Hello Everyone,
HappyChat is a simple key manipulator restricted to Tribes games. It makes sequences like 'You're the shazbot!' easy. I've included a sample .json file for Tribes: Ascend. I hope you all enjoy creating and sharing presets with each other. I love you all, and have fun!
**First Time Instructions:**
Extract and run the program as administrator — this is important.
Ensure the game is running. Select it from the file-open process menu.
Enter custom keys, delays, and a preset name. Then save.
Choose your preset or an imported one from the drop-down menu.
Click “Start” and return to the game. That’s it! :)
**Current Features Overview:**
Multi-Key & Delay: Supports command sequences with multiple keys and delays.
Multi-Game Support: Compatible with multiple games for a flexible experience.
Multi-Sending: Merges natural key sending with Lua for enhanced adaptability.
Preset Management: Save, load, delete, and export unlimited chat presets.
Preset Sharing: Share and merge .json presets to encourage creativity.
Preset Filtering: Automatically removes duplicates for easy management.
Native Support: Runs on .NET Framework 4.8.1, with no extra runtimes needed.
AHK Exclusion: Avoids AHK to reduce detection in flagged processes.
Tooltips: Tooltips available on nearly every control for guidance.
Note: Many advanced features have been excluded to stay within scope.

I'm looking for more shooters that involve Z-axis combat and projectiles that aren't hitscan. DUCKSIDE comes close: it has flight, some kind of skiing and movement plays, gathering/guns, and construction. The issues are it's early access, unknown horizon, and playerbase has been mostly toxic Rust people that quickly moved on after honeymoon period ended.
If anyone has other suggestions for Z-axis games like this, please post. I'm sure it's a common request here. I thought I'd offer DUCKSIDE as something for people to look at that want to fly high
Any T1 base pubs active these days? I just downloaded T1 again after 20+ years away from it. My main handle was hofbitch for those I may have played with, back around 1999-2002. Looking for base players to link up with. Wassup dudes and dudettes!
Edit: Last night (Saturday 10/26) there was about 13 of us playing T1 base. People started joining around 9pm ET and it picked up between 10pm - Midnight ET. It was awesome. I'll be on again tonight around that time for anyone who wants to pick this thing back up with me.

Community vid made to celebrate 20 years of tribes vengeance ( I know you guys hate the game and don't care)
Around half of video is "fragmovie" and half is "funny moments"
When my friends know about the Starsiege lore he asked me which is the deadliest a HERC or an Imperial Titan in w40k? So i told him a HERC especially the Heavy Types like the Apocalypse or the Gorgon in terms of Rawpower, Speed, Armor and Versatility. i even explained that 3 Apocalypse could take on a Standard Imperial Titan with XL Weapons and other formidable weapons like the Tharsis Cache tech. so how about you guys? Which is the deadliest?
Anyone here used to play on NecroBones or Houston Vehicles? Yeah they were not 'serious' servers but damn 64 v 64 servers so much chaos and fun! Might be a hard fought CTF with concentrated raids on the gen room and multi-shrike coordianted attacks on the flag, might be you were seeing how many dancing heavies could stack themselves on top of each other before a mortar shot everyone across the map. Played clan matches too (YAKUZA where you at clownboat?) but have so many good memories from these servers, first and foremost NecroBones - so many great custom maps too. -t2 pigMEup
henlo guys
i wanted to ask a question
is downloading any game thru the link given in sidebar illegal? I know abandonware is illegal but does it apply to freeware games? Afaik the tribes universe site has shut down
I made this post about 8 years ago and its about time we get a new one (especially after the recent release of t3 lul)
How This Works
Someone posts a name (e.g. mstarr) and people reply to it with their knowledge on how they're doing or updates on their situations.
NEW: post your favorite clip here, mine is the time my good friends Slicerdigz and Servot asked me to play with them and i got to buy lots of vehicles. (shoutout to CAS for being good sports about this hell roster subbing for NATL S4 #NFS)
Personally I'd love to hear any updates about Slicerdigz, Servot, DiamondDavid, Snooks, Skery, Sekae
I am Stilgar, the IRCOP in Tribes, T2 & Vengeance.
I still yell f#ck once in a while at Tribal War. com
Anyone attend The Tribes East vs West 2004? When we had someone pull the fire alarms at the east coast hotel at the critical moment.
Recently I bought Tribes Rivals i can find some games in the day but when it gets a bit later there is literally nothing I'm just waiting to join a match for ages is there a more active community still going for older tribes games?
How do I fix this? It keeps glitching when I put my cursor near the window
I want to bring HERCs to the Battletech tabletop, and while I've been able to find a couple, they're almost all Earthsiege era "polygon blocks on legs" HERCs, rather than some of the more detailed and interesting designs from Cyberstorm.
as the title says. i'm ultimately trying to create color coded versions of the default skins by editing them in gimp.
i've had to use the wayback machine to figure some of this out. i know about exogen's browser-based skinner ( Tribes 2 browser-based model viewer & skinner ) which isn't exactly what i'm looking for, although it's helped me understand hoiw the skins all need to have an alpha layer.
thing is I dont know how to gain access to the default alpha layers. is there a way to extract it out of a .png? if anybody out there has any info it would be appreciated.

Hey all,
Edit: y'all are missing the point. I played tribes for years, I know you could just hold space. I am looking for technical details about how the engine handled it.
Does anyone know how Tribes 2 handled skiing at the mechanics/scripts level? I.e. back in T1 we all had ski scripts so we didn't have to manually mash spacebar. Did T2 just have T1 skiing with a ski script "built in" or did the engine treat skiing as its own mode?
That is to say, do skiing in T1 and T2 work differently at all? How did the engine in T2 know you were skiing?
Loaded up the game today and hitting play doesn't put me in a queue to find an open match anymore. In fact, it doesn't do anything at all. Is it just me or, did they yank the servers down?
