I’m coming up to Charlotte tmrw to stay with a buddy for a night, where can I park my car and not get towed and preferably not spend 40 dollars
Hey! Has anyone taking software engineering with Sandra? I read she is a good teacher but Modson Dorochi is helping her with 3155. If anyone has taken it, how was the experience?
This is getting completely out of hand. I moved into my apartment on August 17th and Arcadia has yet to fix our units AC. We have contacted the leasing office and maintenance numerous times to see when they would have it fixed. They said it would take about a week…that was a month ago. Not only is the AC down but the thermostat does not work either. We have no AC or heating. Anyone else going through this? I’m considering legal action at this point.
Hey y’all, for the upcoming semester I will be taking BIOL 2130 and I wanted to take it in-person because I learn better that way. I have 3 options for professors who are offering in-person classes: MaryCatherine Cox, Jane Walsh, and Andrew Goff. I’ve only been able to find reviews for Goff. My overall goal is choose a professor from there 3 that has the easiest chances of an A. I have only been able to find reviews on Goff, and most of them say how hard his tests are which make me not consider him that much. Could someone who has taken classes with these professors offer your insights? Thanks!
I’m aware college isn’t meant to just have fun, yet I’ve lived my life always enjoying everything I can, so it’s an important piece for me when deciding if I should go here. I’ve got lots of friends at other universities, such as ECU or NCCU, and they seem to be really enjoying college rn, can I expect the same here at UNC Charlotte? I plan on taking my education seriously but i definitely require some leisure time so lmk are the people cool? Ans how fun is it here especially compared to other universities.
I lost my keys this week. My entire life was on those keys… car fob, dorm key, house key, etc. It has already been a stressful time trying to find them— searching everywhere on campus I visited this week. What makes it worse? The football game is tomorrow, I’m parked in Lot 25, and I am physically unable to move my car. I reached out to PATS tonight and they told me, essentially, I’m SOL and they can’t many any exceptions and are towing my car out of the lot in the morning. Now, not only do I have to pay for a new fob, but an $85 dollar towing fee because they “cannot make an exception for one student, and one student alone”. I knew PATS was a stickler for ticketing rules, but I feel like this is just downright cruel and kicking a man while I’m down. Has anyone had an issue like this before? Where do I go from here?
Small edit: I know everything is replaceable and losing my keys isn’t too big of a deal. I guess I just needed a place to vent about the situation and how poorly PATS treated me tonight.
I was walking around campus and noticed that the letter E was marked off by some green tape everywhere I go😭? Why is that? Does it have to do with ECU?? I’m just curious..
I plan to take Azhar Ahamad for ITSC 3160 online, has anyone taken him and have any advise he’s not on rate my professor so any advise is appreciated!
Does anyone know if the physics department at this school is just as bad academically as the chemistry department?
Hi, I am a first year student in UNC Charlotte and I am trying to find places that I can practice singing. I don’t really wanna do it in my dorm or in public spaces where I could disturb other people. I saw there’s a place called Robinson Hall on campus, but does it have practice rooms accessible to non-music majors as well? If not, can you guys suggest places where I can access individual practice rooms?
Hey I was wondering when and where the tailgate will be. I've never gone before and wanted to cross it off my bucket list. Also, are there any important rules or anything I should be aware of before going?
Hi everyone,
I want to know how much time it takes for ms it program to make decisions for its spring term anybody if you have idea pls share.

Hey everyone! I am in need of some survey responses for one of my classes and if any of you guys could take five minutes to help me out that would be great. Thanks!
Why are most of the “e”’s on campus covered with a green sticker 😭 Did I miss something or am I just out of the loop?
Does anyone know when they are going to release the acceptances for the nursing spring 2025 cohort?
I want to know which laptop is best for an Electromechanical Engineering Technology major. I want a MacBook, but I am worried that I will need Windows for this major. Any advice?
two days ago i made a post on here because i was pretty lonely and didn't really know what to do about it, but a bunch of super nice folks commented to let me know what kind of clubs i could join or just giving me some resources in general, so i wanted to just. kind of come back and give a shout out i guess? i'm gonna follow through and visit the ones i can. i think next week will be a better week, so thank you all
What elementary spanish II professor have you had that you’d say is the easiest/ most easy going when it comes to teaching for that level of spanish?
I need some elective courses for spring semester. I will be really busy with working full time and being full time student. I was just wondering what are some recent easy classes you took this semester or any easy A online classes preferably. I would really appreciate this if anyone can share some classes.
This is my schedule for next semester I’m worried it’s too much so any advise is appreciated! I have no general Ed’s because I completed them so core majors for me.
Saw a lot of cops and a fire truck and a guy on the floor. Whats happening?
Private room for rent
Campus Edge Cir, Charlotte, NC, United States
Hello!
I am looking for a FEMALE STUDENT to take over my lease at The Edge. It is available for immediate move in!
The units are currently on a waitlist at The Edge and you will be paying considerably less than the current $889/month. The lease you would be taking over has locked in the $719/month rate. Parking is only $10/month, which is the cheapest rate nearby, and it’s close enough that you wouldn’t need to pay for on campus parking. If you don’t have a car, it is only 25 steps away from campus. Electricity, water, and trash are included in the rent!! Please contact me asap if you are interested!
All units at the edge are 4 person units but you will have your own room and your own bathroom
Am needing some resources probably online or a person who can help get my kiddo thru Engineering statics class. There doesn't seem to be alot of help with the teacher or on campus where he is.
Does anyone know why there is only 1 section for some of the classes in the spring semester? And will more be added?
Idk what exactly led up to that, but from what I heard from other people, it was a fight of some sort. Hopefully whoever did it is held accountable.
anyone have any derm recommendations for this area ? or even within like a 45 minute drive ? (i have really bad hormonal acne)
Will I need to discuss this with my professor as I did not use AI, or will it not be a problem.
For anyone who has taken this course with him does he curve the class grade? Asking for a friend 😅
