My son just started driving last month. He's finally able to bring his Tuxedo heathen... Oops sorry precious fur son with him next week. What is the best, most reasonably priced, easiest to work with, least amount of smell kitty litter? (My son has ASD so sometimes has problems with smells). He's asked me to get everything together & I've found some fairly nice containers that he can store on his bunk and move easily.

Anyone have done a rider with your cat in one truck? How do you manage space? Where do you put litter box?
Right now I have litter box in front of passenger seat, it is a Volvo vnl 760, the draw on the floor in the sleeper is not big enough to fit litterbox. Guess I just have to move the litter box when passenger is in the front.
So my boyfriend is currently doing OTR and I plan to join him soon. We’re having a dilemma deciding if we should bring our cat or not. For starters I don’t know if i’m being biased because I can’t imagine being away from her for extended amounts of time. Also an important note to add she does have a safe place to stay and be taken very good care of. Anyways I really think she would do amazing going with us. The last few times we went in the car she sat in my lap instead of being in her carrier. She doesn’t freak out in the car. Anyways on to the dilemma my boyfriend is almost refusing to bring her because he’s scared of us getting into an accident and her getting hurt/lost. We have an air tag collar I planned to keep on her however I have no solution for her getting hurt if we were in an accident. How do you guys deal with this? Is it just something worth risking?
So my little goblin started sitting on the dash during working hours. When I get to a shipper/receiver he'll hop into the sleeper after staring at anyone he sees. Then he'll wait until after I have checked in, and in the dock to ask for treats
Remove the fuses for door controls.
This is for longer trips away from the truck, I'd keep them plugged in for daily operation.
Just got a 2025 Cascadia from my company with no bunk heater, so I now rely on opti-idle (with key in the on position) to keep the truck heated when parked.Unfourtnately this also means the window controls are active. Previously I'd just use the bunk heater and turn the truck off, and not have to worry about my buddy opening the windows while I was away grabbing a shower, shopping or doing laundry.
So I thought about it, looked up a video, identified the fuzes and pulled em. Presto changeo window buttons now inoperable. Of course this will also disable your lock buttons and key-fob activity so you will have to manually lock and unlock the door. But a small price to pay for the peace of mind.
Franklin and I are just doing our best to make it home in time for the holidays
Shut down watching two flatbeds, a refer, some oversized load, and the random 4 wheeler try and back into 2 spots.

Hi friends! My partner and I are relatively new on our truck still and to the trucking lifestyle, but are hoping to bring our cat onto the truck soon. We were wondering if anyone had any tips and tricks as far as storing the litter box, dishes, etc for the little furry babies.
We were thinking that maybe we could get a large box that’s both deep and covered for the top bunk, with a litter tray/mat underneath, but are at a loss as far as food and water. 🥲
Also! I’ve heard through the grapevine that window buttons need to be covered and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on that as well!
This boy has gone full floof with his winter coat
I too have a matching necklace. The things you can get on AliExpress for like 3 dollars
This is where he rides..... and sleeps
Hi, I'm living at a caravan park and I'm wanting to adopt a cat. I'm wondering how I might deal with a litter situation. I'm near major roads and train tracks so I don't know how I feel about letting them out unsupervised. I was thinking about making some sort of active ventilation system, I have a large mainly unused storage space under my bed, I was thinking about making a sort of "chamber" where there's an access flap, into a space with the litter box, and a fan facing outside (with a mesh) to blow out the stink. I could then lift the lid of the storage for cleaning and emptying daily. What do you guys think?
