So i used to go to classes regularly, sit in first bench go to library seat at the quietest place after class and head back home.

But now I HAVE CHANGED i am skipping classes last week i didn’t go to a single class. This week i just went to one. I missed too many classes and I have a lot of catching up to do. Today i woke up at 12pm missed 2 classes. I went to a class this week and I couldn’t look at my professors eyes cause I didn’t understand shit in the lecture(I usually answer to questions professors asks in class). I can study alone but I need to go to classes. Im scrolling reddit, insta, Snapchat mindlessly cause i don’t chat with anyone because i feel like i don’t wanna interact with people i only have 5-6 friends in uni thats it and i go to work.

I feel like i need one of those toxic asian girlfriends who forces their boyfriend to study and acts like a mom but then again i broke up like 6-7 months ago and been working on myself so i don’t have game on me too.

Idk im back in my shit self of ignoring people and getting isolated any suggestions on how i could change myself again? I need to get back to the Zone. Im pretty sure a lot of you went through the same phase.

Hi everyone currently I have undiagnosed adhd, but I am currently being treated for it by my family doctor and have a prescription for vyvanse. My therapist is pretty sure I have it as well, but I’m afraid that I won’t qualify for accessibility service if I’m not actually diagnosed by a psychiatrist, and getting a referral from my family doctor for a diagnosis from a psychologist will take months. Am I still able to take the disability form to my family doctor will I still be able to quality for accommodations? And if anyone has gone through this process before please let me know how it went for you! Thanks!

So at other institutions like UBC they have anonymous servers such as Piazza that students can ask anonymous questions and any other student or the course professor or TAs can answer your questions and it is better than the UM learn discussion because it is much more open and format those who struggle with the discussion features Piazza is easier to use.

How can we pitch this idea to UofM so that they implement this in all their class es as well?

This would benefit so many students as many students struggle on their own, have a dead telegram group chat or don't know how to send their profs an email. Sometimes the profs don't even reply. Through this platform you get fast and efficient responses from anyone who can help.

I am asking if anyone had tips to find work related to your field. I know you can ask professor and check out organizations related your field but everything seems very limited in terms of opportunity. Also any tips for finding regular jobs, I have tried job websites and careers fairs for office/professional jobs and low paying jobs (mall, stores) but I am really struggling. How are you guys doing with this??

Does anyone else agree that our “prof” cant teach? She sounds so confused at everything she is saying and always makes mistakes in the notes. And her re-writing what’s in the notes on a piece of loose leaf literally doesn’t help at all. We’re always so behind and the midterm is next week. I’ve resorted to YouTube videos to teach me cuz this is honestly so dumb.
