Hi,
I will be visiting UPenn for 3 months starting Match as a short term scholar. I need to find a place to stay for myself and my gf who will be joining me later. A one bed room apartment would be ideal. Is there any accommodations popular for people in my circumstances. Thank you for the help.
I haven't had time to read most of the textbook due to a reading-heavy semester. Is it possible to do well with minimal use of the textbook?
Hey im currently a drexel freshman and i wanted to trasnfer to penn for philosophy pre law i wanted to know how competitive the Coas is for someone with a 3.85 gpa and also how this would work since im transfering quarter credits.

What the title says
Hello, I am a female senior international student graduating in May and leaving Philly May 31/June 1 (TBD). I am looking for someone to sublet my apartment to until July 27 (end of lease date) or someone who would be willing to take over my lease. I live in a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment with a kitchen and living room space on the 42nd street.
The bedroom is fully furnished (double bed with mattress, bedside table, vanity with a chair, drawer set in the bedroom and a shelf unit in the bathroom). There is a closet as well. I currently pay $950/month + utilities for this unit but I would be willing to negotiate since I cannot stay longer.
For someone who is interested in the furniture, I am willing to sell it for a minimal price (everything is in a very good condition and most of it was bought less than 6 months ago).
My roommates are quiet and very friendly. The building is neat and neighbors are not disturbing.
Please reach out if you are interested.
Hi, I’m looking to sublet my room in a shared female only apartment as I graduate in May. It is furnished with a Full sized bed , arm chair and desk with its own bathroom. I am willing to sell my furniture at a discounted rate if interested in a lease take over. Pm for more information. Rent is 800 dollars
Wanted to know if there were any Wharton students who got in after doing A levels and what they did and how they did.
i’m a rising junior trying to figure out what to do about housing next sem. i'm really quiet and clean. open to meeting new people, looking for one or two others. msg me if ur interested :)
Hey guys,
I submitted my FAFSA and CSS for UPenn a day late. Not exactly a day late, but around 8 minutes late, but I know it still appears as February 2nd on their end. UPenn's website says that submitting the financial aid materials late won't affect our eligibility, but I just want to know what are the chances it comes with my admissions decision? Will submitting it a day late delay when I get my package?
Hi I’m female looking for a room to sublet from mid May to Early July. I’d like my own bedroom and preferably own bathroom, and for it to be close to campus. My budget is around 700-800 but price is negotiable. please dm or comment if your interested!
The only place I can get to is here: https://curf.upenn.edu/undergraduate-research/research-directory
But that's not the actual directory. How do I get to the real page? Any advice appreciated. Thanks!
Honestly it was my first time to see that (senior) the HW of a class is assigned on a platform that requires the purchase of a new textbook... Also she never, never replied to any emails... Anyone who took/is taking her class has any advice on that?
we are a group of sophomore guys looking for groups of 1/2/3 to combine w to room in radian, msg me!
Hiiii I’m a junior in high school in PA and I was wondering if anyone knows if they are running the thinking like an anthropologist summer program this year? I’m really interested in it and I know UPENN does other residential summer programs which would be great because I live in a very rural area and we don’t have anything else over here!!
Hello, I am trying to reclaim my room for Gutmann and just need one more person to make a full group of four. I made a similar post some time back but for some reason it got taken down. We are looking for a girl and would be happy to meet with you!
They're great and all... I just want to be aware of if I need to send more emails (I don't want to annoy them), or rest assured the LOR deadline is later than February 3rd on the LOR writer's side.
I'm asking mainly because I know some universities (like Cornell) tell students the application is due X and tell LOR writers it's due X + Y.
Currently a sophomore but since everyone is talking about rush and joining sororities, it made me think. Is joining possible as a junior next school year, and if so, is it common/accepted? Is it even worth it? I'm pre-med and I know pledge events take a lot of time.
Hi, so for context, I am currently a sophomore doing my undergrad at Florida international University majoring in finance. I plan on applying to deferred programs for my MBA senior year and I’m really attracted to Wharton but I kinda always hear horror stories of people getting great GMAT scores and have a great GPA but still getting rejected. What are some things I can do outside of relevant experience That could better my chances. And if you’re aware of any on campus programs, that may add to my profile please let me know cause I would love to work on campus.
the SEAS graduate admissions website clearly states that the bridge program requires one to be a US citizen / permanent resident, but the requirements in the student handbook don’t mention anything of that sort. is this option not open to international students?
Title. I'm in CIS, and I've been emailing faculty non-stop since fall sem and have gotten 0 positive answers thus far. I mostly get ignored, with the occasional "our lab is full". I feel my issue is that I'm cold emailing, but the thing is I don't know how to form relationships with Profs I don't take classes with to eventually get a research position. Idk I feel a bit defeated and need advice. For reference I've defo emailed 30+ people, probably a lot more.
The apartment is extremely close to campus (Chestnut and 39th), and has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (not sure how occupied it will be over the summer yet). Males preferred, and rent is pretty negotiable (800-900). PM if any interest, if you're on campus you can definitely come check it out. Will be fully furnished and should be fully equipped with anything you'd need.
Hi everyone! I’m looking to sublet a furnished studio or 1B1B from mid-May to mid-August. Ideally, I’d love to find something in the Rittenhouse/City Center area, but I’m open to other nearby neighborhoods as well.
If anyone has leads or knows of available places, please let me know! Appreciate any help!
I just completed my first semester of college as a freshman with one B and the rest As.
I have a 3.785 GPA
Could I transfer to the University of Pennsylvania Business School?
If anyone has taken BIOL 4615 Freshwater Ecology can you please let me know how exams were, I'm trying to gauge how much to study/ what to expect on the upcoming midterm 1.
I was admitted to Penn Carey a few weeks ago and am currently weighing my options at a few schools. If any past/present students would be willing to share their thoughts/experiences at the school, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
What are the chances of getting off the waitlist after the housing lottery?
Hi everyone! Looking to sublet two rooms in a 3bd in University City. Move in date ASAP. This apartment is right by the trolley and MFL, super close to Drexel and Penn! One bedroom has a private bathroom and the other room is MASSIVE for a Philly apartment. The rent is 690 per month plus utilities for either room. Queer friendly is a must, you’ll have one other roommate! Message me for videos and more details! Right near Sabrina’s!
Any opinions on the best off campus housing options?
