Very glad we can come together to celebrate the life of one of hockey's most fun loving souls. Wish a very wonderful night o all ushl fans, especially those in dubuque, IA.
Their entire recent stretch of away games, plus tonight's Homer against Omaha, was littered with games where the muskies either blow a lead or straight up sink like a rock in the first 2 periods, only to come back and either lose a close one, make a comeback to take the game late in the 3rd, or push an OT for the win. That's not a sustainable practice.
The owner of the Lancers has really drove the franchise into the ground. Now he has hired one of his buddies to take over as coach after firing two coaches already this season and the GM resigning.
I really hope Picozzi loses his ownership soon, he sucks.
I know we go for the hockey not the rest of the fluff, but I was disappointed in the Muskies entertainment side of things this weekend. Some friends and I came down for the weekend to watch the games. We were told the overall atmosphere and production at the musketeers games was usually pretty upbeat and fresh. I swear I heard the same songs played over and over both nights. Not to mention the awkward silences. Been to a few other venues and didn’t feel they were that unorganized. Anyways. What’s your favorite USHL venue to go to for games? Overall just good production and fun friendly atmosphere.

Why can’t we bet on USHL games in Ohio? I had a hunch on Youngstown before the season and now they’re 1 game behind Chicago for the #1 seed out of the East. I’m pretty salty
4 of the 5 top points in the league are on Chicago. Worth noting is that Celebrini has played 7 fewer games and still tied for #1.
Chicago hosts CR this weekend and it should be exciting with all top 5 scorers in the league on the ice.
I heard that they receive thousands of inquires each year. Any one here went through their selection process? I'm wondering how they select 30 out of 1000? Do they give chance to everyone?
