I just switch to Verizon?
I decided to go with US Mobile because it seemed cheap. But it's already taken 2 hours of my weekend on a call. That's 4 people-hours (me and my mom). Minimum wage in the US is $35.46. That's $141 in wasted time so far..
If this happens often enough, why would anyone use US Mobile?
Edit: minimum wage isn’t 35.46. Idk why google gave me that figure. Maybe I searched average hourly wage or something.
Oh, so Cash App is good enough for you to take my money, but when it comes time to actually activate the line, suddenly it’s 'not supported'? Are you kidding me? Then your rep tells me it’s because I used a prepaid debit card, but guess what—my wife used Revoult, another prepaid card, and it worked perfectly fine. So which is it? You guys just pick and choose when to screw people over? This whole process has been a complete waste of time. I had to go to Metro PCS, where, shocker, they didn’t throw up random roadblocks for no reason. Maybe take notes, because this nonsense makes me never want to deal with US Mobile again.
Can I move my current active line to the free black friday line for a month by just entering the sim number I'm currently using?
I have the auto pay on and was charged two days before my end date, as I expected. I did not expect to see it show my line was expired. I don't check the app often since it's something that just works. Luckily I did check a couple days after my start date, contacted support, and had it resolved. No idea what would of happened if I didn't notice.
So PSA for those coming up on the end of their free trials.
I signed up for the $250/year deal in 2023 for two lines on light speed. When I went to Japan in May 2024 I thought I had 150 minutes and 150 texts for international use. It didn't appear to work so after contacting support I was told that the plan I was on originally did not come with that international call/texts and additional data esim would be necessary. I had to use Wayback Machine to go back to what the page said back 2023 to see that it did in fact not have international roaming. A little confusing since the plan name was the same.
Anyway, I have stayed on this plan and now see under my account on the lines there is a Roaming tab that shows 150 min / 150 txt / 1gb data. So did these older $250/year plans now get this roaming option added on? I want to know for sure since I am going to Japan again in January and need to make an occasional call.
I contacted support and they said I do. But I just want an additional confirmation because by the time I need to call, it will be a little late.

I am wondering what other people’s experience has been with RCS on iOS 18 and above who are on Warp or a non US Mobile network which also supports RCS. To be clear on order to check if RCS is working you go to Settings > General > About scroll to the bottom where your eSIM is and tap on your “Carrier” version, if it only says “Voice & SMS” then RCS is not working on your line, if however it says “Voice, SMS, & RCS” then it’s active on your line.
I had RCS for a week or so after iOS 18 came out, then RCS disappeared until I installed 18.1.1, that gave me back RCS but only for a week till it disappeared again. During the last week RCS was working I really enjoyed it. At the moment I have 3 eSIMs on networks that support RCS, one of those being Warp on the Black Friday free 30 day line, another being a trial on a non US Mobile network which I had used RCS after updating to iOS 18, and the 3rd being my main line which I used RCS on for a week but is not currently on US Mobile either. RCS is missing on all 3 lines for some reason, which makes me think this may be a bug with the iOS implementation of RCS, but I am not sure.
I have tried multiple troubleshooting tips from disconnecting eSIMs, turning off RCS in messages, and restarting in certain orders, I have also done multiple Network Setting resets in iOS, but nothing seems to bring back RCS save for an iOS update, and that has prove to only be a temporary fix if that.
I would love to hear others thoughts on this.
I got the "VIP bundle" that comes with QCI8 for one year. I temporarily teleported into GSM to go on a trip and now I am back of Dark Star. I got in touch with CS to get the QCI8 reinstated. The first representative told me that it was automatic because I was on an unlimited annual plan. The second one told me that I needed to do it myself and pay, and when I told them that I already paid for the bundle, they said that they enabled it for me and I should see it in the orders page. I don't see anything in that page.
1.- Is there a way to confirm, without going through CS, that QCI8 is enabled?
2.- How can I go about getting QCI8 reenabled in the future without making it a hassle?
I have been eyeballing US Mobile for way too long now. I hear and see nothing but great things. Im just really nervous about switching for some reason. I have been with T-Mobile for years and I have no complaints at all. I currently pay $80 for two lines which is not bad in my opinion but looking to cut cost anywhere I can at the moment. Both lines hardly ever use any data as we are always home with wifi. Looking at the starter plans because although we don’t use much data I like to have it in the event that someday changes or I need to use my phone as a hotspot. I would love to stay on the T-Mobile network but not having RCS concerns me. Is RCS something that’s going to make a huge difference? How will it affect me not having it? I just don’t want my group text to send individually instead of inside the group with android users. Because of this my only option would be to switch to Warp, which in my area there’s no 5g only 4g. Not really sure how that plays out with priority data like will it still be priority if it’s 4g or no? I currently have a iPhone 12 pro max and iPhone 14. Both 5g capable and eSIM. Any and all feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
Metro by T-Mobile is offering a truly unlimited plan for $25 a month when you bring your own phone. First 35GB is premium, deprioritized after that. Biggest drawback is no hotspot. And they support smart watches.

