Subreddit for the University of New Orleans, the Heartbeat of the Crescent City!
The University of New Orleans is an urban research institute located in the heart of one of America's most interesting cities. Also, this is not for Uno the card game, jeez!

Where do we go on Webster to check out final grades?
Is anyone still pending? I'm just assuming I'm one of the late batches!
We got action guys! My refund is no longer pending š„³š„³š„³ not sure how long it will take to be in my account but Iām happy

Graduating students will arrive at 8:30 AM to check in.
Spoke to AP today, they stated that refunds are processing and should be released and in our accounts by next week.
Asking again, anybody refund status changed? Or have yall talked to anyone? Tomorrow is the last day of the semester!
What happens if you don't pay your graduation fee? Does it mean you don't officially graduate and receive your degree?
This is the most unorganized university ever. So unprofessional, nobody can just simply do their job this is annoying AF!!! Why do yall have phones if nobody ever answers! Yall can't even answer emails. This is very disgusting!
Any update regarding you guys refund?
what would happen if i have to retake a class? and how would it fit into my spring class schedule?
can someone help me, I can't seem to pay my balance on cashnet and contacting the bursar is useless. first, i donāt even get the option for electronic checks even though i payed twice with electronic checks. im trying to pay two returned check fees and my past dues.
also in my transactions history, it says payment reversal for both of my payments, does that mean my payments didn't go through?
So for some context, this has been my first semester at UNO as a freshman and Iāve found it to be pretty boring. The campus practically is a ghost town for like most of the day and seems pretty dead. I know that there are a lot of clubs and organizations but I just donāt know where to start with it all and Iām pretty sure there are others who feel the same way and more in the future, is there any recommendations or anything to do, anything would be very much appreciated.
Judging from the posts in the past in this subreddit, UNO has a very lackluster student life and it really does show attending this school. Whole reason I posted was to just to see what was up in student life if anything, which seems to be almost nothing.
Hello mga Par, ask ko lang po? Sa may mga UNO banking Apps? loan? May Statement of Account po basi kayong nakikita sa LOAN section? Kasi ung sa akin is Balance lang ang nakikita ko once you clicked it ang lalabas lang ay yung Monthly amortization or due lang? Anyone can reply salamat po
Has anyone had their refunds created this week? Like does it say you have a refund pending or processing? Because my money is STILL in the unapplied payments section and has been for like 2 weeks and the semester literally ends next week like I do not understand what is so hard about creating a refund so it can be dispersed into my account. This is actually insane to have to wait this long, I just want to know is anyone else experiencing this issue?
What exactly have they been doing for the past year to nearly double the deficit and not fire or lay off the people who have no purpose.

Why did we have 13 Vice presidents in 2023?????? That comes out to around $1.4 million in salaries.
Hey everyone!
Next semester, I'm taking PHYS 1032 - General Physics II with Weilie Zhou. I can see the Rate My Professor page... which textbook does he use for this course?
Obviously, this can change, but I might have some time over winter break to glance at the textbook and make a study plan.
If anybody has the name/edition of the book, I would love to know! The syllabi online are outdated.
Additionally, I would appreciate any advice for his class and the corresponding lab. I have a learning disability, so I prefer to plan ahead. I'm not worried about failing, but I want to get an A in his class!
Ive been wondering if UNO does a rehearsal for graduation but given the hot mess this semester is and their initial intentions of cancelling this commencement I wasn't too sure if it'd even happen. Someone told me every semester it's the day before (finals though?) AND that's when they'd give students their latin honors cords.
Anyone heard anything about a rehearsal or should I start emailing everyone again š
Thanks y'all
Has anyone had a successful appeal for a parking citation? I have one for an unregistered vehicle and backing in. Sos
Hi, I just got a notification saying my aid was disbursed to the university but now I have dollar amount set under "unapplied aid" what does this mean? If it's a refund how long until I get it?
Am I the only one who isn't seeing anything posted for the final review even though he said he posted it?? I literally feel like I'm going insane rn š
Is anybody else getting one? I just check my statements and by surprise I see a pending refund
Hey everyone! If you're currently taking Dr. Beaton's Biopsychology class, heads up: do the course evaluation! He offers bonus points based on the percentage of students in class who complete it (90% of the class = 5 bonus points!). Itās an easy way to give your grade a little boost.
Even if you donāt personally need it, think about your classmates. This class is hardāsome students are really struggling to keep their heads above water. Your participation could be the difference for someone who needs that extra push to pass.
So, seriously, take a couple of minutes to fill out the evaluation. It helps Dr. Beaton improve the class, and you get bonus points in return. Win-win. Letās help each other out. Get those points, yāall! šŖ
What da heck they doin in there
I have a quick question about my financial aid, so 2 of my loans were disbursed and 1 of my grants were disbursed and they say applied payments, but my other 2 loans and my Pell grant are in the āunapplied paymentsā section, so whatever is in the unapplied payments section is what I would be getting for my refund right? or wrong?
This may sound weird but has anyone ever retake a class for the 4th time and still managed to get into grad school?
