Hello, I have two buddies who 1 wanted to stream, now the other (his twin) is streaming. I asked them if we could figure it out how, would they be interested, the answer was yes.
My question is: when they both play the same game, What’s the simplest way to have both their games displayed on the same stream? Like a split screen type setup.
They sit right next to each other so having mic inbetween them would be simple fix for hearing both.
Basically I'm trying to buy a mic to stream on my PS5 and I've narrowed it down to these 2. To the people who have used one or both, what was your experience like and which would you buy?
I work 2 jobs that both have pretty inconsistent schedules (One has to schedule around the other, which will sometimes put me on late in the day) and I can never figure out when I can find the time to stream. It kind of demotivates me from streaming and makes it pretty hard to build an audience. How do you guys find the time to stream amongst a busy schedule?
So I am completely new to streaming and I did my first stream this morning for 3 hours. I dont really know a ton about streaming, so I was wondering if these starting stats are good for a first stream. I dont have any tik toks your youtubes linking people over to it, so its discovery was just plainly twitch. I do have great quality mic and camera, and my stream does not lag at all, and I talk very well, but still. . .
I had 2 average viewers and 4 unique viewers and 6 people who were watching other (I have no idea what that means) overall it said the stream had 22 views total. I had one guy that was in the chat the entire stream, and was really fun, so I modded them (they seem trustworthy). So far I only have 1 follower, and I think it was that guy. Is this OK for a new stream? Thanks :)
I wanted to do an IRL watchparty at my school for Worlds. Do I need a public viewing license for that?
We're a small indie game studio of two people trying to stream some of the game dev process. Some days it will be me streaming and some days it will be our co-founder, and some days it will be both of us together on the same stream (remote video podcast style).
It should be from the same IP, but we will have cams and it'll clearly be different people streaming.
Is this allowed on Twitch? Any examples come to mind?
We don't want to break any TOS and some google searches didn't produce a very clear answer.
Hey everyone! I've been using opus clips to clip my streams and I gotta say I'm not liking it so far. It gives these bazar descriptions and titles that are too aggressive for my content. Is there a way to edit it so you can put in your own titles and description? I've looked online and the only info I could find was how to change the captions, not the titles or descriptions. Or, if anyone has any suggestions of other editing tools that I can use that are cheap or free I'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks!
Ever since the major redesign a couple of years ago, the user experience has gone down so significantly it's not even funny
It seems like there's no intention of addressing these issues as if Twitch fired all their developers which is extremely disappointing, especially because there's no way to roll back to an older version before the overhaul
Hello,
Maybe there is someone here who could help me...I have problems with streaming. I bought a Razer Kyio Pro Ultra camera especially for streaming on Twitch but when I start streaming the camera looks pixelated around the stream (the gameplay doesn't).
Also, when I want to change the scene in the stream in OBS, the program crashes, even though there is hardly any load on the PC.
Thank you in advance for any help!
Is anyone else noticing their connections aren't showing as connected? My ubisoft, BSG, and other launchers connections aren't showing on the twitch page but when i click "connect" they're all connected, and I'm also not seeing any progress on current campaigns.
Thanks!
The movie in question is called "Begotten" from 1989. The whole movie is on youtube for free. Now here's the catch, I dunno if I am allowed to stream it.
The movie features a lot of disturbing imagery like gore (fake ofc) and a bit of nudity.
Should I risk it? Or can you suggest other horror movies that are fine to stream on Twitch?
Ive never streamed before and am at a hit of a lose and wondering if anyone has a good recommendation on how to set up a streaming setup. I have a rose podmic and a zoom h6 and a canon dslr with elgato capture card. Any good tutorials on how to set that all up? My main question is need answered is hooking up my H6 to my computer.
Mostly title. I'm sure a lot of engagement and growth comes from throwing some money into it. Would paying someone to give my content a more professional look and feel be a better way to spend or would my money be better used to promote my existing content on TikTok/YouTube?
