Anyone Catch Trout On a Beetle Spin?

Just spent a couple hours at my river trying out my Beetle Spins and didn’t have a bite at all. Could have been weather as the bite has slowed down a bit here, but this was my first time trying these here so I’m not sure. Is the wire enough to spook them? If I remove the spinner and just jig the grub body will that be more effective?

    Fishing in chilly weather

So I want to go fishing on tomorrow but it's gonna be like 35-50 degrees outside. Idk if that's too cold. The river I'm going to mainly has brown trout but there's other trout. If I did go what lures/bait should lure I should use.

    Weight and species?

Caught what I think is a cutbow in an unstocked lake around 10,000ft elevation. Will someone help me estimate weight. Healthy quick release for someone to catch again :)

    Wild Golden?

Is it possible I caught a wild Golden? I've never seen one stocked so small, or with coloring like that. Central PA very lightly stocked water with known wild reproduction.

    PB heaviest rainbow

1/2" shorter than my longest at 21.5" but 1/4# heavier at 3.89. Fine ending to the season at this spot.

    It'll be eaten.

    Brook trout?

Was hiking along the Carp River in Marquette Michigan when we saw this fish and not familiar with trout, is it a brook? It’s under the log.

Is a UD glass rod really effective for trout fishing? What advantages does it offer over a graphite rod for this type of fishing?

I just saw DANKUNG advocates for its UD glass rods, including the ML Power UD Glassfin, which is designed for catching larger trout and so forth.... Is a UD glass rod really effective for trout fishing? What advantages does it offer over a graphite rod for this type of fishing?

    Today's catch

The little guys took a hook in the gills. And I couldn't get it out without basically mangling the gills up. So yeah the big stocked rainbow up top was a catch in a really small creek. Was surprised caught 13 in total but kept these.

New to this, some kind of trout or salmon jack?

Caught in the Willamette just south of Cathedral Park in north Portland . Didn’t take time to take a solid pic as I wanted to get it back in the water asap as I primarily do catch & release.

My $50 Daiwa reel finally crapped out on me, looking to upgrade

    https://www.casterhouse.co.jp/shop/products/detail/54185

Is this (Ultegra 2500shg) a decent option for trout fishing in creeks/rivers? Alternatives I am considering are the Ultegra 1000 and Nasci 1000. Looking to spend around $100, $120 max

Faster reel recommendations? Also line question.

I only fish spinners. I’ve been running a pflueger trion. Fell and smashed it smh. Wasn’t quite fast enough anyways. Would like something with 30+ inches per turn.

Bonus question. Is braid worth using? I cast pretty far. I know it increases sensitivity, but does it not spook all the trout it goes over? Thinking of trying it, but don’t want to waste a weekend. I usually catch anything from 10-15 trout a day. Except last Saturday. We don’t talk about that. Edit: i fish exclusively wild trout. No stockies for me :) catch and release! Wild trout are too valuable to only be caught once! Second edit: i fish clear freestone rivers.
