how do you do these things on c X/twitter wherein you press your pos (rectangular box) to lead you on your new post
My account recently got hacked despite my difficult password, and the hacker enabled 2 factor authentication. I tried contacting Twitter support, but didn't get a response.
I already reset my password, but I don't know if it logs them out of the account, and I can't log in due to 2FA. Is there a way to suspend or regain access to my account?
I don’t know what has happened to my account but my entire feed is full of people with eating disorders. I’ve clicked not interested and blocked probably around a hundred this last week and nothing has changed.
I haven’t interacted with them at all, I don’t follow anyone on that side of twitter. My entire feed is a mess and I honestly think it’s pretty damaging and concerning that this is allowed to happen. Imagine if I actually HAD an eating disorder and the algorithm was forcing this onto me?
Whenever I open up the report screen, it just shows some text about an error, with a checkbox saying "pretty print". The error text reads: { "errors": [ { "message": "Bad Authentication data", "code": 215 } ] }
How do I fix this?
And before anyone starts, no I don't want to hear anything about it not being worth reporting anyone or whatever
How to recover account? I was stupid when I went on 3 months social media detox and deactivated all my socmed accounts. Not knowing you have to reactivate within 30 days or else it's gone "forever". Can I still recover it?
Any time I search for anything NSFW no tweets show up at all. Is there a way to remove this block? I've got the setting that shows sensitive content on but still when it comes to searches there's nothing.
Over a week ago, somebody in another country hacked my Twitter account and added Two-Factor Authentication to my account where I didn't have it before. I was able to change my password within a couple hours and there haven't been any changes to may account since, but now I can't get into my account due to the Two-Factor Authentication. I've contacted Twitter Support, both through their Two-Factor Authentication form and their Hacked Account form. Every time they would send me an email asking me to do something or send them something, but when I replied with what they wanted, I never heard back. I filled out the forms seven times and I've sent like eleven replies, but I haven't received anything back from them, and its been like a week and a half. Does anybody know how to get Twitter Access Support to respond to my replies so I can get my account back?
So I can use X, see feeds, posts of other accounts, search, and get notifications but when I try to go to my profile page it just rest at the top of screen on IPhone and I can’t scroll down and it freezes the app. It works on desktop issues, but the iPhone app is the problem.
I have to close the app and restart whenever I do this. Anyone run into or have some solutions?
I made an account yesterday and it worked well but now any time I try to post or reply it says "failed to send" or "invalid content".
This happened out of nowhere, it's also not letting me like, save or retweet posts
This is one of the weirdest situations I have ever found myself in. So, I had a twitter account of roughly 2.2k followers, a mutual of mine that I hadn't interacted with for quite some time suddenly messaged me and told me he and a couple of his friends accounts reported me for crypto fraud, because one of his friends clicked on a crypto scam link and now 16,000 $ were gone from his metamask trust wallet. For some reason???? they thought it was me doing it (I have not the slightest interest in crypto and my account wasn't hacked), so they mass reported my account, and successfully so. However, they recognized their mistake and so this mutual messaged me and told me that if I didn't fix that, my account would be permanently suspended and law enforcement would be activated because of fraud. He told me I needed to have a discord call with some guy (whose name I forgot), I thought that was suspicious, but I recognized that my account would indeed be suspended because of these guys' stupidity. So I just deactivated my X account in advance to escape this whole thing. I am absolutely baffled about this whole affair and I have no idea what just happened and neither what to do now. Should I have just got on that discord call? Will Law Enforcement now investigate me, despite me being innocent?
So basically the username I want is unavailable but the account doesn’t exist. It previously belonged to a suspended account for many years before the person changed it.
Does anyone know how long Twitter/X will hold this username until it becomes available again?
Thanks
I want to delete old posts I've made on Twitter but they don't load. Do you need a check mark to view them? Even if I use the search engine it doesn't go past a few months to a year. I figured it was bc my app wasn't up to date but even now I still can't get it to work. And it doesn't work on pc. Do I need to pay to veiw this option?
The person removed my phone number, the email was changed, and they changed my handle.
How do I even recover it at this point? 2Fa wasn’t enabled cause it’s a paid feature.
But I did have an email linked and phone number prior?