I appreciate upgrading me from QCI9 to QCI8 on Dark Star in my previous post, https://www.reddit.com/r/USMobile/comments/1gwj6ae/upgrade_dark_star_to_qci_8roaming_question/; however I am trying to upgrade now following the instructions and it does say the following: "not valid for any lines in this selection". Does this mean am already upgraded? I just want to confirm since I was advised that customer support will need to add my plan permanently to QCI8 since I did not select it. I tried to do a speedtest and it would keep on spinning, indicating that am on QCI9.
P.S. Am really loving US Mobile I am planning to upgrade next month (or should I say next year) so I want to get this sorted out today if possible!

So, I made two successful referrals 12 months ago and was supposed to receive a $25 virtual debit card for each after they spent $50. The $50 was spent by sometime in March or April of 2024. There was no rewards card posted to my account. I inquired with customer service and they said it would take a while to post. Fast forward to now, and I check in on the situation to see that they issued the cards on August 20th but the cards have an expiration date of 11/24! Of course, today is December 1.
I asked customer service via chat to re-issue the cards with a 12/24 date, but all they would offer me was 1 months of service ($18 value).
I think it is ridiculous to: 1) issue debit cards with an expiration date 3 months out; 2) not issue the cards when you're expecting them to be issued; and 3) issue them randomly without so much as an email to inform that they've been issued!
Hi there. I'm currently on US Mobile and I'm about to switch my wife over as well from Verizon. When I go to "add new line" in my dashboard, I'm able to select which type of line I want (Unlimited Starter), but then it quickly asks me to "check out," which seems very final. I'm reluctant to click that "check out" button without having the option to indicate whether I want US Mobile to give me a new number or whether I'd prefer to port in a number from Verizon. I feel like I had that option when I signed up (before checking out), but perhaps I'm not remembering correctly. Anyone out there who has recently added a new line to an existing account who can reassure me that I'm not missing anything? Thanks!
I ported my number from Ultra Mobile to US Mobile on Friday on the Light Speed network but quickly realized there’s no service inside my home. I requested to transfer to the Warp network, but I’ve been stuck in transfer purgatory ever since.
I’ve noticed a few others here with the same issue, so I’m looking for any tips or assistance beyond the usual responses like, “Your transfer will be completed soon,” or “It’ll take another 1, 24, or 48 hours.”
Customer support was kind enough to provide me with a temporary number, but I just want my old number back as I use it for work and all my important accounts (2FA). Not a good first impression to be honest…

it’s a $5 difference, i know visible has true unlimited data on 5G uw but i care more about coverage and speed and the idea of being able to have access to all three major carriers is what’s making me lean towards US mobile any thoughts/opinions?
When traveling to Pakistan, how do I call US numbers (banks, friends) from Pakistan? I have Unlimited Starter on Light Speed.
Also, what difference does it make, if I enable or disable WiFi Calling?
I dont know why US Mobile decided to switch the way they bill multiple lines but when it comes to family accounts for the love of Christ can you switch back to the previous method! US Mobile used to just bill me once for all seven of my lines and now they individually bill me for all the lines and every time it happens the bank freezes my card cause they see multiple transactions from one source. Well it's a holiday weekend and I've been without my card for 2 days and it's Saturday so I have to wait one more day to talk to the bank and tell them it's a charge I authorized. I have a small bank so they don't have a 24 hour service I can just call. Thankfully I wasn't traveling back home or anything during the holiday break that could of been disastrous.
I switched my parents home phone over to USM and it has had it share of issues that I am slowly getting corrected. The issue I am now trying to fix is the delay for call waiting before it goes to VM, If they are on a call and call waiting comes in the caller only hears two rings then they get voicemail, my parents don't have time to switch calls before they get sent to vm. I called support and they are very nice but they gave me instructions on how to change the seconds before vm on the initial call but that doesn't change call waiting delay. Any suggestions? I have the atel base.
Wife had repairs done on her iPhone at Apple, and they replaced the main board, so sim and everything went away. She's been on two different services chats for the past 2.5hrs, where all they did was try to send QR codes and them being invalid. Is there any way to get a csr that actuals understands what needs to be done?
My daughter had an issue with calls and texts today. She spoke with a US Mobile rep and within a couple minutes her service was working perfectly again. Thank you so very much for the awesome support at US Mobile. Best of the best!!!
Just curious on why Lightspeed is the only network that doesn’t have access to priority data? 🤔 The other two have priority options where Warp has it included and Dark Star as an add-on. Is it T-Mobile the one not giving access to it at all?
