Spanish Speaking Jobs in Raleigh Area

Hello, I am trying to help my friend find some work. She recently moved here with some family and is struggling trying to find work, mainly because she only speaks Spanish currently. Does anyone have recommendations for work for people with only Spanish? Shes done work at Walmart before but apparently they were not the kindest and did not pay well. She is doing work at a factory now but from what she tells me she doesn't like it, and it seems slightly unsafe. Any jobs or helpful info to point me in the right direction would be appreciated, I would like to help her find some work.

Looking for trans-friendly employers with more career growth potential than Starbucks

Hello! I'm a 28 year old trans woman and finding a career is a pretty challenging endeavor even before factoring in being "different" in society's eyes (honestly I'm pretty boring in my own POV). I have a bachelor's degree but it's in history so it's not super marketable. I decided not to become a teacher like I'd planned when I was younger and it hasn't been as easy to find an alternate path as my naive younger self assumed it would be. I worked for a few years after graduation as a hotel night auditor doing front desk + some basic accounting stuff before moving to Raleigh. I currently work as a barista/trainer at Starbucks, but to be frank I'm not earning enough to comfortably support myself long-term.

Does anyone have any leads? I'm pretty open to anything career-oriented and I'm willing to learn new skills if anyone is willing to train. I've applied for countless government jobs and pursued positions in things like museums, copyediting, accounting, etc. but I just never even manage to get interviews anywhere, so I need to broaden my scope. Any leads or advice would be appreciated. It doesn't have to be glamorous.

Looking for New Grad Data Scientist/Analyst Roles

The title is exactly as it sounds. I graduated in May and am on the hunt for a role in the RTP/RDU Area. I had an internship with a major health insurance company but despite glowing reviews from my boss, they could not sign me on full-time due to budget cuts. I am open to any kind of role, from fully remote to fully in-person. I've applied to 300+ jobs, with 100 of them being since the beginning of August, all with changed wording to hopefully pass the ATS scan. I am open to just about any industry. Thanks in advance!

[FOR HIRE] Seeking Senior Sales (Not Tech)

I'm looking for a second career after starting and running a successful company for almost 2 decades.

My main role at my company was sales. I grew our customer base to almost 300 accounts and managed 600+ contacts. I was regularly finding product and manufacturing solutions for my customers.

I'm willing to travel and have easy access to RDU and CLT.

I am currently being interviewed for an Account Management position with Owens Corning. Specifically external sales for their commercial insulation division. I want to see what else might be out there before I commit.

I have excellent communication skills. I'm 39 and can sell anything. My only downfall is I'm not on Linkedin.

Physics/semiconductor/engineering jobs in the triangle

Hello! I’m working at a DOE lab out west and looking to get back to NC. I’ve got a wide variety of experience (material characterization, device testing, programming, production/manufacturing), and I’m curious if any one knows of any companies in the triangle that are hiring for those types of skills. I’ve been out of NC for a couple years so I don’t have a personal view of the job market out there and I’m not sure how reliable the postings on LinkedIn/indeed are. Any help is appreciated!

[HIRING] Mandarin or Japanese speaking nanny

Hello! Our family is looking for a Mandarin or Japanese speaking nanny to look after our 2 year old girl part time during the week. We are in the Wake Forest area.

Both parents work at home and the hours are very flexible. Basically as much or as little as you would like. Our ideal schedule would be 2-3 hours in the morning 3-5 days per week. Pay is also flexible (we will consider up to $50/hr). We just want the best for our little one!

She is a very sweet and easy child. We have a beautiful pool for use during the warmer months as well as a fantastic yard.

This could be a wonderful and potentially long term option for the right person. Let me know if that's you or if you know of anybody who might fit. Thank you!

Job searching.

Hey as the title suggests I am searching for a job in the Chemistry field. I have experience in chemistry laboratories. I did undergraduate research at my university, I worked in a stability testing lab, and currently I'm working in a clinical lab at MUSC. I'm not sure who to talk to or where to look to find such opportunities as where I am currently living is becoming harder due to the lack of opportunities for better pay and the rising cost of living. Any help is appreciated.

[For Hire] Experienced SEO Strategist Looking for FT, PT or Contract/Freelance Work. Also interested in Project or Event Coordination/Management Roles.

Hi there!

I'm an SEO in the Raleigh area with 12 years of experience looking for my next job.

Hopefully, this isn't too much info in one post, as I'm interested in two main categories: SEO roles, and roles in the Project Management/Coordination or Event Coordination/Management space.

SEO: I've worked in a mix of agency-side, in-house, and freelance roles and enjoyed all three. My agency and freelance positions have operated across several industries in both B2C and B2B spaces, while my main in-house job was a 6-year stint on the corporate side of an enterprise news organization. My main focus has been on end-to-end strategy ownership (and all the added layers built into creating and executing organic strategy). Handling client relationship management, project management, and SEO training are other areas of focus. Without getting into a lot of detail, that's a buttoned-up short version.

Coordination/Management: Over the years, I've always enjoyed the coordination and management role behind projects and events. Between owning project manager duties professionally and volunteering to be a wedding coordinator or event planner for friends, I'd be very interested in breaking into a professional role that chiefly focuses on these facets.

If anyone has leads on these types of jobs, referrals, connections, or just some good ol' advice, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you. Thank you!
