Hi Team, I have been offered a spot on the Masters of Project Management next year and the course looks ideal. I was offered a full-fee paying place, however I was hoping for the Commonwealth supported place instead?

Are the CSP spots limited or something, or do you need to apply separately? The $40k for the course is a bit harder to stomach, though I would be able to claim a tax deduction. (Anyone done the maths to compare?)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated , Is it possible to backdate industry experience after it was approved or will only the days after approval count, i need to finish IT as I’ve got a conditional grad role. I’ve been working in this startup since August and never really went to through an approval

I'm wondering if a course level affects the scheduling for its exam. For instance, are first year courses, with a significant number of enrolments more likely to be held closer to the start of the exam period?

In comparison, are higher level courses, for instance comp6###, more likely to be held towards the end of the exam period? I understand that there may not be a definite answer, but does anyone have any insights?

I noticed that a lot of students posted about comp1521 being scheduled on the first day of the exam period this term, and several students posted about comp6080 yesterday. So would it follow a similar trend across all faculties?

I intend to take comp6080 next term, but I also have something planned a year in advance that will likely be on the end of the exam period. Thanks in advance.

Submitted an assignment on time 2+ weeks ago, have already taken the final but haven't got my assignment pre exam grade back. Is this common? Should I follow this up. I found it quite hard and want to know if I did well in it/bad in the final or vice versa. Should I contact people?

Idk how popular these electives r in accounting cause I think most people just do the cpa prescribed electives. Only reason y I wanna do them is because they look like they have more maths than theory and rote learning. But idk anything about these two courses, so that's y I wanna hear y'all opinions on these courses in case u hv done them or ur mate has done one or both of them.

Has anyone had a good/bad experience doing 2 courses during a summer term? I’m planning on doing GENS1112 & PHYS1160 (which I’ve heard aren’t too difficult?) but I know the summer term is more of an intensive so just curious to see whether I’ll be screwed if I do this or not.

correct me wherever i am wrong but; how do australian students (i am from nz doing ncea) apply to take the Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine (BMed/MD) at UNSW when their application deadline is usually BEFORE the time their exam grades are released to determine their atar, which is used in the application?

i understand that even in NZ you apply with your level 2 grades/ year 12 grades/ equivalent year 11 grades in australia. but if the atar uses the grades of your last year in highschool (year 13 in nz) how does this application process work?

do students typically apply the year AFTER, when they do receive their atar ranking and then study medicine in the year after that year? all of that seems like a waste of time when these programs for direct entry are designed for students to get in asap after school.

and i also wonder if **conditional offers** are generally accepted or common, especially as a student from NZ who would like to apply for this degree next year in my last year of highschool, as my year 13 exam grades (where most of my credits lie in anyway) won't be posted until 2026 mid jan, which worries me because i would really prefer to be in university by that time. a

I just logged back onto myUNSW to look at the status of my IPT but I see nothing there, not even any record of me submitting it under the IPT or applications tab. Is it like this for everyone and supposed to be like this? I still have my IPT confirmation email so I know I submitted it. What should I do?

Also are the IPT results released soon after course results? I know the acceptance period is later but I just want to know the result

Hey guys, I'm currently enrolled in the Data Science course and I'm realising that it might have been a bit of a mistake but I still do like data science. Luckily I'm still a first year so I have time to switch degrees. I'm considering switching to Comp Sci with a math minor or Bachelor's of Science Stats Major and using comp sci electives. Any advice on what I should choose? Btw I'm not really interested in doing a double degree.

Hi everyone, I am currently enrolled at both Usyd and unsw but I was on program leave last semester at Usyd. I am extremely behind in my university progress because of a variety of personal issues, and was wondering if it could be possible for me to complete 12 uoc (2 classes) during the unsw summer term (they will be online courses) and maybe 6 or 12 uoc during the January intensive at Usyd? After the summer I want to discontinue my program at one of these unis and transfer the credit to the other uni. Is this possible? Or is there only a certain amount of credit you can take in a year total? I know each uni has its own limit per teaching session, but does that still count if you are taking courses at both? After the summer I’m going to discontinue one of the university’s so this isn’t going to be an ongoing thing. Please let me know if you have any advice, thank you :)

Hey, I got an an offer to a college and when completing the acceptance form it asks for a photo, are people using professional passport photos or taking the photos themselves that still match the criteria. They don’t specifically say you need to upload a passport photo so I’m unsure. You only get to submit a photo once so I want to make sure it’s good. Probably a bit of a silly query but anything helps!

What's our feelings - I didn't finish and felt it was a hell of a lot of work for 3 hrs. I had the page set up done before the exam so was only working on the unseen games and even then struggled to get it done

Hey guys, I'm gonna be enrolling in the Civil Engineering program next year as a domestic student and I am a bit concerned about the number of days I'll need to be on campus considering I live 2.5hr away by LR and train.

How does the process work for when you pick subjects for the first time? Do you get to pick when the subjects run? Is there a place where I can simulate this process for myself?

And if it is technically feasible for students to have days where they go in once or twice a week, is this only for the lucky few whose classes happened to fit this schedule?

I deferred my offer to T1 2025, where I have just completed 5 classes at my community college in the US. All of the classes have a pretty good lineup in the UNSW course equivalents. Only 2 would count towards my degree.
