I am seeking a new Captain for Tutshill Tornadoes as your summer captain had to step down to focus on other things.

Please comment below if you are interested in being a Captain for this team. You would be responsible for maintaining the sub and the official roster, and informing your teammates of any news. You will also be given access to your team's personal gameboard to run practices through.

Also you'll get to decide if you want to stick with my mispelling Tornado sub or if you want to transfer to /r/Tutshill_Tornadoes ...

Well, we didn't win the final, but we made a gosh darn good stab at it. I'm proud of all who were able to participate.

After some technical difficulties, The Harpies won the first round, but we came back to win it in an intense second round. But the Harpies came out and won the third round.

I would also like to take this time to announce that due to life circumstances, I am going to step down as captain. That doesn't mean the end of the team at all! In 2 very close rounds, the Tutshill Tornados defeated the Barrenheim Behrs!

As a result, we will be going onto the finals and playing the Holyhead Harpies.
They may have only played one match, but they are fierce competition.

I want as many of you there as possible!

This afternoon we played two rounds against the Quiberon Quafflepunchers and won. The Quafflepunchers played an excellent game and I'm sorry to see them go.

The semifinal match will be against the Barrenheim Behrs at a time to be announced.

The Head of Magical Games and Sports is hosting an open practice in #TheStands for anybody interested this Sunday, starting at 10AM CDT (UTC-5).

The open practice will be about 5 hours, and will end before the Match between the Chudley Cannons and Berrenheim Behrs, which I encourage you all to watch!

If you haven't been to a practice yet, I highly encourage you to go and stick around as long as you can; it's more fun if there are more people.

You all have my sincerest apologies.
I haven't been the most active lately. Real life got in the way and I lost 3 weeks where I wasn't really online, this has been my first real chance.
I have a few people I need to contact in the morning and then I'd like to work on scheduling some practices so that we can learn our way around the board and what works best for us.

I hope you've been keeping an eye on /r/Quidditch_World_Cup in the meantime.
Our first trio of matches is August 8th against the Quafflepunchers, exact time (and possibly date) will be worked out as we approach the date.

Apologies again, I hope to get things going in the next week, somebody nudge me if I don't. :P

I haven't been around as much as I should. Sorry for that.
I got a bit of internet burnout and took a few days off to recenter myself. My personal life also got rather busy, which contributed.

#On to Quidditch!

If you've been to /r/Quidditch_World_Cup recently (which I encourage you to check at least once a week) there's a new post about scheduling from the Head of Magical Games and Sports.
A new schedule has been made up to account for differences in team sizes:

We are currently in the 7 & 8 Slot.
We will be playing the amazing Quiberon Quafflepunchers sometime around Tuesday, August 4th (scheduling is flexible within a few days.)

If anybody wants to walk through how the game works, leave a message down below and we can work out a good time to do that.

It'd be awesome if we could get everybody together for a run through as well and start working on some strategy.

Founded in 1520, the Tutshill Tornados are based out of the Village Tutshill in West England, near the Welsh bordertown of Chepstow. We have one the League Cup five times in a row, which is a British and Irish League record, we also hold the record for fastest ever win in a league match against the Caerphilly Catapults in 1921.