Hi I'm YN that started streaming a year ago every stream I get on average 0 views per stream and I have 30 followers on twitch where I'm 25 of them, 4 of them are my friends that i always stream with and other one is probably bot.
What I don't understand is what I'm doing wrong. I have a Webcam, social media (yt with 36 subscribers AND NO ITS REAL PEPOLE)and I have pepole to stream with all the time
Now what i think I do wrong I'm not that consistent I stream when I feel like it (few times a week) I have annoying voice (sure it's just my age right?) I don't speak English because my friends refuse to do that (I know this is probably what's making me unwatchable but I can't do nothing about it)
Sorry for bad English like I said I'm not native, I come from beautiful place behind great wall of China and close to Caspian sea. A place called Bosnia and Herzegovina
If yall have any tips or know what I'm doing wrong please let me know.
Yall can be strict with me just like don't hate and that typ sh.
so when im live on twitch for the past few times its shown nothing but a black screen, audio comes through but no video, but after i end the stream it shows up with the video, any idea whats going on with that? also dual streaming and no issues on the youtube side with it
Hi everyone,
Im trying to get the chat from my twitch to overlay on the game I’m playing on mobile but I can’t seem to find anything, I’m using an iPhone 11
I need some help. I uploaded a bunch of video elements to make an overlay for my stream. However the video elements will often freeze, or more so not show up at all, when switching to the tab in the overlay editor. This happens to the labels, chat background, and window border, but it never happens to the background video.
The problem persists even in OBS, so it isn't my browser specifically. I have tried changing hardware acceleration but can't figure out why it's doing this. Refreshing the page always fixes it, but my transition stinger isn't long enough to give time for OBS to refresh the browser every time I switch to a given scene, so I would prefer to keep them always active otherwise my viewers get total blackness and then everything just pops in which defeats the point of the transition entirely.
How do you get discord to say you are live using either Streamcord or YAGPDB in other peoples discord channels? I have seen it notify of non owners in other discord groups and curious how to get this working.
Saw it in my stream manager for mod actions, it says wizebot turned it on then off. Why would wizebot randomly do that?
I’m using a Yeti Orb and while I stream either through OBS or Twitch, my mic will occasionally make buzzing sounds during streams. I’ve tried looking up how to fix it, but I couldn’t find anything and was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it.
I haven't watched any streams for twitch drops before and have heard the system can be dodgy, I was wondering if using the twitch app would count my time more reliably than the browser version would. The streams i want to get the drops from start at a very late time in the country i live in because of timezone stuff and i would like to try leave the stream going while i'm sleeping. I would love to know which steps i can take to avoid issues while having the time count properly while i am not present on my laptop.
Thanks in advance for any help
I'm a smallish streamer with a "first" redeem in my stream. I post 5-10 minutes before I go live and a bunch of my regulars are always there before/when I start my stream. For the past 3 weeks the same user has gotten the first redeem every single time aside from a single instance. I thought it was kinda weird that they were able to get it every single time so for the last week I've been going live without the 5-10 minute announcement beforehand and having my roommate and a friend of mine trying to redeem it, but the same person has still been getting it every single stream. My buddy even had an autoclicker setup spamming it.
This is obviously a very minor issue, and it's not something I care about enough to do anything to the viewer who's redeeming it every time, but I would like to know how they're able to do it since they're clearly not just out-clicking everyone to redeem it first. Is there some sort of exploit that allows them to do it, and anything I can do to prevent it without punishing said viewer?
It seems that Twitch nowadays isn't cutting it for me. I have tried a lot of things to try and get my channel out there but haven't had any luck. Am I doing anything wrong? What are some things I should try to help grow not only my channel but my community?
I know that everyone is probably tried of talking about this but is it as bad as everything you heard on YouTube saying it is
Hi there,
I'm wondering how to have a chat guessing game like what I see some streamers have for Phasmophobia, where they can open guessing, people can guess a ghost/random, close guessing, etc...
I have tried searching but haven't been successful in finding anything.
