This subreddit is dedicated to the discovery and discussion of books and literature in a female and feminist friendly environment. We read a community selected book each month as well as discuss whatever book related topics are on our minds.

We strive to allow women to discuss their viewpoints on literature without any judgement and to help women discover new books that expand their view of the world.

This is a women's book subreddit that focuses on books primarily by women authors or have a focus on intersectional, trans-inclusive feminism.

Everyone is welcome to read a book together every month, as well as discuss other books and book related topics in a women and feminist friendly environment.

Specific book within category voting from the 18th to the 24th every month.

Books are chosen a month in advance. (i.e. January's book is chosen at the end of November)

What I Read 2020 Discussion

I've seen this in a few places on reddit, and I thought it would be fun to see what everyone here has read this year. I've received most of my best recommendations from perusing the discussions here and I would love to hear what you guys think about my selections or could offer similar or better ones.

Especially when it comes to fantasy, one of my favorite genres, but a genre I find to be mostly filled with clueless dude bros at best, or outright misogynists at worst. Feel free to leave your booklist below or start your own thread.
