Yes, he needs a nail trim. He’s a severe trauma doggo. It took me an entire year for him to learn to trust humans again. He’s got physical scars all over his eyes, abdomen, and lower legs. I truly think he was tortured. He was completely emotionally shut down and hopeless when humans were around for a whole year. I never stopped trying. I cried when he gave the most uncertain tail wag and nose kiss. 

The level of fear that a nail trim gives him is terrible. He regresses to fear aggression. So we do them under anesthesia.