Thanks
Streaming and almost any content creation is oversaturated nowadays. But I love it. I play competitively in every game I play for the most part 2K, COD, Multiversus, Fortnite. I also stream a variety of other games. I’d consider myself a funny person, and that’s the type of content I provide: funny, competitive gaming with reactions, chat segments, etc. I’m also planning to get into some IRL content soon. Since I'm competitive, my goal is to be the greatest streamer to walk the planet. I think creators like Kai and Speed set the bar extremely high; Speed is the biggest streamer globally, and Kai is the most creative mainstream streamer out there. My big question is: Even though this career is oversaturated, should I keep pursuing it, or should I try to find or create the next wave of online entertainment? And what do you guys think could be the next big thing I should jump on first or create?
LAST THING: IF I WANT TO BE ON THE CALIBER OF THE TOP STREAMERS I MENTIONED OR BECOME THE BEST STREAMER, I HAVE TO PICK A NICHE THAT APPEALS TO EVERYONE, BUT EVERYONE IS DOING THAT, SO I WON'T STAND OUT. THIS IS WHY THIS IS A HARD TOPIC TO UNDERSTAND FOR ME, AND WHY I NEED HELP/ADVICE.
Hello everyone,
I'm very new to this and I am also quite paranoid, so I wanted to check if anyone has had thos experience and can tell me what in the world is going on?
Recently, a person who appears to be a bigger streamer has reached out (not through Twitch, but discord) to befriend me out of no where. They seemed legit, but now I'm a bit unsure with this new information.
Skipping the little details, they seemed to be trying to push something called "Channel Broadcaster" on me, saying it is a 'special agency' that can help with my twitch growth?
They said, and I quote: "Channel Broadcater are special agency that helps content creators and streamers like us to improve engagement and boost our presence on the content creating platform through growth strategy and support, meant more interest led audiences and also get into more amazing community."
And if they didn't give me enough red flags, when I asked if they had an official web page, the person said yes and they took a very long time to get one to me (after I had to ask directly for it a 2nd time mind you).
When they gave me the link, I dare NOT click it in fear of what could happen, but I tried to google it and low and behold, nothing showed up.
For anyone who this has happened to, the link they suddenly gave me was sites.google.com /view /webwhiz-company and it said "your track to success" with so weird logo that was a mixture of greens and blues. (So naturally I google webwiz company and nothing popped for anything official)
If anyone needs screenshots, I can provide them. I just really want to know what is going on?
Am I being overly paranoid and this is actually something legit or is my intention correct?
If I'm right, do I need to take actions against this person. If so, my apologies, but how do I go about doing so properly so no one else has to deal with this?
I do apologize if I'm all over this place, but again, I'm new to all of this and only just recently got my affiliate status. So I'm probably trying to be EXTRA careful.
Thank you to everyone who can assist me!
Heyo, I'm Katali~! I've been on a break from streaming for over 2 months now, and I wanted to get back into the game by streaming this Halloween~!
I wanted to play the game "A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead", which has a microphone detection option within the game to alert the monster of the player's location.
As the title says, I want to create a Channel Point Redeem using Sound Alerts that plays an audio clip and sends that clip through my mic, into the game, to alert the monster.
This would be a fun addition to add for my community to make the game more challenging where they can redeem the sound clip to troll my run through the game~!
I was told this can be accomplished using Voicemeeter Banana, but despite watching numerous tutorials and reading on past posts, I can not find a solution that helps me set this feature up. I've seen videos of other people who were able to do this type of feature for their own streams, and I'd love to bring that for my own community.
Most tutorial videos I've seen do not go into further detail, and only do basic setups, and other videos do not cover this feature in mind with Twitch (they usually do music into a game instead).
If anyone is able to help with this, I'd really appreciate a step by step process, or a proper video tutorial that specifically covers this feature. It's pretty late in the month with Halloween just around the corner, so I'd love to get this figured out as soon as I can~!
when alowing some permissions including screen recording they said they would have access to everything that is in my screen including credit card information passwords and more, what do you guys think about that?