Help Please
I sent a request to join a community a bit more than a week ago and yesterday I personally asked the mod if I could join, they said yes and later told me that they had approved my request but it's still pending for me and they can't find my user when looking through the requests, is there a way to cancel the request to try again or a solution to this?
Yesterday, my twitter web layout suddenly changed into this weird thing and it's really uncomfortable
The strange thing is that it's only happening on one of my twitter accounts
Does anyone else have the same problem? How do I change it back to the original layout??
I just opened the app and clicked like, and suddenly it asked me for human verification, and then flagged me. It's not even a nsfw post or political post. Just a random anime art . What do I do now?
Today I tapped on the video tab for the first time. It started with a very annoying video that I definitely didn't want to see. I could find any mechanism for telling Twitter that I'm not interested in it.
Is the video tab related to the content of the “For you” feed, or is it independent?
So, I've been using Twitter (X) for over two years now, starting in 2023—long after Elon Musk acquired the platform. Of course, I am a non-premium user, and I’ve noticed a significant difference in engagement between my two accounts. My political posts on this account struggle to gain traction, receiving fewer views and followers, while my other account, where I post erotic captions, gets significantly more engagement. It seems like X’s algorithm prioritizes and promotes adult content more frequently than thoughtful or quality posts, at least for non-premium users. This raises questions about how content visibility works on the platform.
I've been monetized for almost two months, I have 28k followers and my metrics are great, I've seen people with 5k followers being paid more than $300 and all they do is praise Twitter and Elon, how much l've been payed? $20, for only one week, they haven't payed me in a two months, of course I contacted support on December 26th, they replied until January 16th, and their response was something completely different to my issue they're literally stealing money from content creators and nothing we can do
It seems like everyone in the group chat can add people even though I am the only admin, is there a way to change this? I don’t want people inviting others that might not have a good relationship with the pre existing members.
Is it possible to connect X and Instagram Threads so that when I post on X it will automatically post on Threads?
I am getting mixed messages from my searches online about this.
Thanks

This thread is for your support questions, discussions, self-promotion, subreddit feedback, or anything else.
IF YOU ARE POSTING ABOUT UN/SUSPENDED, LOCKED OR AGE-LOCKED ACCOUNTS (PROBLEMS & QUESTIONS), THIS IS TO BE DONE IN THIS THREAD ONLY.
Stand-alone threads about Twitter Account Suspensions or Twitter Account Locks are unwelcome anywhere else in this subreddit. They *Will Be Removed* and Locked.

Don't forget to read our FAQ, and if you have information to add to it or something that needs updating, please feel free to make those changes!
While r/Twitter aims to be a community to help other Twitter users solve problems with the service, this also isn't the ideal place to ask support questions.
Support questions are preferably asked in this "Open Discussion" thread. If you've posted a thread asking for help and no one has responded, you may have better luck asking your question here instead.
If you do have a functional (meaning: not locked or suspended) Twitter account, it can't hurt to let @ TwitterSupport know of your problem directly on Twitter dot com.
If you are looking to promote your Twitter account to others, ask for followers, or any type of self-promotion, you can do so in this thread only.
The volunteer moderators who guide the direction of this subreddit rely upon the feedback of the community in order to make it a more perfect place on Reddit.
Feel free to give that feedback in this thread, or if you'd prefer to give your feedback in private, [send a private message to the subreddit modmail.
If for some unholy reason you need to see past open discussion threads, they are available here
So a couple days ago I got this DM from an account I follow that does graphics/edits as commissions asking if I had family or friends that also use my account, that he got DM'd a shady link, clicked it, got scammed out of $353, and needed me to contact Twitter support over Discord in order to have a supposed report that they made to my account rescinded. They said I needed to change my email to be sure my account would be "protected" from suspension by being made part of "X's database". So I changed it. I know, that was pretty stupid, but the only reason it worked is because there was a suspicious login to my account from Perrysburg, Ohio a few days before, so I figured the message I got sent about some dude getting scammed out of $300+ via a DM my account sent was plausible, circumstances just kinda aligned like that.
Had anyone else here gotten scammed like this too, and if so, what's the easiest way to do it without shelling out 300 or so @#$%ing dollars to some lowlife fraudster in the Philippines? Have tried filling out a report to Twitter that my account was compromised and had the email changed but haven't heard anything back in days.
