My band (tin whiskers) is looking for a bassist. Rock music. Dm me if interested!
Used to be (and still to some extent is) avant garde stuff at Icehouse. Got John Zorn randomly at the Walker last year. Get some odd stuff happening at the Cedar. Other places I should be paying attention to?
Hey there! We’re a local band, We just dropped our new single Karma (Dear Bob)! Give it a listen!!!
Hey there, I'm an out of towner who makes some pretty unique microphones using old steel beer cans from the '70s & before they switched to aluminum, and I'm in search of a music store in your area that may have interest in selling handmade mics like these.
The Twin Cities and surrounding MN areas had a ton of these steel cans (breweries like Schells, Hamm's, various events/holidays in your town like this weird 1980 Jest Fest full of clowns, and even a Vikings ginger ale). Those are just a few; there's a mind blowing amount of MN cans in my garage.
Anyways, any ideas appreciated! My search has turned up a bunch of Music Go Rounds and school rental/lesson type places, but I'm looking for the type of place that has the ever-evolving gear & pedals selection.
Hey I'm a Minneapolis producer/DJ wondering which clubs or bars have local EDM artists play and might be good places for me to look into. Thanks!
As the title says, I’m wondering if there’s any decent festivals around the area? Jam bands, funky/ reggae music is ideal, though I don’t hate the electronic scene

Hi everyone. I just relocated to the twin cities area 2 months ago, I previously lived in Switzerland. While it was and still is not my main source of income, I was working there as a part time live audio engineer for different companies, clubs and bands. I am looking for similar "occupations" in the twin cities area. Here to ask whether you know someone that knows someone that is looking for "volunteers" with such a background. Would also appreciate pinpoints into directions where I could place such posts better.
Important to note: As I want to do this as volunteer work, I cannot accept offers where I am going to (partially) replace individuals that do this for a living. I know very well how hard it is to make ends meet in this industry, therefore, please be aware that in such a situation I will not accept your offer - instead ask for low customary pay to make sure that I do not water down the already low pay. Also, I do not want to work for causes of political or religous nature. Thank you.
